Wow, it has been a long time between posts.
Nic - Marley will go in 2012 too. In Vic they have to turn 5 before April 30 (I think?) so we have no choice. I wish it was next year LOL!!! Marley is loving her Learning Ladder Stiles, they are fantastic. She gets so excited when she gets the picture right and now doesn't need my help. Anyone thinking of getting them, do it, they are so good for their learning. Even her number recognition is getting better.
Tali - are you settled in your new place yet? Let me know as you were looking in an area not far from me. Would love to catch up.
DH had his surprise 40th last Saturday night. It went off without a hitch and he didn't suspect a thing. He was so surprised and is still talking about it. Lots of brownie points to me lol!!!! He looked so funny too. Pics are on Facebook if you want a good laugh. He looked a bit like Shaggy from Scooby Doo!
School trivia night tomorrow night, which I have organised. Its been a huge couple of weeks with DH's party and the trivia night. Be glad when I don't have to organise anything!
How is everyone else going? Any interesting goss???

Kinder next year for us, too - just sent off an enrolment for the first choice main town, and have two other back ups in the works, but first choice may change, cos now that the rush to enrol for kinder is about to end, I am going to go to the local schools and probably match up the kinder with the school town...tough gig in the country!
Mel, loved those 40th pics! Relle looked a treat, too :)
Heading down to the farm tomorrow and wanted to get a good night of sleep, but T stayed awake after swimming and at least I"ve packed Oscar's things...i'ts only one night, but I have a big day of the first Booby Club meeting in the town we're moving to, then off to my first Reconciliation Action Group meeting in the beach town near our farm, then dinner with a friend who lives down that way (at the local Indian!) and in between going to show my friend our farm, cos she moved a bit further along than us and along the highway, but travellable distance and she's an ABA counsellor, so she's up for this big invite to the new Booby Club, too. Phew...bring on Sunday...cos that's the day AFTER the brigade annual dinner...
Oscar seems to like his Kinderballet class...fingers crossed, cos I just paid for the term! No more Kindergym, that was a waste of money cos he wouldn't participate properly. He's grasping death quite well and loves our steers and wants a white pony...!!
Yes, Tali - where you at? MIght sms you to see if you're at your parents still...cos this meeting in the arvo is in their town!
Better go do some computer things before turning in. I have been thinking of you and meaning to get to type something up, so thanks heaps, Nic! How's Nixon's stuff going?

Will started Kindy last February - i guess it's different over here in WA to elsewhere. 2 full days a week and he loves it, can't wait to get back each time but is so tired when he gets home often lies on the sofa and watches tv. He will be full time in pre-primary next year so that will be great for him though might keep him home one day if he is too tired to cope with a full week. The teachers at the school are wonderful and supportive, Oscar is loving his pre-primary this year, after a bumpy start his behaviour has improved drastically and he is like a different child. The school that they both go to goes from kindy right through to year 12 and is only a 15 minute walk from where i live so very handy.
Mel - loved your hubbys birthday pics too - so funny and you a red head with huge hair :-)
Tali, Rory & Ali - hope all your pg's are going great.
Hello to everyone else. i don't really come on here much now as i'm kind of moving on from the baby stage and want to stop missing it :-). My little baby will be 2 in a few weeks time and is lovely but very full on - another runner and the last couple of weeks she has really been testing me so this will be my first go at 'terrible 2's' as Osc was terrible from 6months-2 and Will 3+ (but not that terrible, just very angry!).
But all is good here, very happy and enjoying life. hope you all the same.

Tori actualley started Kindy this year, she is doing 5 days a fortnight, in WA they go to Kindy if they turn 4 before 30th June or else they have to wait till the year after, then pre-primary when they are 5 before June 30 and then onto year 1- Kindy and preprimary are part of school too, so she is already at the public school she will go to until year 7.
Next year she will actualley be doing 5 full days a week. It has been great she was more than ready to go, loves school and everything to do with learning, which has been really lucky for us.
As for preggy bellies, mine is doing well- getting ready to start mat leave though, only another 6 weeks to go. We are having a real struggle trying to think of names, at the moment this baby could well end up being baby smith for the first few days of its life.

Hey everyone, we are settled in, we are now living in Glen Waverley, which I never realise how close to everything it is, just wish it was cheeper to buy here, not that we are looking anytime soon...
Kai will also start kindy next year, but I am looking at going back to work once the baby is 6 mths old, not sure what I will do as I am unskilled, but hope to find something to kick my brain into gear again, its been a long 10 years since I have worked so it will be a shock to the system theats for sure... My brother said I should think about doing a food handling course so I can work at the hospital handing out food, which wouldnt be to bad I guess, just hope they can work around school hours a little...
other than that I am 18 weeks have the u/s coming up in 2 weeks, so we will be able to find out what we are having, I am hoping its a boy, as is BHL and Zayden, but the girls of couse want a sister, so we will just have to wait and see what happens...

Rory and Ali - hope you guys are enjoying your maternity leave.
Tali - Glen Waverley is very pretty. I regularly shop at the Glen which is a great little shopping centre. If you want to catch up there, just send me a message on FB. The Deli there is beautiful.
We have exciting news.............Marley is finally doing poo in the toilet . It's been a long time coming but its finally happening and not just a once off, all the time!!!! I am so relieved, I didn't think it was ever going to happen.
School holidays at the moment and I have Chelsea with me a work today. She loves it. We are off to see Mary Poppins on Saturday (yes, Grand Final day!) which we are both looking forward to.
Maya - how is farm life going? I love seeing your pics on FB, looks like such a beautiful spot.
Hope everyone else is doing well and coping with the school holidays...early days yet lol!!
