Babies born~November 16th-30th 2009 #2

Haha, Natty, I'm not usually allowed to mow the lawn, but I surrended to the leg humping earlier that day, so was given permission! hahaha. He just doens't like me doing it because its a 'mans' job. Also the time i mowed before that, was days before i had a m/c - so he is now freaked out about the whole thing. Isn't it just great when they start to laugh?? Music for the soul :p I gave Theo a rasberry (blowing on his stomach, not an actually rasberry, lol) today and i got the best giggle yet, was kinda a belly laugh iykwim. I just melted. But ofcorse he decided once was enough, and refused to do it again.

Snowy great news on the new additions to the family! I get sooo excited when our family grows. My cousin is due to have her second in a couple of weeks, and i think i'm more excited about it, than what i was when I was pregnant, lol. Twins too! How lovely!

AFM Theo has had a TERRIBLE day. I kid you not he slept for 20 minutes (while i typed my earlier post) and thats it!!! He's finally gone down now. Its 9:00pm. Lets hope he stays that way. I think he had a bad pain in his belly, poor little fella. And on top of that Kaili has also had a bad one. I had a squizz in her mouth and her last 2 year molar is FINALLY cutting through. So she's snotty, and very sooky.
I gave her a bulla frozen yoghurt pop before bed. Was washing up. Theo was in the swing thingo. I hear a kinda cough from theo, and kaili has put the stick from her icecream in his mouth :o I FREAKED out!! Smacked her bum and sent her to her room. :redface: Anyway, called DH (he's outta town), told lhim, and then he blasts me for not watching her?! argh. men.

OMG.... THEO IS AWAKE!! YOU"RE KIDDING ME!!!!

Oh Telly you poor thing, Theo must be on the roof if he hasnt slept much! Isnt it crap that they get harder to get to sleep the tireder they are... Wow arent husbands helpful with their parenting advice when they are not there to live the circumstance lol....:wall:

Totally agree with you on the giggles too, we have had a few really good ones but I cant seem to get a nice smile for the camera. I have a bigg arsed black camera and I think id freaks her out, never mind the blinding flash lol...She always has this 'what the.." look on her face from the preflash flash thingo....

Haha to surrendering to the leg humping, I too have had to give in to the poor dhs whining about his lack of erm..satisfaction....hhhmmm Then Im supposed to just love it when all I really want to do is sleep, or maybe for him to make me a nice cup of tea! :rofl: I guess its not the same..:shakehead:

Haha Telly, About the lawnmowing... my mumma does EVERYTHING around the house, dad does nothing... she used to mow the lawn all the time but when she was preggers dad would only let her mow the back lawn so the neighbours wouldn't see her! hahahaha!!!

holiday was great!!!! too short of course and im noticing not having dh here already as hes at our cafe getting ready to open tomorrow. oh i miss the extra pair of hands.

had both kiddies immunised yesterday, then regretted getting harper done. oh well. cant take it back, but will think of next ones. dh will object no doubt

day 3 of ww online. going well. went for a killer walk down and back our massive hilly street yesterday. feel good. im on 30 pts telly.....wtf????

oh and tmi.....dtd for the first time since harper on hols.....it was great!!!!!!! he he he! bit of make up s*x in there i think too.......gotta love fighting sometime!!

Hi Madame - welcome back, glad you had a lovely holiday. Go the porn start bb's, mine were never big to begin with and I was so looking forward to having some with pregnancy and a baby and they grew for a bit but since my milk dropped off they've started to go down again :wall: I'll be back in my B cup before I know it......B cup bb's and a muffin top that is struggling to fit into size 12's let alone 10's! Should I just slit my wrists now? :o Go DTD!!! We've only done it twice since Amelia was born, the first time was ouchy but the second was good. Will be much nicer when I get rid of this disgusting fat roll around my guts however, won't feel so conscious! The lights are definitely out for us these days! :o

On a happier note Amelia just did her 5th night in a row of sleeping through, she dropped her last feed again though, just wouldn't wake up, what can you do! I definitely think the cot is the key, she loves the space, I'm sure the formula helps too. I'm still bf'ing before a bottle, not sure how much she gets but I figure some is better than none - I'm persevering girls, I'm persevering!

Today I'm visiting a friend and we're walking to the shopping centre nearby her, it's only a 15 minute walk each way but I figure with walking around the shops as well it's good exercise. Get to properly road test my new pram too!

Well, Amelia's cracking the poopies, she's tired and won't go to sleep unless I pick her up so best go!!!!

hey madame, glad your holiday went well. And awesome news about your dtd experience, lol. Lookin' like a porn star with those boobies, bet your DH is happy about your bfing! My boobies are huge too, but look no where near porn star quality. They're heading south these days (haha, "these days", like its only recently they've been this way :rolleyes: ). Definately a boobie job for me once i've have my all my kidlets. As for the points. I'm pretty sure you're lighter than me, remembering our bellybuddy group discussions. So i'm not sure why i'd be on less points than you. I ticked the box "zero to no exercise", lol. Cause really - im quite lazy when it comes to anything remotely active :redface: So maybe thats why you're on more? Either way, trust me you'll still lose weight - its awesome!

Created a human being... created your daughter ;) Your body isn't disgusting at all - your body tells a story, shows you're a woman, a mother - and as far as i'm concerned, there's no better accomplishment in this world. AFM DD had a terrible night last night, poor little chicken. This last tooth is really hurting her. To make it worse i didn't have any panadol. I try to limit panadol usage, and use it so rarely i didnt even know i was out! lol. So she had to have the night cold turkey. i put her in bed with me, but she woke a couple of times not being able to breathe (she gets flu like symptoms when teething, always has).

Theo is well. Mum bought him a 'taggie' blanket because he is always pulling his shirt up and sucking on it, and he absolutely loves it! its so cute. Defiantely think he's going to have a wooly. I had one when i was little too. I read a gentle parenting book when kaili was little, and it highly recommended a 'wooly'. As its ends up their comfort. Instead of them wanting cuddles, all they end up wanting is to lie in the cot snuggling their wooly iykwim. So fingers crossed it works!

Oh also, mum gave me a photo of me when i was a baby. omg... theo is like my twin!! lol
i'll put it on FB for you all to have a squizz, makes me giggle.

Hi Telly - what is a woolly and a taggie blanket? Amelia has a little blanket thing with a teddy head on it but I'm too scared to give it to her in her cot in case she puts it on her head, is that likely to happen? She too loves to hang onto something like a security blankie so I feel I should give her something! :o hee hee your BB's going south, I'm not sure I have enough to go south but whats the bet they find a way and not only will I have small bb's but ones down to my knees as well lol! Thanks for your lovely comments re my body, I really need to follow your lead and stop eating crap and I will feel much better. Talking of crap, Amelia's grunting, always the way, as soon as I change her nappy she poos. :o Can't wait to see your pics of Theo, Amelia looked like me when she was born, our baby photos were identical, but everyone is saying she looks like Paul now, darn it!!!!! :shakehead:

yea a woolie is just a security blanket. i just called it a wooly cause thats what i called my security blanket when i was little, haha.

oh also a 'taggie' is the brand name
its a blanket with heaps of tags. actually theo is holding it in the photo i just put up

its awesome because (im sure you'll notice then once our bubs are big enough to really 'play' with toys. but babies LOVE the tags on things. Kaili used to sit there sucking on the tags of things for agggees. don't know why. think its the feel of them..?

ali- squeeze into a 12??? i wish! i spill over a tight 14 and i cant bear to look at my self i feel so gross. you are GORGEOUS!!!! and yes what telly said- you made amelia. thats how i feel about my stretchies. like a receipt for my beautiful bubbas. we women are amazing!!!
nice pram too....we had the strider 3 with tully, but upgraded to a phil and teds for the two. was a good pram, bit wide, but i loved it. just couldnt take toddler. youll love it. gorgeous colour too. walking is great for you, ive just started full on walking with my ww online too. hot mumma here i come.

kymmy- size 9 you hot thing you x glad dd has another pony. she is just beautiful! you make cute kids you two.....

natty- you cuddle that violet! it makes for happy bubbas and mummas! they are way to young to be "spoilt" . i had a family friend say enough cuddles or we will spoil her in the hospy at 2 days old! wtf??????
we started a sleep routine with tully when he was 8 months old- as i was so knackered still feeding him 3 times overnight and with a business that we had just opened- and we used the book save our sleep by tizzie hall. had a bit of crying which was so terrible but seriously after a week he would go down so well. We are now on night 3 of him at 18 months in a single bed! he sleeps great now. you just do what works for you guys and makes you all happy.
:ROFL: at dh making a cup of tea for you.... im the same. id just love him to get up before i do to do something...like change a nappy or something. DH wouldnt dare begging.....he is quite good that way...mind you our dtd was helped by a glass of bubbly.....we were on hols....
i have a big black camera too that tully loves and harper is a bit unsure of- but i have some great photos with it! i love photography!! love your avvy too! hottie redhead alert!!!!!!

telly- my bb's only looked porn star coz im like a 14 d or something and they are a size 10 billabong triangle top! that shows how long its been since i was a hottie! not even new bathers!
poor kaili with her teeth. tully has two year old molars to come..i think theyll be here soon- he always seems to be chewing on his fingers
love the taggie blanket idea.. i made one for my cousin for xmas- she loves it! tully has a teddy named charlie that he takes to bed and just loves. i had a blankie- one of those woolen ones with silk edge- pink- i think my mums boxer dog has it now !!!
funny bout theo being your baby twin- harper was dh's lookalike but now i think she looks more like tully. ill have to post some comparison pics too
ww is great- hope i do lose weight. im so over feeling so uncomfortable in myself and my too tight clothes- too much of a tight ar*e to by more till im skinny- reward perhaps...the first day i was starving, but im used to the smaller amount of food. boy- did i over eat! no wonder my booty is so bootylicious! mini goal- get to 78- start weight 83:redface: end goal 60kg which was what i was when we married 5 years ago..i think youve done really well with your losses- i hope im successfull! it will keep me motivated! i'd be happy fitting comfortably in a size 12. thats all but 60kg is my dream!

afm- well we had a great time at wye river which is on the great ocean road past lorne. gorgeous log cabin up in the hills we rented, tully didnt dig the beach- scared a bit by the noise of the waves but played a bit in the sand. we got him a cute ripcurl rashie and he loved it!
he had more fun on the slide at the park!
we open our cafe again tomorrow so dh is there prepping his little heart out, ill bake some stuff tonight so we have cake to sell!
both kiddies had vacc yesterday, were ok, but i had second thoughts after harper had hers for some reason.....

going well with my ww online. went for a good walk- which i havent done for a while- hence why im overweight. feel so good :D

hope everyone is well- harper has only had one feed overnight the last two nights- so massive sore bb's for me in the morn. now i have a bit expressed in the freezer.
harper is growing well- ppl think she is big for her 8 weeks.. she looks long to me. have health nurse appt for the two of them next tues so we will see then!

i had to actually go looking for this thread its been so long since the last post. :o So out of character ladies!

madame i know what you mean about tully in his big bed. i think the same when kaili goes to bed. and occasionally she's mucking around and jumps in the cot for fun, and i think.. naww.. my little girl is so big now... really does fly! And i was/am an over eater too. my portions have always been my problem. if something tastes good i want to eat eat eat. Which is why the whole 'watching what i eat' diet never worked. Because although i was eating healthy, i was eating a lot of it iykwim. 5 kg is a good mini goal! Won't take long. Especially with you bfing! Mine is 10.. when i reach 10 i'm going for a haircut i've decided.
Must be hard baking cakes for your cafe and not being able to sample them.. DH made blueberry muffins with DD this morning and i tell you what... i'm about DIE, the smell is soooo good.

Anyway, i'm gonna try and have a nap. feeling very tired!

AFM - went to Target again today, finally picked up my bounty bag, better late than never. I also detoured past the baby section and came out another $100 less, my goodness, I just can't resist, I bought some stuff for winter ahead cause it's too cute to resist, also got some more bottles and things which is where the cost came in! I got the cutest little leggings with lace on the bottom and a cute t-shirt that has the superman logo on it but it's in pink sequins hee hee for super girl.....cute as. I saw a lady in there heavily pregnant looking at baby clothes and I couldn't stop staring at her gorgeous belly. She was staring at me with my pram, I thought how funny, I used to be like her wishing I had the baby already when I'd see girls with their bubs looking at clothes, and here's me looking at her remembering the wonderful feeling of carrying a baby in your tummy. I certainly wouldn't trade my baby girl for anything but I do look forward to that feeling of having a bub in your tummy again down the track. If only I could avoid the morning sickness part, ha ha!
