Hi Y'all!
GUESS WHAT!? I dyed my hair dark!!! Like really dark! I like it alot!
Taking Archie for his needles tomorrow but am sh*tting myself! Am i supposed to give him panadol first??? I keep having second thoughts about doing it but know it's for the best..... Or is it???!!
There is some kind of movie/commercial being filmed in our town... i'd really like to know whats going on... will be doing some investigating tomorrow. Will let you know ASAP if any hotties are involved and you can all make the trek over......... hahaha!
Telly: WOOHOO on your weight loss!!! Well done honey! x
Alison: I'm the same with spending dosh!! But i am in to internet shopping!!!! Just yesterday i spent $50 on some new tops for Archie on the Purebaby website. It's all organic cotton and really good quality, he already has a couple of shirts in that brand and they are the only ones that still look really nice even after being washed heaps. And the best thing was that they were having a sale!!........... That's my story and i'm sticking to it! haha! I haven't even got a bounty bag! How do you get one?? I want free stuff damn it!!!!
Sarah: I don't have a life either!!! I've taken to obsessing over how tidy my house is and baking cookies and eating them... that is pretty much my day filled up! haha! Yay on Tully being in a big bed! He is so so so so very adorable Sarah, so is Harper... you are such a good baby maker, you should go into business, you'd make a fortune... haha!
Hello everyone else!
Better go, there is a house to tidy and cookies to be eaten.....

Oh my gosh Kymmy i can't wait to see your hair!
Bet you look smokin'!
Those cookies are sounding pretty delish too i must say! Bet your DD lunch box is yumo! oh and yep. i don't have a life either! lol
Hey ubba - hope your headache goes away quick smart
Hey mon - its a 1$ joining fee atm. So if you really wanted you could pay the $1, plus the $17 for the weekly meeting, buy the point books (i think they're around 20 bucks, and there's two of them), and then never go back! That way you woudlnt have to pay the weekly meeting every week, and just do it all at home. So itd probably cost around 60 bucks.. but i'm over estimating (would rather tell you more than not enough). Not sure how the online one works.. you'll have to ask madame. But i am finding my grocery bill is more expensive now.. for some reason healthy eating costs more? But in the end its just about healthy eating and portion control... something you could do on your own without the books, just use common sense iykwim. :) hth
anyway.. better go to bed. theo's been asleep for an hour now.. oopsie! :o

Hi Kymmy - yay for going dark, can't wait to see it, put some pics up on FB! I used to be really blonde - was naturally blonde until my teens and then fake blonde after that. A couple of years ago I got sick of my hair being in such bad condition so went dark, firstly I went a red based brown and then a chocolate brown and I loved it! It made my green eyes stand out so much more and was shiny and healthy and grew! These days I have the brown and then a few blonde foils on top but come winter I'll just go dark alone again I think. Dark hair always looks so shiny and healthy!
Oooh what film is happening, let me know and I'll come for a squiz ha ha. I haven't heard anything but that means nothing!
Amelia's nights of 10 hours straight without waking up came to a halt this morning, she woke up at 4.00 am, so I put the dummy in and she woke again at 5.00 am crying. I put her in our bed and she went to sleep until 6.30 am. Bummer, I was getting used to that ha ha!

Telly I might check out the online ww, I think my problem is portion size too  I am a piggy and I think sometimes I compete with my hubby but he actually exercises lol... I set my alarm to do exercise this morning and V decided it was time to get up too grrr little nutter..Hopefully I can get all the books sent here lol how lazy am I cant even be bothered to go to a ww place haaahaaa!

Sooooooooo i try and type one handed lol
This morning we went to meet a friend from our antenatal class and her bub and lo and behold V was happy on and off in the pram! Now she has always hated it so this amazed me and is encouraging for next time lol..We just walked around our shops but we were there for a good 3 hours...I got dh some crystal scotch glasses for Valentines day..They were exxy but 1/2 price so couldnt pass thwm up seeing as one in his set of 2 is chipped and he refuses to chuck it. (the old set was $250 for 2 and i def wont pay that again lol)
V is now 5.3 kg at 13 weeks and the paed is really happy with her and complimented me on doing a great job with her...he noticed a real change from last time and she busted out the smiles for him too..so haha to dh the naysayer lol..
ok nowi have swapped hands so its worse now ill go again xx
-
Hi Natty - ha ha, Amelia was 5.3 kgs at 9 weeks, woops!!! The glasses sound lovely, I haven't even thought of Valentine's Day :o I'm glad V liked the pram, Amelia loves the pram too. I've got mothers group today but we're meeting at the park across from my house bargain. They asked if it rained could they come to mine as it's overcast but muggy today, I said no way, the house is a friggin disaster zone I'd be dead embarrassed! Pray for no rain, pray for no rain! lol
Right, it's 1.00 pm and I might even try and have some lunch for a change.
-
Lol Im praying for no rain for you but ill have it here it is so hot we need some refreshing downpour...That is handy that you are meeting across the road lol, I am taking my new friend from antenatal classes to test out a mg next thursday, when I had V everything was shut up for Chrissy and noone wanted to point me in the right direction although I felt I really could have benefited from the reassurance from others (At least I has you bb girls tho..) So now I am going to test some out in the area and take Nicky with me...So sad that my new friends name is my dogs aswell...
Yeah the glasses were a bargain, same brand as the other ones but half price at Myers and only $150 for 4 but they are niiiice..Dh doesnt ask for much and I know he feels all grown up with his scotch glasses lol.
Glad your pram is working out if I had my time again I would get that one with the travel system and all..Oh well V is slowly getting more interested in the dangly things inside the pram so doesnt hate it too much lol..
I cut my thumb yest making lunch I almost chopped the top of it off and there was blood squirted all over the kitchen ad my lunch...V was crying and I was bleeding it was a disaster I ended up stickytaping viva wipes to my thumb until I could settle her down. Funny before her I would have been bawling but this time I didnt have the time to feel sorry for myself I just had to get on with it..Hadr I tell you lol...
God I use lol alot...I do think I amuse myself tho LOL lol LOL lol
Wonder who is tired...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
Geez Archie must be a big fatty cos he was 6130g at 8 weeks! He was also just about the same length (at his six week check) as Brittney was at 5 months!!!! I think we might have a monster on our hands.........
Natty: Ouchy on your thumb! Isn't it funny how you change once you've had a bubba!? Things are so different in every aspect of your life! You are so good to your hubby! I haven't even thought about Valentines day either!! But i did buy myself an iphone for my birthday (on the 20th)!!!! haha! Priorities!
Alison: Have fun at mothers group!! Will try to put some pics up of my hairdo!!!
Gotta go get ready for the school run... am sittin here in my knickers!!! haha!

Hi Girls,
I took Ruby to the MCHN today. She weighs 5710grams, length 61cm, head 41.5. The nurse thinks her neck might be out so I have made an appointment at the osteo tomorrow.
Im still so tired I can hardly type....
Gotta go and cook tea, I might come back later. Then again I might just crawl into bed :)
-
one handed typing on the big bubba stories-
my friends 6 month old is 9.5kg but another friends 5 month old is 12 kg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
aLI i JUST SAW THE "CRAWLING" oops caps sorry...video. That poor baby sounded distressed. Is that the lady from your work?
-
Hi Girls!
Hi Natty - I can't stop laughing, you crack me up girl, what a hoot you are! Your post about cutting your finger, whilst ouchy I love that you used sticky tape and viva wipes, talk about improvisation ha ha. You're great value mate! Oh and my god re the video of the girl from work's baby, see what I mean now!!!!!! Honestly, crawling, the baby didn't move, she just cried like get me the hell off my stomach! Another friend just messaged me after seeing it and said, fancy posting that on FB, what a way to make yourself look like a right d*head! lol (I like LOL too have you notice?). That same girl has told me this afternoon after not listening about feeding every 3 hours whilst little that her baby sleeps from 9.00 pm to 3.00 or 4.00 am without a feed and then goes straight back down until 9.00 am.....seriously, this is not good for the baby, they need to eat or their blood sugars drop and they don't grow properly which also affects their development etc. She just will not listen, she thinks she has a perfect baby on her hands, the poor thing is sleeping so much as she hasn't the energy to be awake! I think she's making things worse for herself but she won't listen to me so I just say oh wow that's great and bite my tongue. :wall:
Hi Ubba, Ruby sounds like she's growing really well! I have to get Amelia weighed again, she was 5.3 kgs 2 weeks ago so no doubt she'd be around the 6 kg mark now!
Hi Madame - my goodness 12 kgs at 5 months!!! My sister in law's boy is massive, he was 11 kgs at 6 months too and he's still big at 18 months now, he eats like a pig though, it's healthy food but he just does not stop! I think it's ugly when they're that fat do you?
Hi Kymmy - ooh I can't wait to see your hair. Did you manage to put some pants on before picking up your daughter? ha ha....I'm sure there'd be some male teachers who wouldn't mind the view you little hottie you!
Guess I should go have a shower while Amelia is asleep, DH is getting dinner - again, I don't think I've cooked more than twice since I had her :o
-
Im still up - D is bringing me choccy.........
Has anyone ever looked at buying stuff off ebay from overseas? I have a few times and havnt had a problem. Anywho, I was looking at the taggies blankets on ebay from the US and found there are dolly's and balls and books, even clothing! I think I have a new 'obsession'! LOL!!
-
Hi Ubba - yes of course I have lol....I'm an Ebay addict! I just bought a pair of dungarees from the UK today, brand new without tags, paid $7.00 including postage! I've bought heaps from overseas - as long as the sellers feedback rating is good you should be fine. Paypal covers you anyway. :D Might have to have a squiz at the taggies then. Gosh I risked having my wedding dress made in China from Ebay and it all worked out perfectly ha ha! Happy Ebaying, it's fun isn't it.
-
Yes Alison...........a bit too fun :o
-
If anyone is interested, Toys r Us have a big sale on. They have 40% of the Taggies range - I know where I am going! Telly this is all your fault, all I have been searching for is Taggies lol
-
Hi Ubba - oh dear, that could be dangerous! :p
I think Amelia might be going through a growth spurt??? She was doing 10 hour nights until the last 2 where she's woken after 6, she's also sleeping a bit more during the day than normal (she normally catnaps) and she's quite grizzly when she's tired which she normally doesn't cry much and her appetite increased yesterday. This morning she woke at 5.00 am and I fed her and she went to sleep for 1.5 hours and was up hungry again. She went down again as soon as she'd eaten pretty much, no awake time. Hmmmm. Just when you get used to something it changes!
-
Alison, I got the wonder weeks book off ebay and it tells you all about the developmental leaps babies make and what weeks to expect a bit of disruption.. I think Amelia may be getting ready to show you some new skills, just give her lots of cuddles :)
fwiw V is doing a lot of changing things on me too :)
Has anyone else read the science of parenting? I ordered that too.
