C'mon girls....it's going to be my night tonight...I can feel it.
She's down in her cot. She's been in since 8:30 and it's now 9:40 and no noise from her yet. She has been feeding on and off me all afternoon and then had about 100ml of formula before she went down....
FINGERS CROSSED PLEASE!!! DH better not try it on tonight cause it's not happening!! I'm not wasting my sleep time! He he!
-
Good luck Shayna, I hope it's your night tonight! 100mls of formula is good, might fill her up to sleep, Amelia has 125mls! :p
-
I have everything crossed for you Shayna (including my own legs lol) Puhleeeease Abbey let Mummy sleeeeep!
-
Moening! (already...lol)
Shayna I really hope you got some sleep last night, hopefully the formula was enough to tide her over - maybe you could give it to her later in the night or an extra FF? I know breastfeeding is supposed to work on supply and demand, but Im pretty sure (correct me if m wrong) your supply can drop in the evening, so maybe she's just not getting enough at that time?. Plus if she is feeding all day and you arent getting any sleep then you probably wont be producing milk as effectively KWIM. xxx
Natty- You crack me up with your little comments. I used to be funny too but I seem to have lost it - Ill blame the baby brain and lack of sleep, Im sure it will come back - I hope! V sounds like such a great little girl sleeping so well. She is a little bit older than Ruby so Im hoping we are at the same stage as you in a few weeks
Alison- Your swimming class sounds great! I will check if there is something like that around where I live. Nice to hear Amelia is sleeping so well, You;ll just have to make sure you get to bed earlier so you can benifit from it!
Telly- I hope the night was ok for your Grandpa, its sad when someone close goes into hopsital, even worse when you are told they wont make it.
Billy- Been thinking about your posts on Ella's fontanelle - wondering if you have any more news on it or not?
Kymmy- Hows little Archie going? 2 months old and he has a broken bone, hopefully its not a sign of things to come... Wrap him in bubble wrap and all will be fine ;)
Hi Madame and Snowy, hope motherhood is treating you well.
Arimeh- Hope the move isnt too stressful, are you having internet withdrawals??? haha.
Hi to everyone else that I missed
AFM- I caught up with my bestie from high school yesterday, havnt seen her in 13 years! I found her on FB and found out she only lives 20 mins from me. It was a good catch up, she seemed to be the same person I remember.
I also bought a new pair of jeans!! I was looking around for ages and couldnt find anything I liked and then I went into one last shop and I found them. $40 well spent, and not from a shop I would normally buy clothes from either!
Last day of school holidays today! I have to finish covering DD's books - oh what a pain in the arse that job is, I told her next year she can just have her books plain, the stress I am going through because it keeps bubbling or gets massive creases isnt worth it :wall: She is so excited, I cant believe my first baby is in grade 3 :o
DS starts 4 yo kinder this year too, I am really looking forward to the 2 mornings and 2 afternoons every week he will be there. Im sure he is looking forward to that time too - he is the type of kid that needs to have alot of stimulation and I am just too tired to give it to him all the time.
Ruby, ahhhhh Ruby. My little pudding. She just needs to learn that night time is for sleeping and day time is for napping. Need I say more?
Love to you all xxx
-
Hi Ubba, That is so funny you saying you want to be where we are in a few weeks cos I guarantee you didnt want to be ANYTHING like us for the first 10 weeks..That did my head in and I was ready to get my tubes tied in secret lol..I hope Ruby sorts out her sleeping soon for you too :) What a good mummy you are doing battle with the dreaded contact..EEEP!
xx
PS
You can be funny again lol, sometimes humour is the only way I can survive :shhh:
-
Hi Girls!
Hi Shayna - hope you got some sleep last night, Ubba is right, if you aren't getting much sleep than it could affect your milk supply, I know mine is less by the evening for sure, it's why I started the FF's in the first place, now I do them every feed as I just don't have enough to fill her tummy!
Hi Ubba - wow jeans, glad you can find some that fit, I'm way too scared to venture into skirts let alone jeans - it's babydoll dresses all the way for me LOL!
Hi Natty - how did V sleep last night? :p
AFM - Wel we had our 2nd 8 hour night in a row and am stoked! I do find I still wake a couple of times expecting her to wake up though, can't win LOL. I think we'll have to try her in her cot tonight, she's gotten too big for the bassinette, this morning she was sideways in it with her head and feet touching either side! I feel sad about going to the cot, hope she doesn't mind it! She's cheeky during the day though, she falls asleep on you easily but the minute you put her down she opens her eyes! She's on DH's chest atm and he moved so she opened her eyes, so he was still there and shut them again!!!! Oh and the girl from work that I have spoken about a lot (the one who complains a lot) had her baby last night. How weird is this, so similar to my story, she was due on the 29th, had her on the 30th (same as me), born at 10.16 pm (Amelia was 10.26 pm), 3.2 kgs (Amelia 3.5 kgs), 51 cms (Amelia 52 cms) and guess what, she also had to have a c-section in the end as she wasn't dialating!!!!!! So bizarre. The crack up is though, she text me this morning and she's already complaining that she only got 1 hours sleep last night and the nurses are noisy......hee hee - get used to it! She had the same OB as me and same hospital, I can just see the nurses trying to change shifts, she will be a nightmare! She called her daughter Georgia Kaitlyn, quite a girlie name considering her herself is quite tomboy, she hates pink too ha ha. DH thinks it's a weird choice given her husband's name is George, he said it would be like us calling Amelia Pauline (his name is Paul). :o Anyway, I have the OB tomorrow for my check up now he's back from holi's and he's across from the hospital so I'll go see her. I bet Amelia will look huge against a newborn!!!!
How is everyone else going, do you find the days all melt into one? I used to look forward to weekends, now I have to ask what day it is ha ha! Oh and DH got a nice wad of cash from a job he did the other day so has said if I want to buy the pram I can.....wahoo....seems like a waste doesn't it but the more I look at it the more I want it!!!!!! I'm such a pram snob LOL.
-
serenity doesnt even sleep in her basinette she sleeps in her bou1ncy chair lol cos its upright 1might try the bassinette tonight
shes been sleeping 7 hrs a night, feeding heaps durig the day been all bf cos i ran out of formula though she had 1some last night cos i went to bed early early with a migrain
-
Hey ladies.
JDMUM - how'd you go?
Natty - V is such a good little girl!! And may i say your new ticker picture melts my heart... nawww soo sweet.
Alison - I agree with your DH. Thats a bit weird having a georgia and a george.. hmm
Ubba - Glad you enjoyed your meetup with your friend. I really need to get out and about. Now that my bestie has moved to melbourne i'm getting extremely lonely.
Mon - 7 hours from S is awesome too! Whatever works i say in regards to the bouncer, haha.
Madame and snowy - hello hello
Well I'm not going to bore you too much with the details. So in short. Grandad is alive. Just. He looks like a skeleton and refuses to eat. He has alzheimer's, a form called luey's body (or something like that), so he has a lot of hallecinations, and goes in and out of them. He tries to talk to you, but he's just soo weak you can't understand anything he tells you. Today my sister and I had to feed him like he was a baby, spoon by spoon. It broke my heart. I told him that i loved him, and he started to cry... :( So then i started to cry. Its very sad. Might sound harsh but i hope he passes on peacefully in his sleep... its just so cruel. We all know he wouldn't want this..
Oookay, on a lighter note. Theo slept 8.5hrs last night. Pity kaili woke twice :wall:
xx
-
Hi Telly - aww your poor grandad, I'm glad he's alive but like you said it's so hard to see them like that and you have to wonder if it's best they pass on peacefully huh. At least you're getting to say goodbye. My nana is 91 and has dementure, she's been in a home for 2 years now and I haven't seen her for 12 months, I really wanted to take Amelia to see her, especially as her middle name (Alice) is my nan's middle name and my great grandmas name but mum said there's no point as she wouldn't have a clue who we are and mum said it's quite depressing as she's so thin and gets moody. She doesn't even know who my mum is and it's her daughter! She just thinks she's some stranger who's visiting. I don't want to get like that. I hope he's ok in whichever journey he takes!
Yay for Theo sleeping 8.5 hours, way to go little man!!!! How much of a difference does it make. And don't worry, I don't have another child to get up to and I still woke up twice in the 8 hours Amelia slept last night, can't win hey!
Hi Mon - you're lucky you have enough breast milk to go without formula, if I did that Amelia would cry the house down in hunger! I feel so crap for only being able to give her a little bit but I guess some is better than none! Hope your migraine has gone, how awful!
-

Hi everyone!!
Quick one before the chaos of the morning starts...
Abbey slept for 7 hours last night!! Wahoo!! I had had enough of her by 10pm and DH bounced her to sleep so she was down from 10:30 - 5:30 - noiccceeee!!! I only woke up in a panic once to run to her room and check she was OK at about 2am....
I had planned to go the gym this morning but I couldnt when she woke up at 5:30 as my boobs were leaking everywhere and she fed for ages....will have to go this afternoon. I am motivated now and feel like a normal person again today....
Sorry for no persi's - will come back later!
xoxox
-
Morning Ladies!
Shayna- Im so happy that Abbey slept all night for you! Babies do that- just as your getting to the end of your rope, they do the right thing and let you sleep. I wouldnt worry too much about missing out on the gym - maybe you can take the kids for a walk instead? Have you got a double pram? or a sling and stroller?
Sarah- Have a lovely time at the beach. I have been a smoker since I was 15. I gave up for my first pregnancy then started again when DD was 2. Then I gave up again for my second pregnancy and started again when DS was 6 months, then I gave up again in November 08 when I fell pregnant again. I miscarried but didnt start up again, really hoping it stays that way. We went to a wedding a few weeks ago and I had a couple of wines - I felt like having a smoke but didnt. I guess what Im getting at is that it is hard to quit and you do get moody when you cant have something you want - a bit like sleep.... I think your DH may have to have a think about his moods ;)
Telly- Sorry about your Grandad, I hope he goes peacfully too. No more fighting or struggling xx You may find that he is holding on for something or someone.
Theo is a star, so is Kaili in her own right <3
Alison- Amelia is doing so well! I know what you mean about getting too big for the bassinette. I bought a bigger one hoping she would be in it for longer but its not looking that way.
In regards to your nan, I would still go and visit her. I work in aged care and mostly work with people suffering all kinds of dementia. As out to it as they seem, I find there is still [I]something[I] there. It really is sad when they dont remember who you but a visit is better than no visit. Most oldies love a baby anyway so you will be doing something wonderful for the other residents too, if not your Nan KWIM? xx
Mon- I get migraines too, when I was a kid I was a gymnast but had to give it up because the tumbling would give me a migraine and I would throw up from them. I mostly get them now if I have been lying on my tummy and looking up (like lying on the floor watching tv), reading in the car/train/bus or watching the car headlights going past. I havnt had one for a couple of months thankfully. Hope the kids are well, Taneisha is just gorgeous, you'll have to keep the boys away from her when shes older although I reckon Mally will take care of that lol!
Kymmy- Archie and Ruby have the same bassinette, how is he in it? Ruby is a bit of a wriggler even though she is swaddled and I find she ends up facing either side but her face is right up against the side. I guess being made of calico she can still breathe through it but it worries the hell out of me. I get a fright when I see her like that and wake her when I move her back to the middle. How are you anyway?
AFM- Ruby had one of the best nights yet! She went to bed at 9.30pm and woke at 1am for a feed then back to sleep til 6am! I was out like a light at 10pm so I got some decent sleep too, although I have been up since 6am so I think I will have a nap on the couch shortly. DD had her first day back at school this morning and I can happily say We got there early AND I even got to have a shower!!
Remember during pregnancy, it is normal to have weird and scary dreams? Well I had one of them the other night and Im not even pregnant! I dreamt that I was at a friends house and we were having a girlie night doing facials and nails etc. Anyway I went to her bathroom to put some things in there and I saw a boy baby about 12 weeks old lying with his face in the basin full of water and legs sticking out. I wrenched him out by his leg and ran down the hall to the kitchen where my friend was. I yelled out 'The baby is dead'! and quickly put him on the table. I started slapping his face and yelling at him to wake up then I gave him mouth to mouth but he wasnt alive.
I dont know why I dreamt this. I can still picture the baby's face in my mind but I dont know who he is and I cant stop thinking about it. It has really upset me.
Sorry to leave you all on a downer, I just really had to get it off my chest, again. DH just thinks Im strange for dreaming it so he isnt a great one to debrief too.
xx

Hey Ubba,
I knew someone in our group worked in aged care, just couldnt remember if it was you or Bondi. How on earth do you do it? It would be heart breaking to see the elder that way.. sometimes life is very cruel. I think with alzheimers/dementia patients, it hurts the families more than the person. But when they have that moment of clarity - they must be shattered themselves :( Have you seen the movie the notebook... oh my lordie... what a sad movie! I got mum to watch it a couple of months ago with me, she walked out crying! Too close to home.
Alison i know how you feel with gma, but i agree with ubba - would be nice for you to visit, if she doesn't recognise you - the other oldies would definately love to see a beautiful baby. I find with my gdad, the smallest things brighten his day. He even seemed to liven up a bit when my cousin from out west called the hospital and talk to the nurses to see how he was going. They passed the message on to him - and he then told me about 5 times in a period of an hour about how don called to see if he was ok! ;) Well tried to, very hard to understand, but i got the drift.
argh anway, gotta go get this ironing done
xx
-
It is a hard job but also very rewarding. I have never walked in to a residents room and found them passed, but I have seen people dying. There was one lady who I absolutely loved. She had alzheimers so didnt remember me from 5 mins to the next but she was just gorgeous. Her name was Grace and she would always give me a big smile when I came in to help her shower in the mornings although she did hit me a few times, it didnt hurt and I realised it was part of her condition. When you think about it, it would be terribly scary having a stranger walk in to your room and start showering you. When it was her time to go, she was in bed and hadnt been eating for 3 days and drinking very little. It was the end of my shift and I was just sitting next to her stroking her hair and telling her it was ok to go. She had tears. She passed away an hour after I left.
I had heaps of favorites and really good times. Some of them used to think I was their sister or best friend (cause at that moment they thought they were in their 20's) and we used to just go along with it. They would reminise and crack jokes and talk about boys they fancied- it was lovely.
All this talk is making me want to go back to work......
Alison - I saw your post on FB, tell us more
-
hey ubba sorry if this is personal you can pm me bout it if you want but what does it take to work in aged care, what does the job involve and does it pay well? i actually had it on my list of jobs i might be interested in when i start heading back into the workforce cos its something i can train to do
i got to school half an hour early this mornin, im so happy mally is in the same room as te two girls he was friends with and i was god friends with there mums...i know what you mean bout mally looking after niesha, he punched someone in the face today
-
Hi Girls - sorry for selfish post, about to eat dinner.....will get back on later for persies.
I'm in shock girls, I saw the OB today, turns out the infection I had was a rare staph infection that got into my amniotic fluid and passed through to the placenta while in labour, it's so rare and so serious that they can't believe Amelia survived. He said if he hadn't done the c-section when he did the results could have been very very different. I can't believe Amelia could've died, it's a very strange feeling and every time I look at her I feel like crying now. Poor little thing. He did say that even though I would have to be extremely unlucky to have that happen again he would suggest going a c-section again next time, although if I want to try and go vaginal I can but I will be considered high risk so probably better to be safe than sorry. He also said he's happy for me to start trying again when Amelia is 8 months old, I was like, cough cough, I think we'll wait a tad longer thanks ha ha! DH wants to start trying when Amelia turns 1!!!!
All this has made me feel so much better about having the c-section and I look at Amelia now and love her even more which I didn't think was possible. I love my OB! He was so sweet, he was cuddling her and telling her how cute she was, he held her the whole time of my appointment - even when I was on the table and he was checking my tummy he was holding her with one hand and feeling my tummy with the other! He even got excited that I still have the line running down my belly, god knows why! I asked if he did lyposuction, he thought I was joking! :o
-
Hi girls,
Just a quick vent...Dh always sets is alarm clock for the middle of the night so he can get up and do work before he goes to work. Although I feel for him, it sucks he is that busy, he NEVER gets up and lets the alarm just keep going until I crack it because Im a light sleeper. Same happened last night and I cracked it and he told me "because you are getting angry you are waking yourself up" WTF?? Im so angry Im going to sleep in th spare room until he says he is sorry and he is on drugs if he thinks Im going to dtd one more time with him when Id rather sleep. so there..
Otherwise Im glad the infection didnt turn sinister for Amelia Alison, what a close call.
Congrats to Abbey for the massive corner she has turned for her mummy!
Im glad your Gramps is ok Telly and I wish there was something more that could be done.
Now V is awake and its 850 so almost 10 hours sleep for her...yay! Yesterday she was up at 430...little trickster!
have a good day ladies, Im off to work to show V off and carch up with some mates..
xx
-
oh natty i wouldve punched him.....but id maybe move him and the alarm clock to the spare room...
so im sick just a cough feeling crap and so far mally and niesha have been coughing but in the last couple days so has hunter....and jose just got home cos the bus was late and just missed his bosses picking him up by a 100 metres
-
Hello everyone!
Been lazy so haven't posted but been reading.
I'll post persies later on.. just wanted to let u all know i'm still alive!
x
-
Hi Girls -I think I'm over the shock of my infection results.....just! I celebrated by going out and looking for another pram today, what a great excuse as I told DH Amelia deserves the best as she almost didn't make it hee hee..... I really like the Steelcraft Strider Plus as it takes a toddler seat, I even like the Steelcraft Strider 4 but it doesn't take a toddler seat - I prefer it as it's a little smaller and over $200 cheaper......just don't know what I'd do if I have another bub in 18 months/2 years without a toddler seat. Any suggestions, should I get one that you can or does it not really matter? Not sure how important they are. DH likes the 3 wheeler Phil & Teds that has a toddler seat at the back but it's only forward facing, you can't have it facing you as well and I want that right now with Amelia - not a huge fan of 3 wheel prams but I could be swayed if they can face me.
Gosh how hard is it!
-
lol you sound just like me, i would suggest one you can add a toddler seat too considering ow soon you want #2 it will make life so much easier, i have a twin one with toddler seat and if i had to go out with everyone alone i would die without it
-
Gee we have been quiet in here lately!
Ali- I am in shock about that infection too, I thought everything was fine. Obviously not. Reading your post made me all teary and made me think of something awful happening to my kids. Anyway Im sure a new pram is just what you need to make you feel better! Just get the one you like for now cause you will probably find another pram you love when the next one comes lol!!
Natty- Dont even get me started on DH alarm clock. It goes off at 4.50am every weekday morning except he doesnt get up until 6.15. He says he needs that long to wake up properly...... FFS I am awake the moment it goes off!
Mon- I will pm you now! Hope the kids are well and Mally is keeping his hands to himself ;)
Kymmy- Hello lazy girl! Hope you are well.
AFM- Ruby has been sleeping in her own room for the past 2 nights. She has woken at around midnight for a feed, then at 5 for her dummy (hehe not really but I give it to her anyway) then she wakes again at 6am for a feed. Its working quite well at the moment, see how long it lasts for though. Im still tired though???
-
Hi Ubba - thank so much, I know, it's really made me realise even more how precious our bubbies are, I just can't bare to think what it would have been like to come home without her, I can't imagine my life without her as it is!!! As for the pram, I'm really torn between getting the one with the toddler seat or as you say going the model down which is $200 cheaper in case I see something down the track I prefer. I just don't know what to do! My mother in law thinks it's silly to buy another one that doesn't take a toddler seat as that will mean I've spent money on two prams and will only end up having to buy something else down the track. Decisions, decisions.
Sounds like Ruby is settling into her cot well! Amelia's been in hers too since Sunday night, the 8 hour nights dropped off after the first night but she's been waking up with either old arms, cold legs or limbs stuck in the slats on the cot lol. I bought a mesh airflow bumper yesterday so that helped last night as she's such a wriggler but this morning she woke at 4.00 am so I put her in our bed and she slept until 6.00 am. I probably should've popped in the dummy and let her go back to sleep in the cot but I didn't think. Will try that tomorrow morning if it happens again. Funny though, I put her down last night and when I went to check on her 20 minutes later she had rolled onto her other side so she is definitely rolling over now, quite funny as it's like houdini, I never see it! ;)
Where is everyone, you're right, they've all gone quiet! Probably all sick of hearing from me who seems to be on every day. lol
-
Nah we love hearing from you!! Im on every day I just dont always post. Actually Im on a few times a day - I cant function without checking FB and BB :o
Ruby is still in her bassinette, just in her room. I want her to get as much use out of her bassinette as I can, I feel like she is growing up too quickly if I put her in her cot now lol!
I have bought a new pram for each of my kiddies, because I have found something better each time. Mind you I havnt ever had to worry about using a toddler seat though. A friend of mine had the Phil & Teds double pram. They are a top brand, I dont really like the look of them though. Im not going to give you any other advice on it though cause I dont want you to hate me if you buy the wrong pram lol!!!
-
ha ha Ubba you and I must have the same taste, DH likes the Phil & Teds double pram ones but I too don't like the look of them. Sounds stupid but I think you have to like how it looks as well as functions hey! I know they're good prams though.....hmm decisions decisions.
-
Just wanna quickly throw in my two cents about your pram choice Alison.. I nearly bought the Strider too cos i really liked the look of it but i spoke to a friend who has one and she absolutely hates hers because it is very big and bulky. She also said that it has a very wide wheel base, which is true, it is wider than mine and mine is pretty wide! But It must be a pretty good pram cos they are very popular, you see them everywhere! I think the kingfisher blue is the colour to go for, for sure.
I'll try to come back for persies later! Been flat tack!! But i still love you all!!!! x x x
-
Hi there! I have been lurking but haven’t had time to really post!
Alison – I cant keep up with your pram talk!!! I think I have said before I have a little $100 one that is super easy to use and doesn’t take up too much room. I keep my expensive 3 wheeler one for walking around to the shop etc at home as it has good suspension for going on rough terrain! Good luck with whatever you choose – sounds like it will be flash!
Sunday night must have been the night to all put them in their cots!! That was Abbey’s first night and I have been pretty good about getting her in there for all of her sleeps. I think wrapping her helps a lot too as I never used to do that before…
Heavenly – I hope you are feeling better now…sux when you are sick and still have to look after the little ones!
Natty – that made me laugh about the alarm clock…what is it with men? They are special creatures all right! I would have punched him after he said about you getting angry and waking yourself up!! Nothing wakes my DH up…he hardly ever hears Abbey crying and I can hear her at the littlest noise!
Telly – I hope your grandfather is doing OK.
AFM – Abbey has been doing OOOKKKKK, went a bit backward last night in waking up twice during the night but other than that she has been giving me between 6 and 9 hours straight sleep (for her – not for me!) and in her own room in her cot so hopefully she keeps it up.
Weighed her yesterday and she is now 5.6kg’s. Put on 200gm in the last week. She is slow but steady compared to some of your little ones….I think the nurses at the clinic are sick of seeing me walk in every Thurs morning with her to weigh her…..anyway, me and my nipple shield friends are still obviously doing OK with the BF…I didn’t think I would last even ½ of this long so it’s all going pretty well.
What are all your ones up to doing now?? Abbey rolls over a fair bit – she’s only gone right over onto her tummy a couple of times but she is always rolling over as far as she can before her shoulder gets in her way. She’s smiling ALL the time now and still putting her hands together in front of her face, talking heaps too which is very cute. She seems to be going through a stage where she doesn’t like me to leave the room without her…she usually has a whinge until I come back so have been carting her around from room to room with me in the bouncy chair to keep her happy.
She has also only been doing number 2’s about once a week – anyone else’s baby doing that too? Doesn’t seem to be bothering her but when she has wind geez it’s enough to knock you out it smells that bad!
Enough rambling from me!
xoxoxo

Hi Girls! ha ha my pram talk has got everyone talking. lol
Hi Kymmy - thanks for the feedback on the Strider, it's funny as two of the girls in my mothers group have them and love them. I guess it comes down to personal taste. I know 2 people with the pram I currently have and love it, I hate it. The Strider is wide, I've measured to make sure it fits through doorways and it does, I didn't find it heavy but it does look bulky - I have a big car so there's no problems getting it into the back of that, it's more the weight but with the carriage off the base it's about the same as the one I have which is fine. Any heavier and I'd be saying no, the Valco was nice too but it was heavier than the Strider so can't do that with my crappy shoulders and neck. I have tried to find the one you have Kymmy but I can't find it anywhere, Toys R Us have a big sale on but they don't have it either, isn't that where you said you bought it? I can't even remember which one you got now but I remember looking when you first mentioned it. My thing is I want to get one that takes a toddler seat as we'll be having them close together hopefully....I don't like the mountain buggy type ones as you can't have them facing you.
Hi Shayna - Amelia is rolling over from side to side like Abbey too :D When I put her in her cot at night I come in the next day and she's facing the other way, it's quite funny. I've never actually seen her do it though. Even in her kick n coaster this morning I noticed she rolled onto her side from her back so it looks like I can't get away with not strapping her in anymore! God how quick do they grow, it's scary!
AFM - Amelia slept 9 hours last night, wa hoo! I'm sure it won't last but after the last few being 6.5 hours it's as nice change. We did have a big day yesterday though and she was grumpy as last night, she was not herself at all and was very whingey and took a little while to fall asleep but she ended up going down eventually but missed her last feed. I was expecting her to wake up at 3.00 am hungry but nope! I am having problems BF'ing though, the first morning feed is great but for the rest of the day she's pulling off my boob........I don't know if it's because I have no milk or because she's gotten too used to the bottle, she's not even interested if I put the shields on....or could be a combo of both, I don't know what to do it's really stressing me out!!! I don't want to give up BF'ing altogether. One of the girls in mothers group is having the same problem as me so she can only feed her baby her milk if she expresses it into a bottle - she also does formula feeds. I feel so annoyed you know, I don't formula feed because I want to but I just have to as I've not got enough milk. I'm wondering if it's time to go on the drugs to get the milk back? I can see my boobs getting smaller by the day and I'm not ready to give up bigger boobs yet as I'm small chested so have enjoyed having a C cup for a change! lol

Hi ladies pls excuse the lack of punctuation as V is asleep on me lol.
Long time no type!! I have been reading but not tping as Im tending to have my hands full of baby in my websurfing time lol. Even now V wants to be held otherwise she is only napping during the day which is ok with me cause she is now pretty much doing 11 till 9 give or take. Funnily tho I feel a lot tireder which is wierd but ill still take the sleep! Oh and I am still on strike and in the spare bed, its my old one so very familliar and comfy and Im sleeping well. DH and I havent spoken about it either but Im not giving in without us talking about it. Sleep is sacred to me and I dont ask for anything except to be able to when I can....He went out last Sat and got so drunk and slept all Sun I could have killed him...I didnt say anything tho because I was being nice and even encouraged him to go have a break...from what i dont know lol...What a turd!
Alison, i have a 3wheeler and love it except she cant face me and she hates it lmao.
Hi everyone, im too lazy and my arm hurts from typing one handed boohoo

Hey ladies,
I'm still here too. Just find it hard to type. But i do read!
Alison i'm with shayna - i got an expensive pram with DD and never used it. I got an umbrella pram for 200 bucks (so it was one of the better ones) and i FLOG it! Can't believe i wasted so much money on an expensive pram in the first place. The smaller ones are the best imo. ALso i don't have a two seater pram - i just use the baby bjorn for theo, and kaili sits in the trolley. Makes my life too easy!
Natty- lucky girl! Cant wait to see your avy! I've told DH that for mothers day this year i want a bb subscription! haha. Obsessed? yes. He better get it for me too, i've just spent 650 bucks on a f-n FISHING ROD for the birthday :o Men and fishing.. wtf?
Kymmy hows your little man going? Does he got back for xrays or anything? hope all is well at your house. hows brit going now that her pony has gone?
Ubba - good to hear ruby is sleeping well. i wish theo would take a dummy - absolutely hates it, gags and carries on like a porkchop when i try to give him one.
Shayna - Theo is rolling onto his side. Not completely over either. He rolled from his belly to his back once - but it was just fluke i think! He is now chuckling quite a bit too!! Soooo adorable. I got it on video the other day, so i've been watching it over and over. haha. He puts his hands in his mouth, and sucks sucks sucks. Pulls his shirt up to his mouth too and sucks sucks sucks, so he almost always has a big wet patch on his clothes from the saliva.
AFM - i lost another 900 grams this week. Wasn't too big a loss, because i kinda went wild over the weekend, redrooster, surf and turf.. icecream. lol. But i'm still happy with that, its basically a kg! Now i've lost 5.3kg! And my pants are feeling comfortable - which i'm stoked about! Counting from when i was preg with theo, i've lost 14kg! (he was 4.5 born tho. lol) Definately heading the right way!
DD started music lessons today! Its called kindermusik. She absolutely loved it! Dancing, singing, and basic instruments with kids her own age! I think it will get her ready for school too, becuase she has to sit and listen to the teacher, hehe. Was very adorable to watch. $250 for the term, which i think is reasonable. She's also started level one in swimming lessons, which means i no longer have to get in the pool with her!! Sooo stoked about that one! No more looking like a beached whale every wednesday morning! haha
I hope you're all well :)
