hey hj, i was thinking of doing the Bachelor of Midwifery to but at Newcastle Uni. They are apparently starting the course next year. How hard is it? I mean how full on is it and would i be able to cope with 5 kids :( Congrats on being on the down ward slope lol. I used to love to feel the baby kicking (not so much when it was in the vjj or the ribs tho lol). Re the tanties I just used to walk off and tell them to follow me. They did when they couldn't see me anymore and they didn't get the reaction they wanted.

Hi all,
Little Miss V had been unwell yet again, but this time with gastro. It went through the whole family. Anyway she is doing better now, but the older two DD's have decided to bring home the dreaded flu from school, so now have to contend with that and keep it away from V.
Didi - Not sure if I congratulated you on the birth of your precious little Boy Nate, so congratulations hun. Have fun in Canada hun. hugs
Leigh - Lexie is just tooo cute. hugs
HJ - Yay for being 26wks, good work hun, your doing really well. How is little M going? I love little V's tantrums, she lays herself on the floor and quietly sobs. lol. Its really cute, especially after having kids that kick their legs back and fourth with their tantys. lol. Actually Im sure she is starting to call everyone idiots, I actually thought I was hearing things yesterday, and of course she has picked it up from the kids. She got upset with one of them and called them "i e ot". lol, as I am also gasping in shock.
Crystal wings - Yay for hitting 14wks, lol about the terrible twos. The tanties are the first sign. lol
Kim - Now GL with TTC, fingers crossed when you do, that you end up with a little boy, lol. Im still waiting to find out what I am having to say whether or not the family has turned into the brady bunch. lol. 3boys and 3girls. So you need the same. DH is running out of room on his lap, with all the girls filling it up. GL and lots of baby dust, whether boy or girl, such a wonderful blessing either way. Would you like any or would you prefer boy or girl?
SS - GL with TTC too hun, have everything crossed for you. Sending lots of baby dust your way.
Well as you can see, I am almost 20wks. Woohoo. Will have another u/s on the 31st so will know then with anyluck what we are having. hugs all.

Wow nearly 20 weeks already csab. Fingers crossed that you get the boy you need to even out the family. That is what I need to lol but if we end up with another girl then it doesn't matter really.
Atm Meara is not very well. Not only does she have the type 1 diabetes but she is suffering from a temp and cough and now wheezing. I have dosed her to the gills with panadol and dimetapp and used the nebuliser with the asmol. Hopefully all the medicine works and soon.

Kim - I hope Meara gets well soon, poor thing. Ive been trying to dose up the two dd's but doesnt seem to be having an impact on one of them. Heard Little V cough in the morning so Im going to have to give her more doses of the ventolin and flexitide, to fight it. Ohhh the joys. I keep popping in to the oldies thread, but more checking up on everyone in there. Only occassionally I post. So know that I am keeping an eye on your progress hun, along with Angelicdragon. hehehe. Have everything crossed. I actually cant believe Ive practically hit half way, just 2more days. It isnt going to matter if we have another girl, but would be nice for a boy. Will find out with any luck in a few weeks time.

Thanks csab. It turns out Meara had viral pneumonia which triggered an asthma attack and also disrupted her sugar levels. We have just spent the last 2 days in hospital as Meara needed oxygen and they needed to monitor her sugar levels. We have finally come home but need to monitor her closely. So that means interrupted sleep every 4 hours while i give her some ventolin not to mention the 11pm and 3am blood sugar checks. Oh well who said we mums need sleep lol.

Well typing again lol. I have been very emotional lately and starting to crave very different foods lol. At the moment I am cooking (from scratch) french onion soup!!!! Of course it is all to soon to be pregnant but there is that little niggle in the back, well ok the very front of, my mind that it might be related lol (wishful thinking I'm sure :) )

Ok ladies, have queasy tummy, cups of tea and coffee and most fruit juice tastes very chemically. Can only drink orange juice and water. Have had some cramps in the tummy. I hope this is not my mind playing tricks on me as still have a way to go before I can test. I might have O'd earlier than I thought :)

It could be our month SS. I'm trying not to let it do my head in but nearly every thought is pg orientated lol. It is so weird tho that I'm going off certain things. I'm wanting sweet stuff but end up with savoury. And french onion soup!!!!! Never had an inkling about wanting that before lol. Made a carrot cake last night and just didn't want it. I think it would be a miracle if I was utd this month as we only got to do it once lol. Maybe he had super swimmers and my eggie was super fertile :) only time will tell.

Kim and SS, fingers crossed this is the month for you girls. Kim your symptoms sound promising and as they say it only takes one time for it to happen. When is your period due? Do you usually test early? I can't wait to hear the news.
Hollye, Lara is entering the terrible 2's as well. She throws some shocking tantrums at times. You are a weight loss machine, well done. How have you done it? Weight watchers or anything?
I don't have much to report, only that Lexie has a cold now, DH has been really sick and now it seems like Lexie has caught it, poor little bub, I hate seeing her like this.

Still a bit nauseous in the mornings, tummy is crampy, still off certain foods and then want them lol, back ache. Boobies feel fuller (may be my imagination :) ) I hope it is pg symptoms but could also be virus. Tried to test today but way to early lol so got bfn. Don't have any more left lol so will have to wait now until I can buy some more.
Meara has been in the terrible 2's for ages lol. Although I have to admit she is not to bad. Very stubborn but not many tanties :)
Leigh - hope Lexie gets better. I hate it when they get sick too

Update - went to dr's about my throat and he prescribed penicillin and he seems to think my tummy and queasiness is another virus :( so will wait until AF is due to arrive and if she doesn't then I will test.
My DS2 has been diagnosed with chicken pox so thankfully most of us here have already had it or been vaccinated against it. Poor boy though he is so itchy and is trying so hard not to scratch. He has been having baths with the pinetarsol, using the calamine lotion but the chemist also recommended a spray called Soov. It has an anaesthetic in it so really helped to stop the itching. It hasn't helped that he has ulcers all over his tongue again either.
I am just waiting for this year to end and then we can start afresh in the next one

Well guess what?????? I did a test this morning (couldn't wait any more) and got a very, very, very faint line. So faint in fact that I thought I was seeing things lol but it was a tester that wasn't an early tester. I just went and bought a FR and did it again and again got a very faint line 8/ I think I may be utd. To double check I will do another test tomorrow morning to see if the line is any darker. Woo hoo #6 (quietly optimistic lol)

Kim, my fingers are crossed for you. That sounds very promising. I can't wait to hear the news after you test again tomorrow. When is your AF due? How is your son going with the chicken pox? When I got them I got a really bad case and had them down my throat, on my tongue and in between my fingers and toes as well as all over my body....soooo itchy.
Csab, how are you going? Did you find out the sex of your bub?

ahhh how funny KIm! SNAP!! I did the exact same thing today!! Im a day late today, did a crystal clear test this morning with FMU and a VERY faint line, so faint that DP refuses to believe its real :(
so I went out and bought some first response ones, used one as soon as I got home, BFN , but will test again tomorrow with FMU, trying to be positive but dont want to get my hopes up too much....

Leigh - How cute is Lexie, just gorgeous. Hope all is well ith your family hun. All is ok on my end. So sick to death of all the Dr's appts though, seem to be at the hospital for the checkups every week. I have my u/s next week on Tuesday, as last time they couldnt tell what bub is. So hopefully bub is good and shows us, lol. I cant believe how quickly time is going. Way too fast. hugs

Sorry ladies was really busy this morning but I did test and ........... GOT ANOTHER LINE. I think it was as faint as yesterday but DF reckons he could see it better so I guess that this means I'm officially UTD :)
Leigh - AF not due until Friday so I might keep testing until then lol. DS's chicken pox are finally going thank god. He mainly got his on his face and in his hair with some on his body.
SS - how wonderful. We might end up buddies in the May group. That would be excellent. Hope you can see it clearer today, fingers crossed for you.
csab - hope bubs behaves him/herself and you can find out what you are having. If not it will be a nice surprise ;)

hmmm, well, I dont know whats going on with me, I did a test this morning with fmu but still just a so faint im not even sure its there line :( oh well, 2 days late now, feeling some cramping but no AF?? will just have to wait and see I guess....

I actually threw the first one that I did yesterday out as the line was so faint that I thought I was seeing things lol. I also did one during the night and got a BFN so work that one out :/ This is our month SS and you have a line too WOO HOO WEEEEEEEEEEE YEEHAAAAAAAAAA That puts us in the May group for next year. Excellent

started last month Leigh but I don't think we got around to DTD at all lol. So yes very lucky to have fallen so quickly. Stupid FS (when I was an egg donor) told me that I was to old and my eggs to old as well. That showed him lol

yay kim, a line is a line, you too Star, sending lots of sticky vibes and for those BFP's to get darker. I got my BFP straight away and we werent even trying, lol. DH was just abit unprotective, the month we fell. lol. So you just never know, it only takes one, and Kim for us oldies we did pretty well, I think. lol

A line is definatley a line. When I fell preganant this time i had the faintest line and when i had cramping and they tested me for an eptopic it was at night and they said that i wasn't even pregnant! Good luck to you both.

Ohhhhhh feel so sick. Morning sickness has kicked in already (so probably a girl) and I'm so tired. Will arrange to go to the dr in the next week or so. It's not so urgent. He will do a urine test and tell me yup you're pregnant again!!! I'm getting lots of cramping though and I can't remember ever getting that. Maybe there is twins 8/

It doesn't mean you aren't pg SS just that the tests can't pick it up yet. I know some women who have had to confirm it with a blood test as the urine tests didn't work. And you got one (faint I know) the other day. Try again tomorrow and if still no bfp then make appointment with your dr for blood test.
Leigh - I have done 5 tests lol and they all say the same thing. I think I can safely assume that I'm UTD :)

Starry, bugger about the bleeding. What you've just experienced happened to me the mth before I fell pregnant with Lara so fingers crossed you will get a bfp in a mths time.

woooo! lucky Mia! im being a slacker this year and just having family and VERY close friends. After the debacle of last years organizing that Huuuge party, food etc, then Jacob getting sick, then no party happening, I just couldnt be bothered! LOL.
