Just a really quick one - all went well with my scan - and we didn't find out what we are having! we are going for another surprise!
hj - glad everything went well with your scan. I loved having a surprise with Lexie but had the strongest feeling the whole time she was another girl. Do you have a feeling as to what you're having?
hj - glad to hear everything was ok at the scan. Good on you for going for a surprise, would love to do that if I get that far lol.
Leigh - I too knew I was having a girl without any tests lol isn't it amazing what our bodies can tell us?

Not much happening here atm. We are going to check out a caravan tomorrow for eldest DD. Hope it is ok (looks good on ebay lol) and DD likes it (eye roll). Other than that i'm looking forward to the weekend getaway with my mum and sister.

Just bumping us back up the top lol. I went and looked at that caravan and it is a nice neat little one but I do mean little. It will do Sarah for a bedroom though. We are still currently the highest bidders but we still have hours to go. Oh well if we don't win we still have until Feb next year to find one.

Kim, that's good news about the caravan, you must be happy. Lexie is going well. She is 4wks old tomorrow already, it has gone so fast. They don't stay little for long do they, it's depressing! We took her to the dr yesterday for a check up & she now weighs 3.4kg which is good. I can definitely tell she's starting to chub up & fill out her clothes a bit more. Both my dad & my sister arrive today which I'm excited about & the inlaws tomorrow, which I'm not so excited about lol. We've got a wedding to go to on Saturday, god knows what I'm going to wear. I've been expressing my milk so I can have a couple of drinks.

Leigh - that's great that Lexie has put on so much weight. I had a giggle about the in laws lol. There's one thing that can't happen to me, David's family live in England so no visits for us woo hoo. We actually missed out on that caravan but a girlfriend has found one for us that is even better. Yay for karma. Going to see it in person on Saturday.
Things are still ok here. I do have to go and see Sarah's school counsellor next week though so will see how long that lasts :/ Omg I couldn't believe it, eldest DS has nits again!!!!!! He is the only one that gets them. Wish I knew which friend it was of his that has them cause I would wash his hair in the nit stuff myself grrrrrrrrr hate mums that ignore it.

Kim - yay on finding a better caravan :) Why do you have to see Sarah's councellor? That sucks about your DS's nits... it just takes one mother that doesnt care and everyones kids gets them, it would **** me off too. Im hoping DD doesnt get nits when shes goes to kindy and school. Her hair is so thick and long, it would be a nightmare trying to ger rid of them.
AFM - not much new here. Moving house next friday, so been pretty busy packing etc. Mia is great, shes such a crack up lol! She can now count to 10 and say the alphabet :) Shes growing up so fast!! Whos bubs are still in a cot? Mia is.. i was thinking about turning it into a toddler bed in the next couple months, but im not too sure. She does fine in her cot and has never climbed out of it, so some people tell me just to leave the cot side on.... She also still sleeps with a dummy.. wanting to get rid of it soon. Anyone elses bub still have a dummy?
Ive just noticed Didi's ticker!! Shes given birth to a little boy 2 days ago!! YAY!! congrats!!!
Holly, Lara is still in a cot and has a dummy for sleep as well. I am going to keep her in her cot until she is 2, that's what age I shifted DD1 into a bed. Lexie will get the cot once Lara is out of it. I don't think Lara is ready for a bed yet, she tosses and turns in her cot like crazy. I will get rid of the dummy a few wks once she's settled into a bed. Good luck with your move. i hate packing and unpacking!
Kim, you're so lucky your inlaws are overseas, I am soooo jealous lol. God nits would drive me nuts too. I am paranoid that DD1 is going to get it at school.
Im bloody sick with tonsilitis now. i had it while pregnant and had antibiotics and just phoned the chemist and theyre safe to take while breastfeeding, hope they kick in soon. We've got a wedding on Saturday.
Hi everyone! Its been awhile again, sorry, but I have news! I am now TTC #2 !!! YAY!! finally things between me and dp are looking great, everything seems to be falling in to place at last.
Its only the first month of trying and to be honest I havent tried all that hard LOL, would be VERY surprised if we got lucky this month..
Jacob has been sick with tonsilitis, the poor kids throat was so sore he wouldnt eat, drink or take BFs, he didnt feed for 36hrs!! My poor boobies were killing me, I had also lent out my breast pump (cos I never use the thing!) so had to hand express in the shower which didnt work too well...
Doc put him on ABs, he is now back to his happy self but want to be permantley attatched to my boobs, now they hurt as theres not much in there!
Of course now that he is better I have come down with a head cold, so feeling like utter crap atm.
Hollye- Jacob hasnt had a dummy now for about a month, he just forgot about it! I ddnt do anything really, just put him to bed one night without it as I couldnt find the silly thing. He is also still in the cot, LOL, well, not really, he mainly sleeps wth us! Have a bed ready to go, just have to pick it up from SILs place.
Didi- Congrats, hope you have your bubba with you real soon, looking forward to hearing how its all going.
Leigh- hope youre feeling better soon, being sick sucks.

woohoo for TTC SS!! This is my 7th month with no such luck as of yet :( nice to know your on the bandwagon too :) great to hear things are so good between you and DP, that in itself has just made my day :) Poo about DS being sick... glad hes all better now :)xoxo
Thank you for those you dont know I had Baby Nate.. 4 days ago.. he was helicoptered to Royal Womens ASAP and got back today..
he is doing much better

He is learning how to feed.. I will give breasfeeding a go for 2 months and I hope he gets it by then.. I wont give in to formula though.. he needs the best immune system!

Mia is great still.. getting into just everything she can get her hands on. She has a doc appointment on monday.. her excema (sp?) is driving us all abit nuts, so going to see if I can get a different cream for it.

didi - Congratulations on baby Nate and good on you for sticking with the breastfeeding. Do they know why he was having trouble breathing?
Well i'm officially 12wks now and am feeling good but it's a much different pregnancy. I'm pretty big already, have bad gas pains and am very tired which is alot different from Olive. Maybe it's a boy?? I haven't had a dating scan but according to my dates I should be due around the 6th of feb.
Olive is so grown up now. Speaking in full sentences and as of the past 2 days fully toilet trained bar a few accidents. She has been interested for ages but has just decided herself that she wants to which suits me fine. If only we could get the sleep happening abit better. She is very cute with my tummy and says "Mumma baby in tummy, be very gentle. Olive baby tummy" and strokes both of our bellies:)
Leigh - hope you are feeling better now, did you make it to the wedding?
Hollye - Olive has never had a dummy but is so facinated by them you'd think she has! she is always saying where's the babies dummy?" when she sees a baby in the street. She has been out of the cot for ages but i probably would have kept her in there longer if she liked it more. Well done with your weight loss, whats been your secret?

Wow didi, congratulations on little Nate. Hope he is ok soon and able to come home with you. Like the others I'm interested in why he wasn't breathing properly. Was it to do with the c/s??
Hollye - Meara has never had a dummy but she does still sleep in the cot. We have a toddler bed that was Kaylees that she can go in later but she is happy enough where she is. She is also self toilet training and while we still have accidents she is getting so much better at realising when she has to go.
Sorry can't remember who asked about eldest DD's counsellor appointment but I have to see him as he thinks she may be dyslexic. I just think she is playing him like all the others. She can read well enough when she wants to but now that he has said that she is playing even more dumb than usual grrrrrr teenagers.
Not much else going on atm so will be back on later to maybe catch up

CW - woo hoo on reaching 12 weeks. Can't wait until we are utd again (well maybe I can grrrrr the kids are playing up something shocking) although I think I didn't ovulate this month as I have been testing but maybe I missed it.
just thought Id let you ladies know, AF showed up so no BFP for me this month, not that I was really expecting it, but hey, positive thinking never hurts, yeah?!
sooo, TTing, I have been a bit slack in that I havent even bought J a potty yet, he is fascinated by the toilet, loves flushing it, but wont sit on it, have tried a few times, nope, not interested.
He doesnt get much nappy free time either, being so freaking cold here lately! hmmm...maybe its a summer thing I should be working towards. any hints or tips from you lovely ladies?
SS - I haven't started TT here yet either, although DS has started telling me he has done poos and tapping his nappy, even when he does wees :) so I am thinking about buying a potty or toilet seat in preperation to start. Timing isn't great though with a new bubba about to arrive any time now. Good luck with TTC :D

Wow didi, Nate lost heaps of weight. Were the medical staff worried about it??? Only 3 weeks until Canada 8) will Nate be ok to travel by then? Hope he improves in leaps and bounds. How are you coping with 3 littlies now? Sorry for all the questions lol.
SS it might be next month is the month for the both of us. Fingers crossed. AF arrived 4 days early for me this month :/ not sure what is happening there.

Saw my DD1's school counsellor and his term dyslexia is not what i imagined. He used it to describe that Sarah is having trouble reading multi syllable words. Therefore she is not comprehending what she is reading. We have known about this for ages but she was resistant to any help. Now of course that it is bringing her additional attention she wants the help grrrrrr. Also he thinks that her eating disorder is playing havoc not only with her body but her brain. So he wants to send her to a psychologist that specialises in teenagers and eating disorders so we can work out what is just her and what is health related. He said she is a very complex bunny lol.

Kim, I'm still here, haven't had a chance to reply. Everytime I get on the computer for a bit of quiet time either Lara plays up or Lexie starts crying, can't win sometimes. Fingers crossed you fall pregnant this month. Do you use opk's or anything to predict when you will ovulate?

I have to take Lexie to get a scan on her hips tomorrow to make sure she doesn't have hip dysplasia. Apparently breech babies are at higher risk and they all have to have a scan at 6 wks. Im praying everything will be fine. She will have to wear a harness to correct it if she does and it will break my heart.

Yes I have had my baby. Shani Violet arrived on Monday 2nd Aug at 10:53am. 8pd9 (3.9kg) and 52cm long at 39w. I had a natural birth with only gas and no stitches yay. We came home after 24hrs and she is going really well, bfing perfectly and is much loved by her big brother. He calls her Nani and wants lots of cuddles which is so cute.
A huge congrats kylie. Love her name and how cute is Logan.
SS - this is our month I feel it lol
Leigh - I haven't been using any aids so far as I have always fallen naturally so will wait at least 6 months (hopefully I don't have to ;) ) until I see if I need to use them. If that makes sense. Hope little Lexie is fine at her scan.
didi - how are things going?? Are you packing yet for Canada lol?? How is little Nate doing now? I know more questions from me lol but you need to answer them ;)
We had to call a plumber this morning as we had a blocked drain again. OMG how much do they charge!!!!! Was going to pay the rego on the tarago but think now it will have to wait. Sarah is now saying she will do year 10 at school if we let her go back to her old school. She is doing so well at her new one but I think if we want her to finish school we might have to let her. Will decide later in the year.

Well I took Lexie for her hip scan yesterday and everything is normal, I was so relieved that she doesn't have hip dysplasia.

Hey kim!! Yuppers packing for Canada.. getting Nate his passport etc..
He is such a brilliant baby i cant say enough.. i guess third time lucky!!!! No dummy yet... he just cries 5 times then puts himself to sleep.. very very good.. If he ends up with a dummy least of my worries.. but its amaizing how much more confident I am this time around.
Nate is doing fab though.. growing... feeds every 4-6 hours through the night.. so I am very very lucky..
ITs summer in Canada I cant wait to get there!!!! SO SO FUN!!!!!!

Well Olive just had a major tanty down the street cause she wanted to go in her pram and have a bottle - 2 hrs before sleep time - so we had to come home and she is fast asleep. Hope she is ok and not getting sick as it's not like her at all to behave like that.

I really feel like i'm having a boy this time and boys names are so hard.

Sooooo sorry i haven't been posting! i have been checkin up on you all but this semester of Uni is pretty full on so i have been trying to stay in front as i have this feeling Spud is going to come early! so im trying to get all 28 assignments done as soon as possible!
i am not almost 26wks and am already feeling way uncomfortable! and Spud just dosent stop kicking!
