Sassy- dont let the nurse say anything to you about how your feeding. Mas is getting his food and is gaining weight so thats the main thing. Your doing whats best for him!!

DP and I got Ebs "my first toybox" it has about 6 toys, a activity table and a tummy timr mat, from my sister (tk) she got a sit me up elmo, some toys, clothes, from my other sister she got books, my parents got her a fair few things, books, toys etc....

Hope everyone had a merry xmas.

Ebs now weighs 5.96kg! probably 6kgs now. Yay!!! she is getting so cheeky.... cooing , smiling just being cheeky. Love her to bits, she has made me so happy!!

retro: i had looked at the my first toy box but DD had a similar version of all the toys so i didnt see the point. much with all the toys i looked at lol.

mini: i think it was u that wrote about the mirena. I got mine put it just after my 6 week check up. it hurt a little gettin it in just like period pain but that said it hurt a little more then usual for me cause i had a bit of scare tissue up there from after having mas. i had 1 day of light period pain and 3 days of spotting and since then i have had 2 or 3 days of really light spotting. some people say their DH can feel the string when DTD and have to get them cut a bit shorter but we havnt had any trouble with it. i feel so much better after gettin it in. also it only sends the hormone that stops ya gettin preg in the small area not ur whole body like the pill. if u decide to get it out u can just get it taken out at the doc.

to everyone that has gone to formula dont feel bad its better then stressing that ur bub isnt gettin enough. i was so upset when i decided to put mas on formula i tried going back to BFing twice but it just upset his tummy so once it kept happening i felt alot better with my decision of puttin hiim on formula because it wasnt hurting him like my milk was.

mas is gooing and garring all the time now and gets up a little giggle, esp when he has done a poo and i change his nappy liek he is saying sucked in mum lol.

Started toilet training jayda yesterday and she is doing so well so far.

Hey girls we are back from camping. Had a fab time. Congrats to those babies who are rolling. I dont think Amy is near ready after spending the past 2 weeks either in the pram or in someones arms so she wouldnt get ants/bullants/scorpians or any other bug on her! She slept in her sisters room in the cot last night for the first time. She did well and slept from 9pm til just before 6am. Shes asleep again now in our bed... I went to the supermarket at 6am!
Hope all is well x o

Happy 2011 everyone! I realised the other day it has been ages and ages since I have been in here. I hope everoyne had a great christmas with their bubs and their families and 2011 has started off well.

Things here are going great, we had a lovely relaxing christmas and new year. We have just spent 5 days down south with DH's mum and that was fantastic (other than Liam and I both having a day of gastro while we were away).

Kate is going great guns, she is feeding and sleeping like a champ- generally sleeping between 5-9 hours overnight, depending on how much sleep/ feeding she has done during the day. I haven't had her weighed in a while, but we measured her the other day and she is 64 cms. She has just moved out of our room and the basinette and into her cot in her own room, the transistion went really well. We have also started a sleep routine in her room with her, and it is working really well- she can generally settle herself of to sleep with us just sitting in there with her.

I have just started back with my personal trainer this week ( I do group out door training) and it feels excellent to be back into some proper excercise, I was a bit sore after my kickboxing session on Friday, and I did some cardio this morning and I think I might feel a bit sore tomorrow, but it feels like I haven't lost too much fitness over my pregnancy. I am also thinking about starting yoga in an attempt to get my core muscles in better condition.

Anyway I hop everyone is doing well, and staying out of the heat/ rain or whatever whether mother nature is throwing at you. Looking forward to hearing everyone's news

Wow... its so quiet in here. I hope that means youre all busy with your little babies and everyone is doing well. We are going fine. Amy is mostly sleeping through the night from about 830 til 630, but the last 2 nights she has woken for a feed around 3am. She still sleeps a lot. I retried her on the boob but it didnt work in that she would still pull on and off, so bottle it is. After seeing Ali's pics on fb of Kate laying on her tummy up on her arms, I had to do sonething with Amy, who still loves to just lay on her tummy and suck her fists! Shes lifting her head a little bit more and thats with 1 week of constant tummy time post feed. Shes not rolling yet... I think dd2 rolled at 3.5months. DD1 didnt roll as she was in a pavlik harness for her hips. I still havent got AF back and am not on any form of contraception. Any ideas on when she will rock up? Some times I think shes coming then the feeling passes! Cant complain though!

Well, take care all x o

Not rolling here yet, A is wiggling a lot and when she has nappy free time or in the bath she kicks like crazy, she's like a little frog DD1 didn't roll until almost 14 months, but she had hypermobility and needed a heap of physio to help her.

Sleeping up to 12 hours at night I never thought it was possible, but some nights she wakes for a feed, but will generally sleep in longer if she does that. She is really long, so guessing she has that from DH, not me I'm average height , putting on weight, slowing down now to about 100grams a week, but she is moving and wiggling more so not at all concerned

I haven't seen the witch yet, and have been wodnering if should would come back as I only occassionally feed overnight. With DD1 it didn't come back until I had weaned off the Motilium (which i read later was a supressent for AF), so I have no idea what will happen this time. Sorry I can't help Mini, its just one of those things....... When did it happen with your other DD's

She is 4 months old in a few days, I just can't believe it, she is growing soo quickly

:waves: hello!! sorry I haven't been around lately...
Eboni is going great guns still!! goes to sleep between 8.30-10.30pm and wakes between 6-8 sometimes earlier. She doesnt really wake for a feed during the morning but when she does it stuffs me about as i'm not used to doing it.... she is a great sleeper now, very cheeky!! So chubby! its funny she has rolls everywhere... she weighs 6.69kgs (she is 2kgs and abit less then her cousin who is 14mnths older) I just love her to bits!! she has started fanging on her fingers..

With sposie nappies which are you using?? I've used huggies which i dont mind, but I just want to try others. atm im trying coles nappies (with those gumnut people on them) so far they are okay.... I sound like a cheap skate... i said to DP this morning i want to try different ones as incase we cant afford boxes of huggies all he said was you can buy huggies in the bags... arrgghh men!.

Hoping all mummas and bubbas are doing well!!

beema- I stopped bf my other girls and went on the pill so by 10 weeks old af arrived.

Retro- I have to use huggies with Amy as she is a huger wetter. With my other 2 I used Aldi and had no issues. Amy leaks with those and with baby love. So far I havent had any issues with huggies, just that they are heaps more expensive, so am buying in bulk when on special. I just got them for $29.95 a box from foodworks.

    TripleJ when are you moving?

How come you have to post 3 times in a row? Is that including fb? It must be scary having to move with 2 kids...do you have any supports..like your mum to look after them while your moving? Maybe you could go to the local newsagent and see what they do with their unsold papers? Or maybe the butchers?

I finally have a new avy, only took me nearly 4 months
I jsut changed my background and Keike did the "Me/A/N?Firefly who is a butterfly "

Mini are you going to get one?

I would try the butchers as well for paper, i think with the newsagents they just have to cut out the barcode to return them, but I am not 100% on that.
