Babies born~October 1st-15th 2008 #10

Well I'm so glad to hear that it's not just my nearly 3 year old that has turned into a monster!

MOI - We never needed to night TT BJ. He just stopped weeing in his nappy and started calling out to us that he needed to go. We put nappies on him for another couple of months anyway but he never needed them. We never needed to do a thing. BJ also had a few accidents at Kindy when he never had them at home. They do just get distracted I think

ZARAVA - Yeah Eden is doing great thanks. He's growing way too fast that's for sure!

BELFIE - I'm a pro at this weight loss thing lol. Unfortunately I've done it many of times. I'm following the WW pro points though I'm not using the extra BF points. I tried it earlier on when Eden was around 2 months and found I wasn't losing weight. So this time I've dropped those points and are just eating the points that anyone would. Ive lost 4kgs in 3 weeks, due to weigh again on Tuesday. I'm back at the gym too. Doing 3 cardio sessions & 2 body balance. Just lovin it! Back to my old ways :)

How are we all, how are the LO's going?

We booked Ava in for 3yr old kinder and have paid her fee's and she can't wait, she points every time and says "thats my kinder next year".

Moi - How is M going in the 3yr old room?

We still do need to organise a melb catch-up, maybe after all the birthday's have settled down and the weather is nicer we can do a park play date or something?

How is everyone?

A is good, still about the same with TTing, she was sick a couple of weeks back and having the runs really put her off :( but were working our way through it :)
She's talking quite well and can now write AVA and DAD on her own :crying: counting and letter recognition have gone backwards but i think thats because she is bored and sick to death of me trying to make sure Z is keeping up aswell.
She is so active and quick that i really think kinder is going to work wonders for her, she needs that stimulation to stop getting so antsy i think :)

There's not all that much happening with BJ. He's just a little turd! Such a typical boy. It's amazing to see the difference between girls (my sisters 3) and boys and the way they behave. He is always in time out cause of some stupid thing he's done. He's still a gentle kid and they tell me at kindy that he's so placid & gentle, I'd hate to see what the other boys are like lol. He still goes to kindy on Tuesday's, and still loves it

He is mad for Transformers. Gosh, it's his life at the moment. He has about 5 of them and can convert them to and fro. Not the basic level 1 ones, the level 3 ones, for 5yrs +. He does a great transformers robot impersanation (sp?). It's hilarious

He turned 3 at the end of last month and we had a simple family get together at my inlaws house. We bought him a new big boy bike & a remote control dinasour. He got loads of pressies from the family

Me, BJ & Eden are all on antibiotics. I had flu like symptoms for two weeks, including high temperatures, and I just wasn't getting any better. I've been taking the ABs for a few days now and it's made a huge difference. My nose is clear and my chest is clearing up. BJ had a few days of high temps too, over a week apart. And poor Eden has just had this chesty cough for 4 months! My GP wouldn't give anything for it but this time we just went to the local medical centre so he was happy to get his pen & pad out

I was in Melbourne last weekend catching up with the girls from Eden's baby buddies group. Just Eden & I went. It was great. We had an awesome time. I just wish I had planned better and should of arranged to meet you girls too... Sigh, next time for sure!

We have 2 x 3rd Birthday parties today... Joy

AND THE BIRTHDAY'S BEGIN... I can't find our old list, who's LO's have birthday on what days again?

Ava is 7th Oct - can't believe shes THREE next week.

Jude is the 7th also.

So who is still here?

Miss A is at 3yr old kinder now & enjoying swimming & just started gymnastics. She's as busy and inquisitive as ever.

She can write her own name & dad, enjoys coloring & craft & can trace letters, rides motorbikes & plays in the mud...

I'm loving this age but boy does she have an attitude!

Hope some others are around for an update!

How is everyone?

Going well here, X loving kinder, Annika seeming so much older now - walking, talking etc. Wow it goes so fast. DH dizzy again for the last month, boo :( but fingers crossed the meds will work again soon :crossfingers:. Generally keeping busy busy :)

Jude keeps me busy with trying to find out how everything works, especially aeroplanes and helicopters. He first wrote his name I think last Christmas, can write a few letters and traces them well, and loves learning what words start with.

Today he helped himself to yoghurt from the fridge, removed the top, ate it neatly and threw the empty container away. Later he helped himself to an apple. I suggested he could get all his meals, he said no, he's too little.

He didn't love kindy and he's not currently enrolled after spending 8 months sick. We went on a 5 week holiday to the USA and he was perfectly healthy that whole time. Kindy is too disgusting. We're really interested in unschooling Jude as it would suit his natural curiosity, but I am going mental as a SAHM (love/ hate relationship, but I have no family around so it's too much with no breaks, ever).

My baby is 13 months and is gorgeous, tiny and very loud.

They turn 4 bloody soon.

Yes all nearly 4 now!

M is doing well. She loves kinder and is learning so much. She says the funniest things sometimes.

Sorry to hear Jon is dizzy again! I thought that was all sorted Belfie. I still get vertigo on and off, which is frustrating. Wish they would find a cure for this illness!

kuraiza - htye are very inquisitive little creatures aren't they? The girls love exploring the paddock and picking everything up and working it all out.

Moi - so glad M is enjoying kinder, we STILL haven't organised that catch up - we might eventually get there before they turn 21 :)

AFM - Miss A LOVES kinder, surprisingly she hasn't been sick and she really loves the staff and the kids she is with.
Ava can trace all the letters of the alphabet now on some sheets i printed but is still being very lazy with telling you what each is.. she can do it she just refuses.
She can write her name and dad and can write Zara when she concentrates but otherwise it's hit and miss.
She copied NAN on MIL"s b'day card last week so MIL was extremely excited.

Girls are both doing swimming and gymnastics and loving it, Miss A just went up another level in swimming so is now a courage 3 she only went up in June so i'm quite pleased with her efforts considering she took on water like the titanic.

She will be going into 4yr old kinder next year and DD2 will be in 3yr old and i am REALLY looking forward to some alone time.
Between running them to kinder, swimming & gymnastics, running the business from home and all the other joys around here (all the animals) i don't often remember myself so it might be nice.

We just got a new pet today actually a Murray Cod (yet to be named) so we are looking for ANOTHER 4ft fish tank so he can be houses on his own and grow nice and big & strong.

Better go, having a yummy lunch alone as the girls actually fell asleep in the car (now in bed) and i'm eating ALONE... what the!

Actually you got me back on here Zarava. I've asked a couple of questions on the forums and so glad I did as I got some great advice. :)

Yes I keep thinking that we still need to meet up.

And yes going away at the end of September for a week to London. :) DH got given airfares and accommodation by his work. :dance: It all came out of the blue and not something we were expecting at all!
