Csab - Your message to V was so heartfelt it brought tears to my eyes. :) I am so glad V is doing so well. I am also having M's party on Saturday. I did want it on the 10th (her actual bday) but the venue I wanted wasn't available. I hope it will be nice weather for their parties.

We went to the paed today for most of her results (still will take a month or so for some other results) and everything came back OK!! :hooray: He said he has no idea why she isn't growing as much as other babies but she is a very healthy little girl. So everything we've done/she's done isn't/hasn't effected her health at all! If that makes sense. We are still waiting on a couple of possibilities but she is definitely healthy and not lacking in anything. That was so good for me to hear. My little girl is OK!!! :hooray: She's just little. :)

Decided to get her vaccinations done while there and I hope it doesn't make her unwell for her party. Just thought it was easier to get them done while we were at the doctors already!

Happy Happy Birthday V, you are a strong little lady and deserve the biggest party ever!!!

csab - How did V's health appointment go on Friday? I hope everything is well. And how was her party?

M's party went well. :) You can see pics on FB. Unfortunately I wasn't all that well. I had another vertigo attack on Friday and I was feeling off on Saturday. I then had another attack yesterday. :( These attacks have been a lot milder than the previous ones so I am hoping maybe it's a sign it's coming to an end? :pray:

Have been busy, and the internet kept playing up, but it is leting me on atm, so here goes.

Had V's pead appt on Friday, upon me hoping that she would have made the 6kg mark plus some, she hasnt. She is 5.9kg, hc 45cm, lgth 65cm. I felt quite deflated after her weight was checked as I really though she had made it. Now the DR is talking about having her see the genetics team again, as well as some Dr at Westmeads children hospital in the new year. I so hope she doesnt need to, as he wants to see her in 2mths time. He said he is happy with the rest of her developemtn though, so thats something. I just waiting for someone to point the finger at me soon. Sort of feel like I am failing her on some way. None of my others have had to go though what she has.
The dietician is tomorrow, dont really want to go. They are going to tell me what I already know.
ON a brighter note V had a wonderful B'day, had my DS take pictures, but I think he took videos, so may not have a pic of her. She also fell asleep through it. Poor little thing. Probably half of the people didnt come due to last minute cancellations, seemded to be a day for the drama's. I was disappointed in the cake, I normally buy Weny's Icecream cakes, they are so yum and normally nothing left over. The cakes are normally decorated how I want, but this time, although the cake was delicicous, the decorating was cr@p. Not how I wanted it. Had tinkerbell on it , but the chocolate shavings went all over tinkerbell and V's name etc. They had put too much shavings of choc on top of the cake. I used to have a different person that would do the cakes for me, but he sold his business. Ohh well.
Anyway, must go fix V, she has been eating a sandwich and it is all over the place as well as nutella all over her face.... little duffer. hugs all,hope everyone is well.

Moi - i am so happy that M's results came back positive for you.. she is a gorgeous little girl and now you know she is happy and HEALTHY.

CSAB - how was V's party?

Hope everyone else is well and sorry to anyone i have missed, had a few things on my mind at the moment, not sure if we will be able to get the rest of the loan for the house side of things as RAMS changed their home loans and now need certain docs and everything.
We have GREAT accountant that reduces a lot of DP's tax but it has it's downfall as it looks like he doesn't earn as much as he does... will just have to keep my fingers and toes crossed.
Ava has finally slept well the last 3 nights, up at 6 and in our bed for morning cuddles til 7, she even fell asleep yesterday morn until 8:30.. WTF? i didn't know myself.
Her gums are still swollen but not through yet and i have been getting tooth aches myself :cry:, she has these little dots on her face and i think it's her eczema and the milk, am taking the transition slowly, they don't show up anywhere else except on her dry patches after her bath or shower... am i right guessing it's her eczema?

Sorry have rambled a bit, am making the most of 5min to myself :p
Might go make a cuppa and see if there is anything yummy to eat

Went to the dentist yesterday :cry: and had 2 teeth out... one was a wisdom tooth.. OUCH!

Am trying to think of ideas for if i change my name after #2.. am thinking if i can get DP to agree with the name i like which is ZARA GRACE i might use a combination of the girls names.

So it will be AVA LILLY & ZARA GRACE.
Already thought of AVRA, can anyone give me suggestions, would love anything really..
AVRALOVE, AVRAMUM etc etc etc... come on girls... give me your best!

It has been very quiet in here after the birthdays.

csab - I can understand your disappointment that V hasn't reached 6kgs as yet but 5.9kgs is so close. Sounds like V is doing so well developmentally. :hug:

Avasmum - Oh I love the name Zara (my DH hates it so we will never use it). I'm terrible of thinking up names so have no suggestions for your new BB name sorry. Hope your teeth stop hurting soon. :hug:

I've still had a few small attacks of vertigo, but at least they have been small. Can't stop thinking will I be able to go to work next year? Will I be able to have another baby? Blah.. stupid thoughts.

On top of that it looks like DH might lose his job. Another company has taken over his and they might close down the Melbourne office. :( So then he'd be competing with everyone else from his company for jobs. :( Anyway, we don't know what's happening yet and prob won't know till early next year. He's gonna start looking around for another job now though.

Well V is nolonger on formula, she is now on cows milk, and pediasure for the extra protein. If you can believe it, she took the change to cows milk straight away, I sort of was expecting a bit of a whine, but no problems at all. Heres hoping the change works in V's advantage for the weight gain.

Moi - Thanks re: your comments about my post to V the other day, have been meaning to say that to you. Also, thanks to re V, she is doing very well, how is little M going today? Sorry to hear about your DH job could be in jeopardy, I hope he finds a job before anythign comes of it. HUgs

Glad V took to the milk for you without an issue, Ava doesn't seem to care bout the taste but have to reduce scoop by scoop because of her eczema so might be a while til she's down to just milk.
How many bottles is she having or is she taking it from a sippy cup etc?

How is everyone else going with the change to milk? How have you been giving it to your little one?
Have you changed milk to a sippy cup or something rather than a bottle?
A is having 2 bottles a day at the moment it's 120ml water with 4 scoops of formula and 90ml milk and she drinks almost all of it, she drinks water during the day and eats yoghurt and cheese.
She tried some milk with her breakfast in a sippy cup today with the tiniest bit of milo mixed in and she loved it.. not sure if i should maybe try giving her milk with her breakfast in a sippy cup then lowering the amount of her morning 'bottle'?
Oh it's all so confusing.

She's slept well FINALLY for the last 3-4 nights, down about 8ish and sleeping til 6:30 - 7ish without even a dummy run!
Not sure if the bad nights she has coincide with the change in the milk/formula ratio and then her body settles and she's ok? any ideas?

Hi to everyone else, best be off to sort the food cupboard and fridge before the piglet wakes and tries to eat everything i move!
Oh my poor girl fell 3-4ft off playground equipment on Saturday :-( i felt sick, she gave herself a blood nose, cut her nose and had scratches etc all over her face from the bark.. Dr said she is fine and she's back to normal.. i cried about 10times that day.

I know I have probably dropped off the face of the earth but life seems to be going at a million miles an hours of late and it is a case of hold on or get thrown off!! LOL

Bullet update for all and then maybe some personals if Miss B stays asleep.

*DH still unemployed, took over 10 weeks for centerlink to do their thing. Not good. Our savings as they were are now no longer but what can you do we have to live. He has a trial with Best and Less this week. :pray: A job would be sooo good!!

*Bethany had her one year check. She's still a little bub. Not as small as V or Maya but not far ahead either. 8 even. She had lost too which isn't great. For now we are leaving her on formula to keep the fats and calaries. And the great medical diagnosis of watch and see. I think she is fine just a small bub. She is where she should be developmentally. She self feeds and now that she has discovered that will not be spoon feed. (Can you say stubborn??) but we are trying to trick spoon feed her when we can. When all is said and done I am really trying NOT to get worked up about it all. But it is hard.


Moi~~ Hope all is ok with your DH's job. How is the meniares?

csab~~ Hope the milk is helping V, glad she is going well. Hopefully some answers soon from all the "big" brains at the kids hospital.
