How was she when those molars came through? A is not eating (basically AT ALL) and has really gross #2's (TMI) but no fever etc etc so i can only put it down to teething but she has NEVER gone off her food.
Off to the Dr's today just to be sure.
I hope the Paed says that V has grown in length and that everything is going ok.

Ok feeling a lot better but starting to get tired now as a lot going on, the concert was AWESOME Ava had an amazing time, she thought it was the best and she was perfectly behaved.
We did pick a nappy bag and i am in SHOCK... Ren bought me an OiOi nappy bag, it's gorgeous... i didn't look at prices or anything she just gauged what i liked, she bought it on the spot... i have no idea how ppl pay so much for a nappy bag (all i know is it was more than $150)... i get it next week at MG as it's from everyone.
My hosp bag is FINALLY almost finished.

Ok so AFM well i am hoping things start to look up, 1stly my camera is in being fixed and possibly wont be back in time for #2, then our comp shat itself and had to pay for it to be fixed then my washing machine blew up and we had to go buy another - the guy said had in stock, paid for it then he rings the warehouse and they are SHUT so DP has to go back there 45min away to pick it up tonight, aside from working his 7days a week and lately leaving at 7 only to get home at 7.
He also thinks his car is on the way out and his tax is due but we don't have the cash cos of the stupid washing machine etc.

A is not eating and has;t properly for almost a week now, not even her fave foods.
Off to the Dr's today to get her checked, am thinking it might be her molars but i'm not leaving it that long to be something else.

#2 is due in just over 4wks but with A not well and all this other crap going on i am starting to feel fairly tired, got a maternity massage tomorrow as my back has been KILLING so i think i have 2wks left... if that!

It's raining her today and i LOVE it... god i love the rain.... soo gloomy kinda matches my current mood... lol

X-Mas, well the tree and other deco's are up we have on lay-by a smart trike and some playdoh for A but Mark also wants to buy her this plastic rollercoaster thing from toys r us... she LOVES them at the play centre.. i am beyond arguing over money so he can do what he wants.
We also have to pick stuff on behalf of Marks nan (she doesn't leave the house) so Mark wants to get her this ride on train thing for $100 as she gave us $100... and then Marks dad wants us to pick from him as he has no idea so going to get the the seashell thing and set it up as a sandpit and stuff.
Our families are all very big on x-mas, not so much the pressies but the get together and the kids... so they go all out.

Ava is meant to be a boy i swear it, she has no fear, climbs the slide at the park, goes down it ALONE :rolleyes:, loves the go-kart and motorbikes, loves mud and sticks and pebbles and now Mark wants to get her all this stuff most 3yr olds would like... lol she's my devil in disguise!

Well it has been a week now and only a bedtime feed - so we are there - it is just the emotional letting go now for me to give up that last feed - he doesnt care less :p

Xmas - belfie - you been snooping? We have got Z a new sandpit/pool double sided pit from Toys R Us as our other one was a bit too sun warped and looking to crack - plus these ones are more comfy than the shells cos it is squarer. Water one side - sand the other, perfect recipe for disaster ;)

I am reading but no time to post personals until the weekend so hugs to you all and the toddlers - well kinda toddlers. Z isn't walking yet either - X & Z will probably do it the same time - end of the month likely ...

Sam - Belfie, V isnt walking yet either, walks around the furniture, or by holding onto your both hands. She will walk in her own time, I think once she walks she is going to be into everything.

Amy - V and I are doing better still have the flu, but not that bad now. Mainly sniffles. V seems to get the flu everytime she gets her teeth, her No.2s have been quite on the nose, and a tad loose. Other than that the teeth havent affected her, even though her gums are swollen. She is still very happy and sleeping well. Hows Amy now? What about yourself, I am going to send some labour vibes your way, :lol:

long time since i have posted here..although i have been reading.
A little update on us ~

Jack now has 10 teeth and 2 more on the way
says ~ DADA, MAMA,GRANDAD,NANA,CHOOKIE-NOO-NOOS,BATH,FRUIT-STICK,CAR,KITTY-CAT,PUSSY-TOOK,BOT-BOT and various other things.
is running everywhere...and i mean all the time!!!
I have a climber on my hands...climbs EVERYTHING!!!!!!
is still sleeping great!!!! (touch wood) 6.30pm-6.30/7.00am and 1-2 sleeps a day
still has bottles (3 a day) (i feel like a bad mummy hearing how all the other bubbas have sippy cups)
goes to swimming lessons (bath as jack calls it) once a week, and is a natural!!! can float already after afew lessons...maybe that because i used to teach swimming!!!!!
eats anything/everything LOVES fruit
as for christmas presents ~ little people, books, building blocks, push-a-long trike, table & chairs and god knows what else!!!!!!!

Last week was an interesting week with Maya's walking. Belfie and X came for a visit on Friday and when M saw X using one of her walkers she decided she wanted to use one too. And then I couldn't believe how much control she had over her walker. She was able to steer it a bit and go backwards, which she couldn't do before. Since then she's been using her walker again on and off. Thanks X!

And another thank you to X cos he was standing in her way between the coffee table and the couch so she took a couple of steps on her own, without holding onto anything! :dance: Her first steps. :)

So belfie when can X come round next?? :)

Maya is still very cautious though. With encouragement she will walk between two people. So she can walk on her own. But she won't try it any other time. So I don't know how long it'll be till she does walk on her own?!

AFM I got an interview for the job I applied for but I didn't get the job I applied for. I get my MRI results tomorrow, but I know they'll be fine.

fluff - oh Jack sounds so cute and he is doing very well with the talking and walking.
A talks on the phone now, even pauses so people can speak back to her, she calls ours dogs by name.. even yells at them when they bark... JACK, CASS, JACK, CASSIE... :rofl:
Other than that she says fish, fishies, mum, dad, nan nan, bub, hi, ta (but only when giving me something not the other way round :wall:) nanny & nanna, daisy (upsy daisy).
She's also figured out she can pretty much run, she does it on the tramp and falls flat on her face :rofl: but laughs at herself.

Moi - i so wish i had of been able to make it last week now, X and A could have had M running by now.
A's boyfriend at mg is 1 and he has only just started crawling on his knees.. they do everything in their own time... she will just walk one day and you wont now how it happened... lol

Well AFM - Ava is a bit up and down at the moment, finally over the no eating thing and back to being a pig so i'm happy, as i said she is walking everywhere, sometimes even running which looks odd as she is so small.
All she wants to do is play outside with her jack & cass and if she's not outside she's at the door calling them, she gets VERY annoyed when they are locked up and don't come to her, she is hand feeding them now (with our supervision of course) and she loves it.

Teeth #7 & 8 have officially broken though but i still think those molars were moving!

Got the last of A's pressies on the w/end and god i am suprised i made it out alive.. CRAZY! only 3 small pressies left to get for other people and were done.
A is getting her bike, a roller coaster (dp's idea :rolleyes: ), coloring books, a playdoh set and 1 set of those crayola starter crayons. i am pretty happy though all that cost UNDER $300.
The bike is from Santa so are the books and the crayons, then we have told the nieces that 'we' bought her the rollercoaster and playdoh.. as they know the difference and were wondering why she only had 1 pressie from us under the tree and why we offloaded a rollercoaster from the car.

3wks left tomorrow until Zara is due, she is engaged already though and only 2 finger widths of her head is out of my pelvis.
The OB is sending me for fetal monitoring (CTG & AFI) as he thinks she is going to be small like Ava and he thinks thats odd as according to him i could 'quite EASILY' handle 8lb+... i was a small baby and my brothers were no giants so i am not worried, just taking it as an extra chance to hear and possibly see my girl before she's born!

Oh almost forgot the most important thing THE FINANCE WAS APPROVED ON THE HOUSE! :dance:

Hi girls and little people ...

Probably last post until the new year for me! We are hitting the road in a couple of days with even busier times ahead.

We just bought our next home for the next 20 years. A big 4 bedroom with study 250m2of living with a big block too of 953m2 - and a POOL :) We didnt look deliberately for a house with a pool, just happened to have one - hard to find a good size house on a good size block here. The yard has lots of grass, a cubby house (which is staying) a vegie patch designated area built up already, and a great permanent structure entertaining area up the back of the yard - good for parties not keeping kids awake LOL. So when we get back from ballarat packing will be happening and then moving in first week of Jan, and I have a green light to buy some new furniture so cannot wait!!!

So much on lately between school and preschool breakups and parties. Last one tomorrow then drinks with friends Sat and Sun ... then take a breath ....

Z is doing well, last breastfeed was Sunday night - he's only having about 300mls a day in a cup, but i figure this is enough over a ocuple of feeds and having yoghurt and other stuff - it's not like he is a baby and surviving only on milk. Thankful now I dont have to worry about getting rid of the bottle too - feel proud of him even though it gave me great angst at the time. If I give him the cup, he has about 80mls, but if DH or daycare gives it to him he has up to 180mls ... boobs a bit sore but cos it was so hot last night I leaked everywehre anyway so natural express LOL - gross I know but it was enough to even them out again.

Not walking yet, just cruising behind the walker and holding our hands if he is prepared to be patient, he is damn good climber though as I watched at a play centre yesterday - frightened me and I am pretty seasonsed at the bumps and falls bit!

An update on Little MIss V has had her pead appt and weighed in at 6.540kg, still not the 7kg mark I was hoping for but good anyway. The Pead is happy with her and is happy to wait a bit to see how she goes before he gets us to see the childrens hospital. Also had her genetics appt, and she is happy not to see us for another 18mths, so yay.

Avasmum - Congrats on the finance on the house. :) Not long now till #2 arrives. :) As for M not walking - I'm not worried about it and know that it will happen eventually but poor M gets so frustrated with herself and just wants to walk all the time, which means I'm bent over holding her hand and getting a sore back. I'd just love to see her able to do it on her own finally for her own personal satisfaction and to save my poor back! She can actually walk on her own between two people but won't try it any other time.

SamiH - Congrats on the home purchase. Sounds like a great house. Has Z weaned now? Hope you are having a great time in Ballarat.

csab - It sounds like V is doing so well. Though I imagine you are like me with M and wish she'd put on weight a little quicker. But as long as they are happy and healthy that's the main thing.

AFM - I got my MRI results and everything is OK like I knew it would be. So definitely got Menieres (though a new ENT of mine does want to rule out something else first - that will happen in early Jan). I've been doing so well lately but then had a vertigo attack this morning which was so disappointing. Though happily it wasn't as bad as it used to be, so I'm hoping that it is a good sign that it'll not be as bad as it was.

I've started doing some balance rehab (so I wonder if that could have triggered an attack because I have to push my balance to dizziness in order to retrain it).

I finally started looking into CC places (there aren't any FDC places available). I thought all places would be booked out by now (the popular ones definitely are) but I managed to look at four with places. I found one I quite like and am going to see it again this week before I decide for sure. I just hope I can go back to work next year! Oh and I finally heard back from my work with which days I'll be working. And there's a new job advertised that I will apply for.

Hi Everyone!

I trust you all had a nice christmas. Ours was nice too. BJ got heaps of toys, a tshirt, a rashshirt & a book. He just loved opening the presents. You could really tell which ones he liked & the ones he didn't care for :lol:

He is growing so fast. He'll say his name now when asked "what is your name" Actually he'll say any word you ask him to. He is also nodding & shaking his head when asked a question. He doesn't often get it right though. I still put him in the creche at the gym and he loves it. He never cries when I leave and the carers always say they don't hear a peep out of him, he just happily plays

I'm taking vitex to regulate my cycles which seems to be working. We are officially TTC as of tomorrow so i'll make the ticker change then. It's funny how just a few months ago I wasn't ready for another bub, but that scare made me realise it won't be so bad after all. I'm ready for it now & can't wait to complete our family. I think i'll be O'ing in the next couple of days so am hoping our TTC journey will be a short one

What is everyone planning for this evening? DH is working day shift tomorrow so we'll probably end up going to bed around 9pm. Terrible I know

Ava had a friend over today and they went for a swim in the pool, DP's home and she seems to be enjoying his company.
She had an awesome x-mas and was VERY spoilt and has been enjoying drawing, playing with play doh and blocks etc. She pretends to talk to people on our mobiles and actually chats on the phone to our parents etc, she also talks to my midwife and has a chat with random strangers.
She runs everywhere, is into climbing everything and just wants to spend all her time outside, she rubs and kisses my belly but has no idea what she's in for.

Well best be off... over this heat and going to hide back in the lounge.

We invited a few people to our house last night cos it's harder to get out with Maya. We had a BBQ and sat around and chatted till midnight. It was nice, especially watching all the lightening!

Oh belfie and georgie how exciting TTC. Good luck with it all and I hope it doesn't take too long. I also conceived the very first time I tried (miscarriage) and then the second time we tried was Maya. I have no idea if it'll be that easy the second time. I'll be waiting to here pregnancy announcements. :) With Avasmum's baby there might be three new babies this year. :) I'm still hoping I'll be well enough in 2011 and that's when we'll try, or maybe towards the end of this year. I still worry if I'll be well enough to carry a second baby, but I sooooooooo want another one.

Georgi - I ended up having two attacks this week. :( Both not too bad compared to what I was having, but still not good. Yes I am very much hoping maybe 2010 is the year I get well again!

Avasmum - Yes the heat has been hard. So glad it's cooler today. :) Waiting for news of Zara. I guess she wanted to be a 2010 baby. :)

Moi - happy new year to you too! Glad you had an nice BBQ at home, but sorry to hear about the increased attacks! Re the m/c, you, me and Georgi all had m/c's in Oct 07, isn't that weird.

We've been busy TTC and we're in the 2WW now. It's doing my head in, so cross your fingers for me lol. X has just gone off to FDC for the first time today! It feels very weird sitting here at home without him! I think he'll settle in well though :crossfingers:. I've had 2.5 weeks of hols and we have been flat chat... catching up on some big household chores (anyone wanna do some painting? :lol:) and bookkeeping. It's so sad, we had one designated "holiday" day! I'm doing a huge effort to catch-up on 2 years of being unorganised/behind with my bookkeeping... wanna do that before I'm UTD again. So been working nights, weekends... everthing :( ah well, it'll be worth it. And I'm just so relieved that we've got a bit more care for X now, should ease the pressure, and I reckon he'll love it.

He's not really walking yet... takes about 4 steps max, and shuffles on his knees the rest of the time lol, lazy boy reckons it's easier that way! Otherwise, he's just as cute as a button, waves at us and grins - cheeky fella!

belfie - :crossfingers: Hopefully some good news soon. :) Glad to hear X's day at FDC went well. Maya still isn't walking either but wants to walk all day holding on to my hand. I'm so sick of walking with her all day long, because it gives me a sore back. Everyone sees her walking holding on to me and says "oh not long till she's walking". I have heard that for MONTHS now. I have no idea when it'll happen.

I've been trying to encourage Maya to walk on her own, between me and someone else and by letting go of her hand when she's headed towards something. She walks fine, but just won't take the initiative on her own and often gets annoyed with me for making her walk without my hand. :rolleyes:

Maya is getting another tooth at the moment. She hasn't been too out of sorts luckily.

I've been attack free since the last ones I mentioned. I've been feeling a bit wobbly though, which isn't nice. But I am hoping I am finished with attacks forever now. :crossfingers: I had some more tests done last week and get the results this week. I think they will just confirm Menieres, but good to rule out other things.

I am still planning on trying to go back to work at the end of Jan and I am starting to freak out now cos it's only a couple of weeks away! I enrolled M into CC last week. I'm both excited and nervous about her going to CC. I really like the centre though. They are very flexible with sleeps, eating, etc and everyone seems so happy and friendly. Plus it's a small place which I think is nice too. I just hope M likes it. She starts orientation this week.

I remember the 1st day i sent D to CC i was so lost and I actually had a break-down at the centre right after i dropped him off :( i still get like that 3 mths down the track but his CC days are my work days so i've learnt to deal with it but he never goes down quiet...

not much happening here....no TTC here just yet...am on the weightloss train and we are going to commence our 2nd cycle of IVF at the end of the year...we are also buying our first home around June/july :D and then we will start with the IVF in NOV/DEC for bubba #2 (#4) then i will give up work next year

teru - ohh.. good luck with TTC too. :) I'm worried about M crying when being left at CC so my DH is going to drop her off. It makes more sense for him to do it anyway, because it's on his way to work. And that way I won't have to hear her cry when I leave.

Katones - Maybe we'll be pregnant around the same time then. :)

Three mothers from my MG are already pregnant again.

M is getting another two teeth. She's still not walking.

I got some test results today that confirmed that I have Meniere's (which I was sure of anyway but I guess good to rule out a couple more things). The results also showed that my ear is doing a bit better in one way but still not normal. So I guess that's a good sign. I just hope it continues to get better.

I also talked to this specialist about trying to get PG again and he said that there are a few things we could try to help me get off the medications. Don't know if it'll work or not though, but at least there are things I can try still. So hopefully next year I can try again!

Hi everyone, we are going pretty well at the moment, not too much lack of sleep which is great and Ava seems be be getting a little closer each day, sussing her out.
She got in the baby bath with Z last night and tried to wash her, it was so cute.

Hope everyone is coping with the HEAT, we have slept in the lounge the last 2 nights.
Ava slept on her Dora couch and didn't even wake to Z which was great, last night she ended up in with us but i think that was the change in room temp.

Coming home from hosp A seems so much bigger, i wonder what they fed her while i was gone.. you go from holding this tiny bundle to someone usually considered small and there is still such a MASSIVE difference.
She looks older i think and she knows who Zara is, you ask wheres Zara and she looks at her, if Z cries she points at the bassinete.

Sorry for not posting much, have been quite busy. Looking forward to school going back.
Anyway a quick update - V had her dietician appt yesterday got weighed in her clothes and was 7kg length was 70cms, She was quite happy with V's progress, and she is looking at having just one more visit from us at the end of March and if all is well with V then we wont need to come and see her anymore, so that will be one less person to see. So happy about that.

I've seen a few newborns lately and M suddenly seems a lot bigger and older to me. Oh and I was very happy to be your PIG. Plus I got something out of it too.. I got to find out the news before others and see a picture of Z! :D

Csab - So good to hear V is doing so well. :) I'm still waiting for M to reach 8kgs so I can turn her car seat around!! We have another paed appointment in early Feb, so I'll get her weighed then.

This afternoon Maya is having her first orientation at CC. It's just for an hour today and with me there too. They want to see if they can get M playing on her own or with one of them. I say GL to them cos M is still so attached to me and scared of strangers. It will be interesting to see how she goes today.

BJ had his first real haircut today. By a hairdresser. He was such a good boy sitting there. Though he didn't like the water spray at all lol. He looks like such a little boy, there's no more baby in this house. It's amazing how much he's talking now. He tends to say words more now rather than signing them, which is great! He seems so much older than he is. So advance with his communication it's incredible. His favourite word at the moment is doodle. He even says it when he's NOT gettting a nappy change. Too cute!

Well in typical form I've started with a bang. At work today I had disturbed vision (right side) and numb arm (right) & face. Trotted off to the GP who promptly sent me off to ED! They've done bloods and I have an MRI tomorrow :o

I'm just thinking... WTF!?!?! Talk about starting early - I've only known I was PG for 1-2 days and already it's crazy! Anyways, we're hoping it was just an unsual migraine (even tho i never get migraines and hardly ever headaches) but they want to rule out the scaries like stroke, tumour etc. So um yeah.... wish me luck! :crossfingers:

Well our house is going to settle some time in the next week (don't ask :wall:) so thats kind of exciting and scary at the same time.
Ava has been a bit off the last 2 days, i don't think it's to do with Z as she is constantly sooking, i think maybe her molars are on the move as her cheeks are a bit flushed etc.
I am hoping she's over it soon though, she rolled around on the floor crying for 30min today while i fed Z, then randomly stopped, walked away and played, if i leave the room she sooks, if we tell her no or even try and play with her she sooks for no reason.

no baby for us this round, the bloods came. Had to go supermarket to stock up, I was loving the days when I didnt have to pick what to use haha

just a quick run-down of whats been going on (not DS related, maybe tomorrow):
we're in the process of setting up DP's panelbeating business, found a premises entered into so-called negotiation, had quick inspection of property with previous tenant still occupying, was given contract to sign, went back for inspection WITHOUT any tenants or stock (they had MOUNTAINS of boxes!!) and found HEAPS of imperfections, went back to agent asked for repairs etc but he kept saying no im acting on behalf of landlord he wont agree i know him yadiyada, we werent happy, went home looked over contract to see who's responsible and found the contract to be rather dodgy, employed services of a lawyer to look over contract (and man were we glad, but still have no idea what the bill's going to come to :S) and it was FULL OF CR@P!! went back to agent said we want a new contract and extra terms. That was wednesday
Fast forward...
the contract is due to be signed today (15Jan) but we're not going to anymore as it seems like the agent is rushing us to enter into something to benefit himself and he's taking advantage of the fact that we are pretty clueless.

so what was planned to be our Grand Opening for the business next month have now gone up in smoke as WE DO NOT EVEN HAVE A PREMISES!! GRRR ARRRGHHH i wanna kill someone...

(ive since forgotten what i was gonna write)

i had a HUGE fight (over nothing) earlier on the week that made me so angry that i self-styled my hair (which i havent bothered to fix) and packed my bags ready to leave. If only i had a car and if only it wasnt such a hot day, but then again would i really have? I think the heat drove us to boiling point that day. I miss my hair :cry:

im rambling now, so i better stop...was meant to be a quick stop, but i guess ive turned it into a rant :hide:

belfie - How scary! I hope everything is OK!! Good luck with the tests. I hope they all come back normal. I can especially sympathise belfie after all the testing I went through over the last couple of months!

Zarava - M has been more grumpy lately too. I reckon it's a combination of the heat + teeth coming. Two new ones are almost out now, so that makes 7 teeth for M now!

teru - :hug: Sounds like you've been having a rough time lately. Feel free to vent here any time. I hope you find a premises for DP's business soon.

As for CC, I felt like M didn't do so well cos she was very clingy to me, but afterwards the staff said she'd done very well because she hadn't stayed with me the whole time, she did participate in a few things and she didn't cry. So I guess I should trust their expertise. We are going back next Thurs and I am going to leave her for a few hours on her own. I'm really nervous about leaving her at CC now. I can't see how they will get her to sleep there and I worry she'll miss me and not have enough attention. :( Probably all normal (and stupid) worries, but it'll be so weird to be apart from M and not know what she's up to every day. Aww.. I'm getting all sad about it now. :(
