OMG Raffy!!! WOOOOO HOOOO! Congratulations gorgeous! That is the best news ever! A little playmate for Cooper!! WTG! :happyforyou:
Someone is officially crawling .... LOCK UP THE CUPBOARDS!!
Woo hoo. WTG ben!!
Raffy ... I think its another boy!! Just my prediction guess already haha :)
I think so to Nikki. And I think he will be born Jan 5th lol I have names already
ohhhh are you sharing! I already have my future kids names picked too hahaha lol
Nikki - WTG on Benny for crawling! :happydance: BUT big  for you as I know you weren't ready yet! hehe How is Ben's sleeping going now? Cute Bunny you got for him and Summer!! :D
Raffy - What a cool due date to be due on Boxing day? Perhaps you'll go early this time and have a Christmas baby??? lol I am going to guess you're having a girl! :cheer: Either way, I hope you have a healthy bub!! Yes, are you going to share bubs names? lol
Brydz - Thanks honey, no I didn't end up getting a full blown cold but have been feeling crappy for the past week with the cold symptoms and then yesterday spent most of the day in bed due to a tummy bug :( Still feeling a bit tender this morning but soooo much better than yesterday. Just glad my MIL was over to help me out with Noah. ;) WTG on Vinny's great weight gain and lenght. Our boys are all nice and big and tall!! :) Whoohoo on his first tooth, I hope that the rest will be easier.
Hiya to Vix, Sparkles and everyone else!
AFM, felt pretty crappy yesterday as I said above to Brydz with a tummy bug but feeling much better today. Have MIL coming over again as she is helping me make some curtains for my living and dining rooms. Had a bit of a crappy day Monday as I rushed my cat to the vet and they did a biopsy on his leg as the vet thinks it's a tumor, sent away the results but with the public holidays over easter coming up, might not know until next week Wednesday... hopefully it's not cancer otherwise they may need to amputate his leg and I don't know if I would want to do that to my poor kitty...
What is everyone up to over Easter?? We don't have too much planned except for Noah's Baptism on Sunday and lunch with family here at home afterwards.
Hope you all have a great day!!!
xoxox
I'll share name but it's a secret to everyone else so you gotta promise not to say anything on FB...
We already have Amy, Ben and Cooper so ABC so 'Pickle' is gonna start with D. We have Daylen Benjamin for a boy and Delta Jayde for a girl (Benjamin obviously after DF and Jade is my middle name but I prefer it with a y) :D
Nikki - thumper is sooo cute. Summer and Ben look like they love him :) coopers already a little animal lover, he chases the cats around in his walker and sits at the back door and watches the dog and tries to his the lizard on the head lol. Must be hereditary as DF and I are huge animal lover either that or he didn't have a choice living in our zoo.
Pretz - glad your feeling better today. Hope you continue to improve. I'm so glad your MIL is there to help out with Noah, have fun making your curtains. I'm so sorry to hear about your cat, we are going through the same thing. My mums 18 year old cat (so my beloved childhood pet) had a seizure the other day after hitting his head while playing with mums other 2 year old cat. Anyway mum rushed him to the vet and he has multiple tumors, one in his head :o the vet sent away the tests but I dint know if mum has heard back from him yet. For an 18 year old cat he's actually really fit and still looks and acts quite healthy, apart from being a little slow when wandering around and going upstairs but that's understandable. So he still has good quality of life so I say we'll just see how he goes from now. for you and pats for your poor kitty
:hello: everyone else
AFM - did another HPT today, 2 lines nice and dark and came up straight away :confetti: went to the doctors yesterday for coopers needles, which he handled extremely well, and was laughing in the car on the way home  oh and he's only 7.4 kg and 69cm long. I swore he was bigger coz he feels like he weighs a tonne. But hes in portion and growing well. Anyway I asked about the anti deps and that in regards to this pregnancy and shes starting to wean me off them coz she said I'll be fine, so I should be AD free but 7 weeks as that's when the organs start to form. I'm happy about this, gives me about 3 weeks to wean off them
Apart from that not much else is happening, coopers getting grumpy in his jumperoo so we are gonna start cleaning the pigsty I called home.
Xx
Pretz - Oh no! Your poor kitty!!! I really hope its not a tumour! Big hugs for you  it is never easy when one of the 'family' is sick. Glad to hear you are feeling better today and I hope sewing the curtains doesnt make you relapse (I hate sewing haha) lucky you have MIL to help you, I would need all the help I could get! I hope Noah's baptism goes off without a hitch, I cant wait to see some photos, he will look just adorable I bet!
Ben chases our cat around already with the crawling! Uh! He has had 2 injuries, banging his head on the glass sliding door and knocking his head on wood floor. Silly boy! I told him it was too early to be doing this crawling business. He is still really slow at it though so I think I might have another week up my sleeve before I really need to lock cupboards and what not! Bens sleeping is TERRIBLE. He is still waking 2 -3 times a night to feed. Falls back to sleep straight away but is always just starving :shakehead:
Have you got any plans for easter? We are going down south for 5 days, it is supposed to be raining heavily the whole time so I dont really know what the purpose of going is??? :dunno:
Raffy - How cute at Cooper chasing the cats in his walker. Ben tries to crawl after ours but is just TOO slow! Oh I love your names. They rock!! Really different but very nice!! :D WTG at being weaned off your meds! I cant wait to see all your ultrasound and tummy pics again!! Cluck cluck cluck haha ohhh and a squishy little newborn again. Just fun!! How are you feeling? Any different?
AFM - Got to run and feed the kids breakfast - its 9.40am and they are starving ... BAD MUMMY!!! Footy show tonight - Yeeha!
Nikki - nah don't really feel different, besides horrid spouts of nausea I have to remind myself that I'm pregnant lol still in shock but very excited. :crossfingers: he or she is as good and easy as Cooper. I hope it doesnt rain all weekend that would suck. Have fun none the less
Oh I forgot about Easter lol. Friends of ours are driving down from brissy with their 4 month old bubba and staying the weekend, can't wait
raffy interesting names. Delta is really cute. Daylen I've never heard of and it sounds a bit odd because of that, but I think it also sounds cute and I would totally get used to it and can imagine it working well in your family :) Glad coops needles went well, laughing afterwards hehe cheeky boy. He is still a really good size, around the same size as V was last time he was measured. We have needles and weigh in next wed.
pretz glad to hear you are feeling better. oh your poor kitty cat :( I hope it is nothing sinister.. good luck for Noah's baptism. V is not getting christened or anything like that. I wanted to have a naming day for him, but his father would not agree to it and I'm sure it will be too hard to organize and agree between us.. so I just haven't bothered. Maybe we can agree by his birthday and sort of do it combined with his bday..
afm saw my old boss this morning, can get casual work to start with, hopefully then after a little while I'll have the permanent shifts that I need. Also got extra money in my account today, the education entry payment and supplement (from centrelink) I got a one off $208 for starting my course. And then $62 extra each fortnight for study expenses (this will at least cover my petrol to get there and back so I'm happy). However the baby bonus runs out next fortnight so I may be up $62, but I'm down $407 so overall still down. Hence why I need to find work.
I just have to do a medical at the GP (requirement) and hopefully start work in a week or two :D
V is well his bottom has healed up and his chest has cleared up. He's being cheekier than ever!! looking forward to Easter and catching up with ALL our family on Sunday. The 5 great grandkids will be together for only the 2nd time ever (and at xmas V was too little to play). It will be crazy cos the other 4 are toddlers..!
Brydz - I love the name Daylen, I sorta came up with it and then I was searching the net for other names and saw it on there lol so I can't claim I made it up. I'm so glad v is feeling better, congrats on getting some work, even if it is casual, it's a foot in the door, well done babe. Have fun seeing all your family for Easter, sounds chaotic but loads of fun, won't be long and v will be running around with the others :)
AFM - went to another young parents group today and then tackled the shops. It was mad in there, I just Barged through people with my pram though haha there fault if they don't move. Went and cleaned mums house today coz that's where my friends will be staying as my mum and sister are in Perth, then went and walked all three dogs which was insane lol. OMG if coopers teeth don't come through soon I'm gonna go in there and get them myself. He is soooooooooooo grumpy. Just drugged him up on bonjella and panadol and filled his belly with milk and he seems much happier now playing in his bouncer.
Also for the ladies that don't come on here often, unfortunately the signature guidelines have changed so as of monday we are no longer allowed pictures in our tickers :(
Anyways gonna scoot, put Cooper to bed and then curl up in mine and watch underbelly :D
Hi girls.
Happy & Safe Easter to all of you, your families and esp your babies!!!!
I have been reading but just not had time to post or really not feeling positive about things. Most days are pretty much a struggle but I will get there.
Alannah is 7 months old now...well the other day anyway. She has, as you prolly read on FB, all 8 teeth now. No more gummy smiles. :( I spoke to the CHN the other day and she is now on 3 meals per day. She has her farex in the morning with pureed fruit and milk mixed though. She only eats about half a cup but that is fine. She knows when she is full. After her sleep (after lunch) she has baby custard or Hienz yoghurt. (going shopping tonight and will by some normal, fresh yoghurt as recommended by the CHN) At dinner time, she has some vegies. With Noah I just gave him whatever vegies and never waited days in between like they say too and to this day - he has the best appetite. I was planning on doing that with Alannah but she is a much smaller eater, more girly!;) So I will just do one food for a few days. The other night she had sweet potato and gagged on it! Last night she had plain mash poatato with her milk mixed through and she loved it! So, mash potato it is for a week or less...maybe!
No crawling, nothing like young Master Ben from what I read!!! We put up our gates though to train the older ones!! "No big boy toys near Alannah" is the new rule.
Well, she is weaned too. Tuesday just gone was our last breastfeed. Am pretty shattered by it as I will never breastfeed ever again. I feel like everytime we move onto another stage, grow out of more clothes etc, a piece of my heart is ripped out. I know we were not planning on more kids but I have no choice now which I still find hard to deal with.
Blah! Can feel the negative thoughts coming through now so I will finish up.
I hope you are all well.
Thanks girls.
xxxxx
Vix - Lovely to see you on here and to hear from ya! Still thinking of you each and everyday honey and sending you huge, big hugs!! Way to go on Alannah having 3 meals a day now! Woot woot! TBH I just give Noah whatever (vegies and fruits) without waiting the 3 days too, sometimes I'll give it to him 2 days in a row, but he has seemed ok with everything so far and neither me, nor DH suffer from food allergies so I'm guessing he won't either....??
Raffy - LOVE the names you have picked for your future bub! Like Brydz, I haven't heard of the name Daylen either but it's different and unique and love it!! Thanks honey. Milo (my cat) seems to be doing ok now, but not sure what is going to happen as we haven't had the results yet, will probably get them after Wednesday this coming week due to all the public holidays and everything. Sorry to hear about your Mum's cat with his tumours as well, that's horrible. Glad that she is ok now though. Yay on those nice dark lines of your HPT's and WTG on Coop's fantastic weight and lenght. Hope Coop's has been better for you the last couple of days. Noah has been a bit out of sorts with his daytime naps and very clingy and cranky when I don't give him enough attention.
Nikki - Thanks honey for the hugs. Like mentioned to Raffy, won't get the results until probably Wednesday this coming week, but I too am praying that it's not cancer or a tumour. Funny you should say that you hate sewing, I do too, infact, I can't really sew at all  that's why MIL was here to help me, she's great at sewing!!! lol Have a long way to go with the curtains though (our room, Noah's room and spare room has been finished for ages - my own Mum actually finished them when she was here last year lol) and now it's just living and dining room that needs to be done, but it'll probably take MIL a while as there are soooo many bloody windows! lol Sorry to hear that Ben is still waking 2-3 times a night. Wish I could give you some tips/info/help/answers, but unfortunately I don't. All I will do is send you a huge, big  and say that it'll probably get better eventually (hopefully sooner rather than later though). Just staying home for Easter and doing a few things around the house and tomorrow is Noah's Christening/Baptism and we have the in-law's over for lunch. Hope you have a great time down south and that it doesn't rain (not all the time anyway).
Brydz - Thanks honey, I will take lots of piccies tomorrow of Noah's Baptism and post them on FB when I get a chance next week. :) I hope that you and J will be able to sort out and agree on a naming day for Vinny. :crossfingers: WTG on the casual work on your previous job that's excellent! Hope it turns into something more permanent for you too though. Have a great time tomorrow with your family and with all the kids/toddlers/babies!
Hello to everyone else!
HAPPY EASTER GIRLS to you, your DH's/DF's/DP's and your beautiful babies!! Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the chocolate!! lol
AFM, feeling much better now after some meds and anti-b's. Went to GP on Thursday morning as I woke up with this rash all over my body which reminded me of the time I was 17 and had Rubella (only difference was this time it wasn't itchy). Was a bit worried cos I thought if I did have Rubella, what would happen with Noah...? Anyways, GP said that it looks like an allergic reaction and if anything could be from the gastro-bug-virus I had and that he thinks I was a bit dehydrated. Gave meds and anti-b's and by last night the rash was almost entirely gone! :) Feeling much better and had a good day with DH and Noah today cleaning up our office and doing a few things around the house.
Well then, I am going to head off and reply to an email I have wanted to reply to for nearly a week now and then off to have a cuppa tea and watch a movie with DH.
Love to you all!

Morning lovely ladies, happy Easter to you all and your bubbas
Vix - :comfort: I wish I had the perfect thing to say to make you feel better. Thanks for popping in and updating us on your beautiful bubbas. Happy 7 months to alannah for the 19th, and wow on having all 8 teeth, Cooper has none haha, df didn't get his first til 10 months so it looks like coops is taking after him in that respect.
Pretz - glad Milo seems to be doing better :) hope it's nothing serious and he makes a full recovery, all the best for noahs baptism, can't wait to see pics :) also glad your feeling better to and the rash wasn't rubella  what a relief, im sure.
AFM - df went away this morning for Anzac day, and will be back Tuesday. We are dog sitting for friends who also went away and frankly I'm ready to murder this dog, bronco (our dog) is an outside dog, but Jasper (our friends dog) is always inside and sleeps in our friends bed at night, so he has been yapping from the second he got here. I can't let him inside coz Cooper plays on the floor all the time and the cat food is in the laundry, which will make him sick if he eats it! DF told him off 3 times during the night cos he wouldn't shut up. It's doing my head in. He will shut up if you go out and tell him off but as soon as you close door he starts again! Dogs like these make me appreciate bronco so much more as I seriously don't think I've ever heard him bark unless we've told him to 'talk' anyways that's my vent for today and a reminder to myself to never buy a small yappy dog lol hope you all have a fabulous day with all your family and kiddies xx
Afternoon ladies.
HAPPY EASTER!!!
especially to all the first time bubbas..!!
I didn't have the bunny turn up with eggs this year. V has been spoilt in the last week, he got some new pjs, a nice new jumper and some more on layby, a few new toys, more toys and some books in another layby and a personalized easter photo card thing. I'll post a pic up on fb of it.
Waiting for mum to get home from work and then we are all heading to my nans for our annual easter hunt. (the kids hunt anyway). Hoping the weather holds out, been looking rain like this morning. Yuk.
Hope you all are well.
raff hope the morning sickness stops soon.
vix Yeh that would suck, it would really bring it home when other people have bubs and you know your baby making has been finalized. But just remember that you have 3 amazingly beautiful kids anyway :D you are very lucky! Alannah is beautiful. She is doing really good. 8 teeth. wow! vinny has 1 so far. 2nd one won't be far off.
as for Vinny:
very cheeky. getting cuter and cheekier by the day.
more mobile, he wriggles and wriggles and does lots of 360s on the floor now. Pushes himself forward by lifting his bum and pushing off with his feet. its so cute.
he still has NEVER rolled back to front.. is anyone else not doing that yet? I think he is lazy. lol
*TMI* the abscess on his bum looked almost healed on Wed at the drs. but it has since gotten a lump under it again and this morning I squeezed it and lots of yuk came out *TMI* it was yuk. think he'll be going back to the dr for more antibiotics. and might need it properly drained again. I feel horrible that it is still infected. But it is right next to his bum, and no matter how quick I am of course poo is going to get into the area. I feel like the dr should have given him a dressing for it to protect it while it healed!
