OH and mother of the year NOT here...house is a mess tonight after chrisco was delivered...stuff everywere and the kids were running amoke...but hey their kids only once and the mess...well it will still be there tomorrow to clean up ;) gone are the days when I was an anal biartch about cleaning..life is to short to be so up tight. Ive taken a leafe out of Nelle's book (thanks hon) smile more, love more and bugger the mess.

Just a quickie, for some reason I stopped getting notifications from this thread so all this chatter i didn't know about lol.

So sorry kell about your FIL, its awful seeing them like that at the end, try to remember him how he was prior. I hope he is being kept comfortable and pain free. Its great he got to meet and get to know both his grandkids. Thats prolly why he has hung on and fought.

Hello Kell and Cads! Sorry to hear about your FIL Kell, hope he's comfortable and at peace.

Lol Maz, my strategy in this house has been the hidden storage, I just go through every now and then and throw everything in those baskets. :lol: And culling - the kids have hardly any toys now and still don't play with everything!

Wow Anna! Four is my favourite number. Are things still going well with Ry? Make sure you guys nip any issues in the bud with counselling or whatever you need, particularly if you go for #4 - that will be a testing time for you guys. :hug:

How are people going with the heat? We only have two fans but we seem to be doing okay so far. Rans is angling for air con, fine by me.

Four is a nice number isnt it Nelle lol It wouldnt happen for awhile, like june/july next year. I definately want 2 or 2.5ish years between Stellan and the next one, not to mention I need a rest lol

So sorry to hear that Kel, may he rest in peace now. Thinking of you and your family.

Yes, a little bean has snuck into my tummy :lol: I've had a scan which showed I'm 4 weeks, and I'll have a dating scan at 8 weeks. AF has been completely out of whack since my last m/c.

Kell- Big hugs :hug: I'm thinking and praying for you and your family. Take time to grieve.

Jodi- Congrats! Its very exciting news.

Nelle- yes get air con, lol, I love mine! I need to do a toy cull big time but I'm one that struggles to get rid of things.

Maz- I gave up worrying bout mess, its always there! I just do what I can and not stress anymore.

Helen- Hope evrything ok with T, she prolly just wants to do everything in her own time. Sucks bout QLD, I'd def be up for Tassie next year we can all come down and crash your town lol. I missed the twins b'day, happy late birthday to them!

Hope you don't mind me popping in out of the blue like this buuuut i need some advice. I cannot remember the last time nor the first time bailey gave me grief but alas *brings white lacey hanherchief to forhead like a damsal in distress*...he is giving me grief now at the age of 3 yrs!

Bailey has been a good eater since his first morsel of rice cereal (all that time ago!). he goes through massive eating stages and then cuts back a bit but this week - **** - might have eaten 2 slices of bread, 1 apple, 2 icey poles, a mouthful of yoghurt, 1L of milk, 1L of water/juice, 2 reasonable bowls of cereal (mini wheats), 4 little tom thumb tomatoes....um.....a dozen cooked chips, 2 nuggets, 1/2 pack of wiggles biscuits....ALL WEEK! :o He has lost weight rapidly. The shorts he is wearing today (size 2) are sitting around low on his butt therefore showing off the Bob the Builder waistband on his undies! He is tired, grouchy, yet happy at the same time. I am stuffed as to what to do.....today he won't even go and do a wee. It is 3.11pm as I type this and he has been up since 6am with a 90 min sleep at midday. Surely he must be busting but everytime I ask he says no. Can't make him go to the toilet.

DH and I go on about his brother (my BIL) and the massive amount of food he eats and all the weight he has stacked on (he can eat a whole chicken in one sitting plus vegies etc) and unfortunately we have done this in front of Bailey.....I am concerned as Bailey said to me on Monday / Tuesday " I eat too much food Mum"...WTF?????

What have I done? What have I created?

I could ask for the "oh he'll be right sweetheart BS" but that ain't gonna help me or him! Has anyone been through this with their 3 yr old?

I am seriously crapping myself...mainly due to the weight he has lost in less than a week. I accidently said if he refused to eat he would wind up in hospy...oh when will i keep my big mouth shut????? :shakehead: *sigh*

Hope someone can relate...not sure what I am asking for...feel bad popping in like this but you guys have been a team since forever and I know you will give it to me straight without the BS......please.....:pray::redface:

Hope everyone is as well as can be expected with everything life throws at us.....we are doing well considering we have a few $ issues...but I guess who doesn't right?

Jodie - Congrats :dance:.....we are thinking of ttc for one final bubba in 2010! I must be nuts...barely dealing with 2 as it is...and my unrealistic expectations of cleaning etc

Kel - I did read of your loss on facebook....sorry to hear about FIL....:hug: I bet you have some wonderful memories to hold onto.

vixstar - this is a tough one! What I do with Nina is let her know the importance of eating and drinking water. I tell her that she needs to eat so she can grow up to be a big girl like Mummy. And that if she doesn't eat, she'll get sick and will have to go the dr. Also that if she wants lots of energy to play, then she'll need to eat. I dunno, I suppose all you can do is be persistent with trying to get him to eat. Do you think he might be getting sick, or is it more of a physchological thing?

Umm....I keep thinking it is physocological.....maybe he is getting sick.....he does not have any temps etc like you would expect....I am at a loss! :dunno:

Might get him to find something in the pantry to eat. I never let him in there as we have junk food in there too! :redface: Might be better he eats something rather than nothing....

Just saying thanks Jodi....will see how we go over the next 24 hrs......might let him raid the pantry rather than me not letting him in there incase he eats junk food....something is better than nothing!

yep, let him raid the pantry. Something is better than nothing. I remember about 9 months ago Nina went through a stage of ONLY eating 2 minute noodles :shakehead: It was insane, but as long as she was eating I wasn't too worried.
