Yeah we are Ness. Things have been great. I think a little space to think has been good for both of us. We spend every weekend as a family. Only prob is I worry playing families on the weekend is all well and good but would he be or feel different if it was everyDAY, you know? I dont know what solution there would be to test that though.

    CONGRATULATIOS RACH AND FAMILY

AnnaT - It is good that you are working on trying to make things work.

Ness - You seem really settled at the moment. maybe the relief of the divorce being over is a good thing.

Nelle - are you all settled?

Caddie - How are you feeling.

    Hi to everone else.

For us - well I have been working a litte so that is nice.

J is still being a $hit. he has anoather hearing test in a week or two. Speech therapy is going really well and very quickly we have seen a great improvement. I think it is just that he is developmentally he was just going to improve anyway. His latest thing to say to me when he is angry at me is "I am going to throw mummy on the road and a car will smash mummy." He got that from throwing his batman on the road, and I told him a car would smash it if he did that. - Generally I just ignore him.

Congrats on the safe arrival of Luke Archer. Good luck with the expressing, it's so tiring but rewarding if it works.

meg - what you wrote the other day reminds me of something Nina once said to me. She said "I'm gonna smash your head in Mummy" I nearly fell off the chair! I just explained to her how that made mummy feel, and she hasn't said anything like that again.

anna - oh wow, congrats on reconciling! I hope it works out for you guys.

ness - I agree, you do sound really settled, which is great to hear. Good luck with the finalisation of the divorce next month.

As for us, well Nina was really sick last week with vomiting & diarreah, it lasted for 6 days! She's lost 3kg in the meantime, and looks sooooo skinny. She's tall, so that doesn't help. I got a little sick at the beginning of the week, but I seem to be recovering now. I think I have a chest infection, but I've been lazy and haven't been to the dr I've just been sooooo busy last and week and this week.

    Hey girls,

    Yep, it's been long time.

Rach - huge congratulations on Luke Archer, love the name and he is beautiful, so now you have two gorgeous boys, they will be best buddies. how is the expressing going? How exciting that the Sept 06 mummies are still sharing in the joy of each others new bubbas.

Maz - I see your comments on Facebook and man they make me laugh, keep 'em coming. I agree it is amazing our little ones are three, who would have thought when we first started on here that we would be still here three years later, yay to us!!!

Shell - how's it going at your house with your two, do you think it is starting to get a bit easier, it's a juggling act, hey.

Jodi - wow on poor Nina being sick - 3 kg is alot to lose for a tot, hope she is starting to put back on some of the weight.

Meg - how is J going? Have you had the results from his hearing test?

Nelle - how's the new house going, bet you are loving it.

Caddie - you sound hectic, your business is a boomer, I must check out your website properly with xmas coming up and some of my friends have had new bubs too.

Sorry I have missed out lots of other personals.

Well, we are all well. We had an awesome time in the UK, the kids were great, well behaved on the planes, etc and slept well. So DH is back in Africa I am here, he is back in three weeks for Christmas, etc. Soon my little man Finn will be one, he is such a darling. Rylee is a crazy lady, full on and very entertaining.

Ok better go, things are going mad.

Ness - OMG, breaking up with you on the eve of your birthday, how dare he! I guess he didn't want to get you a present

Nina is slooooooowly putting on weight. Poor thing though, she was so sick and fragile. She's back to her happy self full of energy, now to beef her up.

Far out Ness. I hope one day you will be so happy that you will look back at today and roll your eyes and smile at how far you've come. Happy birthday you oldie.

Great to hear El Nino's putting on weight Jodes.

Can't believe Finn will be ONE Laurin! Full on! Glad your dh will be back for Christmas, will he spend much of next year in Africa?

Lol at Vyolett Maz, she sounds like her mum - so good luck with that!

Huge congrats on Luke Rach, how's he settling in with you?

    How is everyone else?

New house is super, we're all settled in really, I just have to find the motivation to sand and paint white a whole heap of furniture. Now we've settled, I've sort of lost my mojo there so I need to motivate myself, otherwise the things will still need doing in 5 or 10 years, and I really don't want that! Boys are fun and charming as usual. Booking Riv in for a hearing test and waiting on a call from the speechies up here - because we've moved we're back to the end of the queue again, but annoying but better than nothing!

    Rach-Congrats

Well heaps to catch up on, but no time sorry. Just jumping on quickly to let you know that things are getting better. Although other things are tougher, sorry cant make the big meet-up, which sucks but I had to pull the money for other things. Kids are all good, Tallulah is being kept an eye on for developmental problems, and I try not to worry, I think she is just slow in doing things, she is all turned on in other aspects.

Take care ladies,....oh and Ambz congrats and AnnaT great to see that things are working out.

    Hi Ladies..

Its been a while since ive dropped in. Hope everyones kiddies had a great 3rd birthday! Boy the time has flown.

Jodi.. awww glad Ninas picking up now. Thats not good at all. Jesse had similar just before his birthday last year. Was terrible. Poor thing. Hope youre feeling better now too.

Nelle.. great to hear about the new house!

Laurin.. wow that year had flown! Good to hear you had a great time in the UK.

Rach.. contratulations on the birth of Luke!!!! Hes very cute!

Meg.. good to hear the speech theorapy is going well. I hope its just a phase hes going through xx

    As for us..
Our house is currently sick AGAIN.. minus me so far. Grahame and the kids have all had temps and flus. Seems to be a continuous cycle here.

My FIL has what looks like only days to live.. if even. Hes done so well considering he was given 12 months, what, 3 years ago or so. His cancer was slowly getting worse, was in alot of pain. He came down with pneumonia about a month ago and also had alot of blood clots in his lungs.. was in hospital for about 4 weeks. He lost a hell of a lot of weight and got bad depression. They sent him home. He came out a completely different person. He looked as if he'd aged literally 20 years since he was in there. He was slowly losing his mind also. Would come out with really strange things, that just werent normal. Kept falling asleep every few minutes. He went back into hospital last week as he had problems with his oxygen. Then came home again on Friday. Saturday couldnt walk, lost control of his upper lip, was shaking, couldnt administer his drugs, so nurse called an ambulence to take him back to hospital. Today, he doesnt recognise anyone and test have shown he had a heart attack at home Saturday morning. Jesse is scared of him and his oxygen mask. Keira is fine. I just cant believe how fast that time has gone since he was diagnosed with the lung cancer. This really couldnt have happened to a greater human being. Im just so glad i was able to give him a grand son and the grand daughter he always wanted. He has always been like a second father to me. Its so very sad. We dont want to lost him, but hate for him to have to go through all of this.

    On a happier note..
Jesse's such a lovely little boy (if i dont say so myself ). Very much my little shadow and just loves to be a helper. Hes so so smart. Counts backwards, spells words, knows all his shapes, uses my computer like a normal person! We're on the waiting list still for speech theorapy for his lisp. Hes doing wonderful at his swimming and loves preschool. Hes finally toilet trained woohoo! And was trained in 1 day! Cant believe it. One day he just said he wanted to go to the toilet and that was it. He's been ever since.. a few accidents here and there. He also gets up during the night to go. We said farewell to dummies about a month ago. So hes really doing well. Hes such a great big brother to Keira. Hes so protective of her. Theyve never faught and are just best pals. Its so nice. The downer with him is hes petrofide of doctors! I have no idea why. Just one day when i took Keira and she was looking in Keira's ears, he freaked out. Then every time we go near a doctor for him or anyone hes freaks out. Screams, cries etc. I have no idea why. Last time he was really sick, last August, we went to the doctor and he was ok with them then.. and we'd been back after that and he was ok... so dont think it was him getting scared of being sick. I just have no idea why. Not good considering, as i said, we've had sickenesses every second week in our house since Autumn.
Keiras growing up very fast! Little miss attitude lol. Shes a sweetheart but loves to throw tanties if she doesnt get her way. lol she chose the wrong mother to try and manipulate!
Jesse's getting very excited about Christmas. Finally this year they can understand! We put up our tree on the weekend, early i know, but he just loves it.

Thats about it for me for now... my neck is killing (slept the wrong way last night!).

    Hope everyone is well.

    xx

helen - can't be easy for you with what you've been through and with what Tallulah is going through. Did you manage to get into the clinic yet?

great to hear from you kel. Sounds like Jesse is going great! And a massive woohoo to him for tt in a day!!!! That's so weird about the dr's. Nina loves the dr, so much that she's constantly pretending to be one at home. Maybe she'll be a brain surgeon one day LOL
So so sorry to hear FIL. It must be so hard on you all seeing him like this. May his remaining days be peaceful.
