Ange, has he really got a toe for a thumb? I was up really late the other night and saw one of those 'amazing' medical shows and they did that for a fella too. Good luck with the cake making today too.
G it's really cold and windy here today too. We had another duststorm last night and every now and then it would rain so I have to clean the windows today because they look terible with the dust set on them from the rain.
Clare, my Niece is only just into a sz 5 and she will be 3 in January and she has such tiny little feet. My girls were like that too - they only needed a 5 for the length at this age but because DH and I both kindly passed on such wide feet they always need the next size up.
MD, I didn't want you to feel embarrassed :hug: I guess at the time you joined was the same time all the RAK was being done so it would have been easy to miss. That's so lovely for someone to send you such a gorgeous gift. Is the party still on for today?
Oh and I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Maddy for tomorrow because we will be out all day and I wont get a chance to say it tomorrow. So I hope you have a wonderful day precious girl!
Not much happening here today except for it being cold and windy and like I said above I will have to clean the outside windows because they are just filthy. I reckon it would have been worse last night than it was the other day for dust as it was a lot windier last night and there is a thicker layer of dust on the car today LOL. And I will have to get all the folding chairs out to see how dirty they are so we can take them tomorrow. Other than that I am hoping for an easy day curled up with my new Dan Brown.

Clare I was PMSL when I read about your DH's mum's party - sounds like my kinda scene (esp the medieval dancing ROFL)- does this mean you have to wear a pointy headdress with a scarf coming out the top?

Oz: ha ha! i loved my bump too! felt really sad when i thought that it wouldnt last LOL!
MM: when is Ms party? tomorrow?
MD: thankfully no pointy hats but rather boring convos on the politics between rival medieval dance groups and their "bastardisation" of the dances LOL! i just decided to ply myself with the vino and eat until i fell asleep on the couch. it was hard pfffftttt lol!
Ange: trust me, i wouldnt be too jealous. the ILs are all mad. completley bonkers. so i try to go out often, little harder now with DD as she needs her sleep. but am def enjoying the wine and fine foods.
AFM: mmmm prosciuto! oh and the FIGS! they are so delectable! DHs dad has an olive grove and we went there today and i ate figs straight of the tree...the tree is like a century in the making so imagine!
the party was ok in the end. i just drank alot of wine and fell asleep LOL! today we are catching up with friends which should make things more fun (family can be soooo complicated...so not used to it anymore!)

Clare - sounds fun there, hope you manage to get out and about - it isnt easy being with exteded fam 24/7 esp when you arent always near them iykwim - can get underneath each others feet. Teh aprty sounds 'interesting'. i hope the vino helped!
Sherie - did you end up camping? how does A enjoy it? camping isnt usually my thing but I'd love to take N. hmmm guess i should have done that before J came along... might have to wait a yr or so i guess...
Ginger - did y9ou find shaun? i dont know who he is (and sounds like i should be glad) but i am happy topop into our ABC shop for you and post to you if you want.
Ange - good to hear from you. how are the plans coming along?
AFM - all is good here. we had a great family day yest - went to gymbaroo in the morning and then shopping/sushi in the city - our sat tradition. then spent the afternoon pottering at home, watching the grand final and playing. was really fun. not sure what we will do today - having really rotten weather so options are limited - was hoping to go to petting zoo and floriade but not sure... they have dine up the park near us now and it is fab - we went there after playgroup on friday.. so maybe we will take N later if it isnt raining.

just a quicky from me as we are re-arranging our house at the moment. moving our whole family room set-up into the lounge room and vice versa. bought a new tv that dh is mounting on the wall as we speak. it's crazy hectic mad around here!

no i haven't found shaun the sheep yet and i'm starting to get panicked! my friend is making a paddock with flakes as the fence and i have nothing to put in it!!!!!

G: say whaatt?! LOL! sounds like fun at your house with the redecorating! i always find doing things like that can really lift a place and mood.
Jaz: ha ha! yeah we are having fun, where there is food for me there is happiness...i am a simple creature at times lol
AFM: well we had a LOVELY night last night. took leila to a friends house..well i say house loosely. they live in a 16th century castle in the foothills of the mountains of tuscany. with frescos and all. it is a 4 storey sprawling place. they have 4 kids in age from 3 months to 8 years. and other friends had their kids so the young uns numbered around 10ish and they all went mad. running around until about midnight :o. so much fun, and it is not often that you get to sit on chairs that were made in the 1500s in a massive dining hall that no doubt has seen many different ppl and things pass through. leila LOVED the space. she couldnt believe her eyes LOL! needless to say we are all very tired, and are off to more family things today. we are going to see DHs nonna (she is quite unwell ATM after having had a stroke so DH is a bit nervous, but i am sure that it will be fine).
other than that not much to report. cant wait to post pics of our trip though! leila is going through a gorgeous phase (note the mummy bias LOL!)

Ginger - i am going to the city tomorrow hopefully, i will look for a shaun for you - i can express post it and it will be there in time. the flake is a great idea for the fence, i used those choc stick biscuits but they were gard to find and nearly resulted in me using scotch fingers - hemnce why i have so many choc scoth fingers in the house atm (well actually we dont have that many left anymore...) anyway let me know if you want me to look for one and post to you. i did a barnyard ake and i just used normal animals? or is he that into shaun... geez te things we stress about
Clare - sounds divine,. i miss europe so much. hope Dh nonna was ok. i cant wait to see pics.
