MD sounds like you have loads to think about. My sis had a reduction some years ago where they removed her nipple and she has more sensitivity now (and hates it lol). Glad the surgeon was as lovely as you remembered though.

Clare good luck with the flight, I hope you have a fab trip. DH and I would love to take L to Italy to meet his great Nonna.......... maybe one day. Where did you find the travel magnadoodle? I looked everywhere for one.

AFM: all ok here, had a mini meltdown this morning, probably because of AF arriving and DD deciding to throw a 2 hour tantrum after a sleepless night. oh joy. so decided to leave the house with DD in tow and we caught a tram (she loves them) and instead of going straight to kindy and work we got off a few stops early and had a run around a park and stopped off for a bubbacino (latte for me!) and a BIG bowl of fruit salad topped with vanilla yoghurt. it was just what the doctor ordered. so feel much better lol!
having ****tails with the girls tonight as well, which should be a blast!

I had to cancel my massage today (still have Miss Junkyeyetis at home :rolleyes:) which is a pity cos my bod needs some TLC right now after my bosom self esteem plummeted yesterday...Maybe we need to get out into the sunshine for own bubbacino date. ****tails sounds like fun!

Ginger I meant to ask you whether the eggs you got had little "stands" on the bottom or are they properly egg shaped all the way round? I found some with stumps on the bottom and the virgo in me couldn't handle it LOL. I just know they would appeal to Missy E's tidy sensibilities. I dragged out an old tub of threading spools (you know they're shaped like a cotton reel and you can thread them onto shoelaces etc) the other day and Missy E just loved them!

Is anyone else having a total wardrobe crisis when it comes to summer clothes? I've got a few size 2 tshirts - which are already a bit on the short side (hmmmm *makes mental note to take Miss E to Mach clinic for height, weight & developmental check*) but she worked thru those in record time earlier this week (warm weather encourages grubby & wet backyard play) and this morning I had to put her in a shrunken size 5 (WTF? not sure where that one came from LOL). Any one seen some nice but affordable gear around and if so where???

MD: target was having a sale the other day...we also hit Best and Less when i was in QLD and bought up BIG for summer rough/kindy clothes. she will be very 'gold coast' (read: gold sparkley glitter motifs) lol!
we also hit 'Savers' (a big chain of second hand clothing stores). the one here in brunswick has heaps of baby/kids wear and because the community is mostly migrant...although that is changing...we get alot of european brands through. i always make sure i buy the brand name stuff when i am there...the ONLY time i can afford 'absorba' LOL! cheap as chips.

md- no my eggs definitely don't have stands! lewis would hate that! i'm pretty sure the ones from modern teaching aids are perfectly round.
total t-shirt crisis here. we are in sizes 3 and 4 now. myer had heaps of sale stuff i noticed yesterday.
this will freak you all out- jimmy is in size 1 wondersuits!

it's such a beautiful day up here today, lewis has been feeding kookaburras salami out of his hand on the deck.
i'm starting to get a little freaked out by all the brochures for 'fire-proof bunkers' that keep getting put in our letterbox.....

ginger - that would definitely be worrying reading the brochures. yay for you with the trampoline - the girls love their trampoling (and if you've been doing your pelvic floor exercises, jumping on the trampoline is a good mummy workout ;) ) Have you ever visited the website Calorie King australia? I've been entering the foods I eat at meal times, and it calculates how many calories you've consumed. You can also enter all of your measurements on there, and it keeps track of everything for you.

md - alot for you to think about really isn't it? (did your doc think he was on an episode of the Swan or something ?????) I'm sure that your answer will come to you. How is Miss H feeling?

Just had a few mums & kids over for a play date, including 13 wk old baby twin girls...ahhh cluck cluck cluck!

MD - I just had a brochure put in my letter box today from country road, i know they are usually not cheap but the brochure said they are having a 40% off sale & a further 20% if you are a member....tempting!

Rainy - When is L's birthday party? Yay on the tramp!!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Alister - he had a great day and is plumb puckered out now LOL. Scored some awesome pressies too. I still can't believe I have a 2 year old again! It's the most precious age I think - the completely transition from baby to child *sniff*. The cake did turn out awesome if i do say so myself LOL - it was dead simple too - only took me half an hr to decorate it.

We're doing OK for shirts/T-shirts - mix of 2 and 3 depending on brand. Can't go past Sprout and Milkshake though from Myer. G I checked out all the country road stuff and everything is pastel!? So not to my liking so I avoided it LOL. DH would have a fit if I put a pink shirt on him. But the trouble i'm having is finding shorts - nothing has elasticised waist bands or adjustable waist bands and even some 1's are too big around the middle as he's just so lean - he does't have a great fat belly to hold them up LOL so I'm on the hunt for shorts. Oh and shoes - I brought a pair of size 7 sandals in canb, clarkes too no less so not cheap and they are only *just* the right size so he will be in an 8 soon!

Had challenging time, not sure who reads things on BB, so wont elaborate, but man it is goooood to be home! Don't you wish you could marry your husband without the family attached sometimes? Or is it just me??? Was nice to see SIL and their kids though. :D

MD- Great news on last roid round. Re boob: if it were me, i would get the boob done. I don't think i would ever do it under normal circumstances but if i was put in your situation i think i would. I used to love my hooters, now they are sorry looking sacks, that could not only hold a pencil under them, but a whole derwent set. :o So i guess as much as i'm not into cosmetic surgery, put in the situation i'd be secretly a bit pleased. iykwim

Oz- OUCH! Poor you. Not much room left on that ticker!

Clare- How is your oma going? So pleased she seems to be doing better than expected.

G- Once you go Mac you will never go back. The laptops start at about $1400 now i think. They have come down in price a bit. We got a workstation though b/c it was $400 cheaper and had loads more memory. They are very well designed, easy to use, harder to hack, i love, love mine. I don't think i'll ever buy a pc again. And what happened to loving the curves?? You were my inspiration to embrace the rolls. Does this mean we are power walking next coffee???

Sas is kinda crawling backwards, commando style. She does crazy push-ups on her hands and toes. weird. A lot of rocking on hands and knees going on too. She is also getting 2 teeth, not sleeping and keeping mumma up all night. Lucky she's cute or i might have given her back. ;)
Lu sounds like she is on track with the rest of the terrific twos in here! NO is the answer to everything. So when i say would you like a banana. She says NO! So i say ok and then move onto the next thing. She very quickly changes her mind and says she wants the banana. If i don't make a fuss and move on it seems to work most times around here. i do find it harder when i am sleep deprived though.

We had a great time fishing, Lu was amazed at the fish we caught off the beach. She was touching it and it slipped out of DH's hand and started flapping in the sand. She had a total freak out, it was pretty funny! She was terrified, but we assured her it was all ok. ;)

I have to go sort my crap out. We have a second birthday in Melb tomorrow, so i have to get unpacked and repacked. I'm tired just thinking about it.

Hey Ange!!! Great to see you back hun. I bet you will be glad to sleep in your own bed for a change LOL. Sas sounds just gorgeous! We don't get No so much as the 'why?' LOL - everything is 'why?' We do get our fair share of No's but the why's outweight it ROFL. And I meant to ask you before you went again too - are you going to have one last Christmas here or will you be moved by then?

Clare :rofl: at her looking all Gold Coast - I hate that type of shirt too. Target have some fab T's for the little ones - not the baby side but the kids wear ones and they last for ages and wash really well and the plain basic t's are only $9.99. I buy heaps for the girls from target every year.

Oz, it must be hard having a few october mummies have their bub's already :hug: It will be your turn soon enough.

MD, I reckon I would get the other boob done too - even though I am quite attached and happy with my boobs as they are (big and pendulous :rofl: ) I would worry that when they do the one they have to do, that it's going to look so much *different* to the other one that you might wish you had it done too because they aren't likely to make it look like the other one are they? I know you will decide which way is right for you though :hug:

Travel magna at target!! I got Sarah one and only saw 2 designs so got a 'semi' pretty one but then saw heaps of awesome ones the other week. But Sarah loves hers...great distractor and easy to cart into restaurants/shopping trips etc
