i know, I am glad, at least i know why she's up half the night upset. i feel so bad. It has been almost two weeks, but the fever only started in the last 2 days. Her leucocytes were off the chart and lots of RBCs too. Poor thing.

Ange, you're on to it now, she should start feeling better quite quickly. It's so hard to tell sometimes whether something is wrong - UTIs especially
Happy birthday Jimmy!! Enjoy your day! :) I'm a bit jealous of your boat sandpit - sounds AWESOME!
IsaD - we've been very happy so far with the catholic school system - the kids at this school have on the whole & individually been much kinder towards DD than they were at the old (public) school. Sad but true. We're planning to send her to a catholic high school - the local one has more structured/supported classes in Grades 8 & 9 (like a transition scheme) than the other local schools.
Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend - we're planning to take on DD2's room for a clean out of no-longer age appropriate items - did the bookshelves the other day (nearly killed me) - but I will keep a few of the favorites in a box. Am hoping to have DH help me cos that's the only way he ever pays attention to where to put things away (ie when he has invested time in organising them) otherwise it's close your eyes and throw into the cupboard
Happy first birthday gorgeous J-man! :bluecheer:
Happy Birthday Rockstar Mr J!!!
JM: so glad that you guys have a diagnosis. luckily most UTIs are cleared up really really quickly. almost immediate effects. xx
MD: i think we might caravan park it if there is one near the beach...leila loves sand and sand loves leila!
AFM: all good here today. DH just left for soccer but the house is clean, Leila is sleeping well (so hopefully not too many tanties this arvo!) and i have chocolate bullets to eat. am torturing myself by watching 'saving babies'. man oh man taht show is full on.
Hi everyone,
i'm so sorry i haven't been around lately - i really miss you gals :(
i've taken on some extra voluntary positions at the girls school, and it's consuming all of my child free time. ( i do enjoy a bit of pressure now and then, but i like my bb time too) Anyway, I haven't had a chance to read the thread, but please know i'm thinkin of you all.
have a great weekend.
ps - Hannihooha pooed on the toilet tonight - took herself there and out it came!!!! I think the Dora phone bribe clinched the deal. ;)
Jazah - good to see you!! :hooray: Yay for a Hannydunnypooh!
Cass - I can't bear to watch that stuff - so glad you had choccie bullet fortification!
Jazah: ooh spooky cause just after i posted i thought that it had been awhile since we heard from you! hmmm think i need to take a leaf outta your book and start bribing Leila LOL!
MD: i soo cannot look at chocolate bullets today...
Cass - I was gorging on bullets on the weekend too, but they did not meet the high standards of the dark chocolate Haigh's bullets I consumed the weekend before. Healthy eating starts today.
Happy Birthday little J!!! Wow, a year already!
Jaz - way to go Hannah!!
JM - glad that you know what is wrong with L now, is she feeling heaps better? Why all the extra tests, is it because it took so long to diagnose?
Sleeping - K got attached by mozzies (6 new bites) the night after I last posted so we've had a few issues since then. Last night at 1am she was absolutely inconsolable because I was going to sleep in the spare room, not DH. And then at 6:30 when she woke up, tears because Daddy was in the spare room, not mummy...... Dearie me.
I am away for two nights this week so I think DH will just move into the spare room for them and then we will both be in there a couple of nights while my sister and mum are down (more room for travel cot in our room for niece who apparently is waking up screaming in middle of night at moment - good sleepers in our family - NOT!!) We've also invested in some ultrasonic mosquito repeller to put next to K's bed. With all the rain we've had lately they are monstrous - I opened the door on the weekend to hang out the washing and I reckon 10 mozzies just rose out of the mat and came for me.
I just wanted to let you all know I made a pretty big announcement today https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ml#post2203425
Trill, it kinda feels like goodbye. :(
Awwww hun  it's not goodbye, it really isn't :). It is just me not doing all the behind the scenes stuff now.
*mwah* sherie...i loved what you wrote on your post...it was really powerful and it really seems like you have made the right decision for yourself and your family's new set of adventures
just wanted to let you know sherie that you've been a great supporter and you will be missed as a mod. totally understand your reasons though. hopefully we'll still see you in here heaps?
K slept in until 7:40 this morning - WOW!!! What a change from our recent 5:30 wake ups.
Trill, I'm sure you're not going to be able to stop checking in on all of us!
hi girls!
Cally: woot woo! now that is a decent waking time...what did you do...i soo need hints!
AFM: well we had to remove the change table from the room the other day as i went in the other night to tuck leila in (just before we went to sleep) and i didnt turn the light on went to her bed and she wasnt there!!! talk about scary. then i hear this snuffling noise and she i has fallen asleep ON the change table! :o
 Cass!!! I think our change table's days are numbered too, Missy E seems to think it's some sort of mountaineering platform. Pity, cos it's much easier to change her up there (still) cos she can't run away LOL. On the plus side, there's not really enough room in her bedroom anyway (it's a teeny weeny little room) so one less thing is one less thing. Was kinda hoping to keep it until we get past the TT but that ain't happening yet.
hi girls
i've got my boys trained to sleep in till 8am :)
just booked them both in to get a hair cut friday morning. wish me luck!
Cass - asleep on the change table!! OMG, I would have freaked! I don't know how I did it, she woke up unhappy at 5:30 and I assumed it was wake up time so brought her into the spare room for cuddles until 6. She lay down and then insisted on having the blanket shaken and next thing I knew she was asleep. She does it every now and then, these massive sleep ins - unfortunately they are never on weekend where we can take advantage of them too!!
Ging - wow, 8am, but if you're still having to get up to J each night you so deserve that!
MD - we got rid of the change table a while back. She much prefers to get changed on the floor - we were out for breakfast a few weeks back and had a dirty nappy to change and she lay on the floor next to the table in the middle of the restaurant ready to get changed!! Yeah, coz that's something other diners need to see!!
