Hi girls!
hope that everyone had a marvelous time for NYE!
Sherie: unfortunately the trip through floodwaters was on the way back to melbourne...so totally missed any chance to meet up with you...:( (DH reckons we need to plan another road trip so we can organise to meet up!!!)
MD: we must share similar DHs...it seems that whenever i get behind the wheel of the car on a road trip we get some kind of natural disaster happening lol! it's actually been a running joke for the last few years!
Cally: sounds like it wasnt too bad missing out on the car in the end. getting scratches fixed can be a real PITA.
AFM: well we had a FUN NYE! we headed to Yarra Park by the MCG for the fireworks at 9pm. got hit by a thunderstorm! was so fun! although the lightening was of some concern when the rain let rip it was gorgeous big PHAT drops that just soaked you through and everyone was laughing and running here and there. prior to the rain we also had two firetrucks turn up and they let some of the kids in the cabin (including Leila!) and then they doused everyone with water which was a welcome relief after the scorcher day we had.
-
Hey Girls,
Clare- OMG I've totally missed your news Congratulations being PG and I'm so happy for you:dance:
MD- All good here ATM touch wood... How are you going?
Cally- Have fun at the sales today and hope you nab some bargins
Well NYE was fun we just went to my cousins around the corner and had a street party, the kids had a ball they rode there scooters all night. Now just getting things back to normal well what ever normal is. Was just telling DH last night that babies are growing up so fast.... the boys will be 5 and Livi will be 3 where has the time gone.
Eating- Livi eats most things although her fav treat is chocolate lol
Well

Happy New Year to all of my lovely Baby Buddies and their families!!!! :)
2010 wow. I remember my friends and I would all wonder at what we'd be doing in the year 2000!!! We'd all say " oh my gosh!! we'll be 30!!!!!!! Now we're at 2010 already. I can't believe how fast life is going. My goal for this year, is to try and make every moment count. I spend too much time doing menial things, when i should be creating beautiful memories for myself and my family. (menial things do need to be done - but i need to prioritise ;) )
So, i'm going to log off now and go and read my book while Hannah is asleep, and J and Z are enjoying a ride on the jetski with their daddy.
have a good night everyone.
-
Jaz- Enjoy your mumma time.
-
Jazah - I know!! I've been so wrapped up in my own little world this year it didn't even occur to me until about 8.30 pm on NYE that we were staring down the barrel of a new decade!! Like you I can remember sitting around on the wooden benches at school speculating about what we would be doing in the year 2000...I can't even believe it's TEN years later :o. I'm gonna do that thread about what you've done in the last ten years, it has slipped past very fast.
I think you've hit the nail on the head with creating qual time with your family - yeah the other stuff matters but it's not the most important thing. I haven't made any NY resolutions this year...I need to rehab myself in areas right across my life - from cleaning the house through to getting a job and having a social life - but you can bet your bottom dollar I am a changed woman when it comes to assigning priorities.
Wow Leanne I can hardly believe your boys are going to be 5! That's a mindbender LOL. I must be getting better because I'm starting to feel impatient - impatient for the fluid to go away, for the swelling to go down, for Nooboob to soften, to have no pain anymore. I keep looking for that time machine my surgeon talks about but there are *none* anywhere, not even eBay .
-
PS Everyone...make sure you join my new group on FB...and invite all your friends :D!
-
HI girls!
Leanne: thanks babe! it has been a whirlwind time of year so easily missed...also makes it hard trying to book into drs and hospitals!
JaZaH: ohhh me too! i remember all us kidlets sitting around our lunchboxes imagining us living on the moon in 2000 ha ha!
how did mumma time go? did the kids have fun on the jetski? i remember always feeling a fine line between exhilaration and fear LOL! i was a scaredy cat though!
MD: oh is that your group?! i saw it...will have to join! i do like the concept have to say!
AFM: all good here. hormones are through the roof though so go from being happy as larry to crying into the jasmine bush because i am tired and hungry...all very dramatic lol!
Leila has been just a treasure lately. she has bloomed incredibly with my Mum around and is just a joy to be with. her talking is just taking off and thankfully appears to be with both languages without too much trouble...big relief so far i must say!
-
It is scary to think a new decade has started!
The IL's visit went really well. A is such a social bub she didn't mind them holding her at all and W was pleased to have people to help search for bugs.
He has been better going outside in the wind the past few weeks. I didn't click until yesterday, but it was at the same time he got a new bucket hat rather than a cap - he was hunting for it yesterday and when he found it and put it on he said "this hat will stop the wind going in William's ears". So the whole time it has been because of his ears.
Night times are still a problem - he is staying up until 9.30-10ish atm because we couldn't be bothered with the tanties. Last night he came out a couple of times and DH threatened to close the door so he said "Sorry for coming out, William will be a good boy now and go to sleep". Cute.
His speech has taken another leap, he refers to himself as 'I' rather than 'you' most of the time now and the sentences are getting longer and longer.
Clare, how is the morning sickness going? Did you have it long with L?
Has Kate been around? Hope everything is o.k.
-
hey everyone,
hope you all had a geat nye and are enjoying 2010 so far! it is strange it being 2010 time certainly is flying by!
had a pretty good nye, mum looked after the kids so we could go out.. DH got a bit drunk tho and spilt beer on me a few times which made me pretty annoyed.. all in all it was good tho.
DH is back to wok today so back to reality for us.. im still having alot of trouble getting things done.. the house got to a really bad place and dh had to pretty much spend his entire holidays fixing it :( i just feel so tired and crappy all the time and rediculously un motivated.. ive been trying really hard tho.. ive written up like a meal plan on the fridge to encourage me to cook instead of leaving it late all the time and getting take away to often, it seems to be working.. ive put in a more strict bedtime routine where the kids have a bath every night after dinner etc just little things to keep everything moving along.. i know its stuff i shoulda been doing already but better late than never.. i also made up a smoothie this morning and crushed a multi vitamin into it hoping that will help too.. and trying to set small day to day goals so the house stays reasonable after dh put so much effort into it.. it really is a struggle tho and i feel really bad i let things get this far before i tried to pick myself up out of it because now its gonna be alot harder..
billy is growing so much! hes been on anti biotics for a throat infection poor thing but hes much better now.. hes started solids now, tho he only has a small amount of breakfast each day, i tried dinner the other day because he always fusses when we have ours but hes not really ready for it, only had two tea spoons before he stopped opening his mouth so now i just give him a rusk to chew on if he seems annoyed around that time and it seems to help.. hes huuuge too lol hes in 00 - 0 clothes, he dosnt fit in 00 suits coz hes too long.. hes moving around alot now too today i found him upside down in his cot lol and when i put him on the floor he rolls and wiggles wherever he wants to go lol!
ashas doing well too cant believe how grown up she is these days.. our latest thing with her is asking nicely so shes saying "please may i have ..." lol so funny coz when shes asking to be picked up or something she will say "please may i have a up please daddy" lol very cute!
think thats about it for me hope everyones having a good day :)
-
Happy new year ladies!!!!!!! I want to know everyones new yrs resolutions??? ;)
Sorry I have been mia, been in a pretty dark place I must admit over the past few weeks. However I am coming outta that and moving onwards and upwards.
Jaz - I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother :( She is at peace now.
Noni - I am happy for you making some changes around the house, the meal planning is a good idea. I struggle some nights, especially those nights after work. Asha sounds like a well mannered little girl :)
Clare - I am so darn out of the loop, but I was so over the moon when I saw your announcement a few days ago. Especially seeing as you were worried about it taking awhile to happen like it did with L. Yay so happy for you!
Ginger - I'm sorry that you lost your mum too soon, life can be so unfair. I'm sure she is watching you and so proud of what a great mum you are and so amazed at her boys. Its so nice that L & your dad are best mates, thats so special you know.
Arte - Awww I missed all your funny W stories, thats so cute of him saying he wont be naughty anymore and go back to bed lol. Hillarious, such a cutie.
Thank you girls for thinking of me & keeping your fingers crossed for me that we will have a 2010 baby. We have been dtd like crazy lol sorry if tmi. I tell ya something better come of all this loving!!!
M is doing so well, I cant believe how good she is getting with her words now. The grommets op has made all the difference to her. Also we started toilet training casually last week and had a lot of misses, but also a few big hits in the potty iykwim. Thought it was definately time as she tells me when she needs to go in her nappy & checks our pants for poos lol. So I think she is doing so well with it really. Daycare have told me to send her in her knickers tomorrow with lots of spare clothes.
Hello to everyone else, have missed you all
-
hi girls!
MM: have been thinking of you heaps lately as Perth is in the news so much with all the crazy fires going on over there. unfortunately i havent made a new years resolution...hmmmm maybe to get this darn PhD finished...that would be oh so nice!
that is great news that the grommets have worked a charm! so i'm guessing that there have been no more ear infections? that must be bliss!
Noni: oh yeah we do meal plans here too as it is the only way that i know we are getting a complete round of food stuffs. we dont normally eat alot of meat and can go for weeks without it, so have started meal plans just so we get one serving a week at least. also that way it means that i can start chopping vegies throughout the day etc...and so nice to eat a meal that hasnt had to be rushed!
Arte: oh wow! so i guess now you guys will be buying out NZs stockpiles of ear warmer caps LOL!! at least he found a solution...nothing should get in the way of bug searching!!
AFM: all good. have some issues kicking the tail end of a cold. but overall we are good. off to a 2 year old birthday party for one of the kids from MG today. leila really needs it she has been asking after all the kids from MG and kindy...i guess mumma is boring after awhile lol!
-
eeeek i think we have chicken pox here!! no idea where she caught it from!! its quite a mild dose (shes had the vaccination tho) and we will go to the dr tonight to confirm or not.. worried about billy catching it, both dh and i have had it tho..
mm - glad the gromets are working for maddie and WTG on the TT :D
cassius - yeh i probably wouldnt eat meat at all if it wasnt for dh lol he wants to have it with every meal so alot of nights i find myself just eating whatever ive cooked as a side dish lol its nice to know what im going to make tho so i can prepare as u said..
hope everyones having a great day!
-
eeppp! that is scary Noni! usually it takes a good week from time of contact...can you think of anyone you know that has it? has it come up in blisters?
-
no one i know has it and she hasnt been at school or swimming coz of holidays :( i put some pics on fb but they arent very clear.. shes scratching like crazy!! i cant make her stop!
-
Mozzie bites maybe? If she's been attacked by them a lot they will look like cp spots and they will itch like nothing else.
-
they could be, but usually when moo gets bitten by mozzies they get really big like a slight allergy.. fingers crossed its just something like that tho!! taking her to the dr when dh gets home tonight just to be sure coz weve got a family thing on saturday and my cousin is pregnant followed by a baby shower on the sun!
-
Google chicken pox images and compare them with what she has.
-
i hope she hasn't got pox noni, poor Asha :(
-
-
on a completely different note tho my house looks respectable 2 days in a row!
-
...well see Noni...it aint all bad ROFL!! nice clean house, ahhh what's that again?! LOL!
-
aaah noni i hope it is something like bites and not CP. though i guess better to get it ay 2yo than when they are older...
sorry have been so MIA girls - been away and sooo busy getting things ready for the move...
Also J is sick, had to take him for whooping cough (and other) tests today - not nice at all...
will try to pop back later and catch up on all the goings on...
xxx
-
dr thinks its some kinda skin infection, like school sores but not.. he didnt seem very sure at all and a bit confused.. i hate medical centres!! my dr is still on hols tho :(
he perscribed an anti biotic and an anti bacterial cream, im trying the cream first and seeing what happens coz i hate the kids being on anti biotics espeicially when the dr seemed unsure about what she had..
-
Molloscum contagiousum? have a google for images of that and see what you think. MC is very much like cp blisters and is actually in the same 'family' of viruses. At least if it is cp she will have true immunity from it now and so will Billy if he gets it.
-
Noni: maybe you could still apply some calamine lotion on her skin for the itching...like they do with CP...or that pinetarsol stuff in the bath...might give her some relief...
MP: oh dear! i hope that J doesnt have the nasty Whooping cough! how do they test for it?
-
Hope it clears up soon Noni, at least it isnt pox
-
Noni glad it isn't CP, I hope poor Asha wasnt up scratching all night.
MP I hope J is ok, thats terrible and the last thing you need while trying to move.
Clare how are you feeling? Any ms?
MM I am so glad the gromets have made a difference. We are TT here too, DH seems to be a whole lot better at then me though lol.
I cant remember what else has been said so a big hello to everyone else.
AFM not much happening here, I am hoping to catch up with Jaz while she is on the coast. L seems to be eating better now and his behaviour has improved so much this last week. I am not sure if it was a phase or if the multivitamins made a difference. We were giving him those kids fish oil tabs but they left him smelling like a fish tank lol.
-
Oz, we aren't sure if it was just a passing phase or the multivitamins either. But having a new baby in the house is a big adjustment too.
Kate, I read your FB status - I really hope that they recover your jewelery. Did anyone else notice the amount of theft/violence status updates around christmas this year? Some people are just scum.
Noni, hope that A's skin clears up soon. Good plan to try the cream first, if it is like CP then it is most likely viral and the antibiotics won't do anything anyway. Is Billy named after anyone? His name sounds really distinguished. I like it.
Ginger, was looking at your new FB pics, your boys are just beautiful! They look like little surfer dudes!
MM, good luck with the knickers at day care
MD, how is everything going with nooboob now?
Trill, did you finally get some good internet for a reasonable price in your area?
Well, at the grand old age of 28 months, William finally had his first ever grazed knee!
-
trill - it could be that, tho her spots dont look puss filled or as pronounced as the ones in the pictures i could find.. im really not sure, couldnt tell if they were better or not after the cream, she does seem to be itching less now and theyre atleast not worse so see how we go..
cassius - we bought calamine yesterday and have it on standby for the itching, she seems to be itching less today tho, always the way!
oz - she scratched so much one of the first nights she had it she fell out of bed poor thing :( thats part of the reason i thought it was chicken pox lol..
arte - billy is a nickname, but we call him that most of the time, his full name is William which is my pops middle name :)
all going ok here, house is a mess but it usually is before i clean it lol i never get up to a clean house :( have been doing much better with housework, getting the house looking decent before dh gets home and hes pretty happy about it.. have been taking a multivitamin (crushed in a smoothie) not feeling the affects yet but its only been 3 days so far.. still not eating very well (too much crap) but one thing at a time lol..
hope everyones having a good day!
-
noni - glad she is feeling better!
Arte - what did W do? not bad to make it to 28 months i guess! N got so many scratches and scrapes last week at the farm, but loved every minute of it. was such an enriching experience for him
Clare - how are you feeling?
All is ok here - the anti bis are helping J i think. i am prety sure it is whoping cough but we wont get the results til friday... poor little guy! i am up to date with his vaccs too... we are noving ahead with the house move - chosen agent to rent this house out, seena few of int in melb but cant get one til after NZ, booked movers, decided on car and we will get it when we get back from NZ (cally did you get your car??), got a nanny to interview in melbs... so all happening. DH has given notice at work too...
MM - hope you are doing ok. xxx
J was 6 months yest, i cant believe it! the time is going so fast!
Sorry i am not around much - life is just carzy atm but i am thinking of you all. xxx
-
hi girls!
Noni: how is Asha going? does look a bit better this evening? poor wee thing what with her falling out of bed from the scratching!
Arte: wow. my hat is off to you! 28 months and his FIRST knee scrape!!!!! gosh, Leila has one at least once a day lol! but she is a bit crazy lol!
Oz: eeewwww! not sure i could cope with the fishtank smell...i thought they had done all these ingenious things to mask it...ah well, fish is fish i guess!
MP: wowee sista! that is ALOT going on. nothing in halves hey?! LOL! so what car did you decide on??? we looked at cars today (not that we need one but we were servicing our car at the honda dealer...so you know how it goes lol). we do like the idea of the honda oddessy...can fit a few kids and a dog in that one LOL! but we are really wanting a hybrid next time. the honda civic hybrid looks great (just like our car ATM), but i just dont think it's going to be big enough for our road trips....ah well, will keep looking and dreaming!
MD: how you doing lately babe? in the post christmas crush?! i know i certainly am. cannae believe that it is all over!
AFM: all good here. m/s seems to be ok ATM. mostly at night and in the morning. have aversions to smells and am tired with a capital T. but that is probably not helped by my crapola iron issues.
Today DH took the day of work () and we headed to st. kilda for fish and chips and to check out Luna Park. it was AWESOME fun!!!! we tried to get leila on the carousel...but she cracked it big time...was TERRIFIED...so we kept walking and all of a sudden she saw the 'dumbo' elephant ride. that goes around in circles and goes up and down (up to 4 metres in teh air), and yep, she wanted on...and LOVED it...so slow moving carousel with nursery rhymes fills her with fear, whereas flashing lights and flying elephants fills her with delight....cant win LOL!
-
Hi everyone!
Mp - sounds like things are a bit crazy at your place, I really don't know how you do it. Fingers crossed that J doesn't have whooping cough. No, we didn't get the car.
Noni - how is Asha going? poor little thing, scratching like that.
Clare - sounds like you had a very fun day.
Arte - very impressed that W got to this age without a scraped knee, I can't recall how many we have had here.
MM - so glad the grommets have made a difference. Isn't it great when they get that language explosion? K just chatters away all the time now, sometimes I wish she would be a little bit more quiet...
Well we are having big successes with sleeps. 3 weeks ago, she refused to have a day nap at home, took 30 minutes to get off to sleep at night and would end up in the spare bed with one of us in the middle of the night. Bedtime is great now, put her down, walk out and she's asleep in 5 minutes. She's had heaps of naps this week too without any fusses. I don't know how much of that though is because she is so zonked from not sleeping at 1am. We have put our feet down and no more spare bed sleeping, but she's not really getting the hint on it. We did resort to putting a gate across her door to keep her in her room - she can still see the spare bed from her door and we are taking it in turns. Tonight she is clutching a pair of DH's shorts and has a photo of DH and I stuck on the wall looking down at her. I think she is waking up scared of something, but it seems to happen about 4 times and it is every night so I really don't know. I do know that DH and I are going crazy though if we don't get it sorted soon!!
We are doing intensive swimming this fortnight too. 2nd lesson today and she has progressed so much. Yesterday I had tears when I made her put her head under water - today she was sitting on the steps and deliberately sliding down to the next level and putting her face under - such a difference! We also went swimming twice in Canberra last week so I think after these holidays she is going to just love the water.
DH wanted me to ask everyone how much whinging they get every day. We have had a lot lately where there is just nothing that seems to satisfy her. She is also very particular about things we do. We were having a babychino this morning and I passed her a fruit bar. She wanted me to open it, but I had my hands full so DH did it. It is her favourite sort of bar and she just chucked a complete wobbly because the wrong person opened it, ie throwing it across the table like it was contaminated waste!! He ended up taking her outside and I'm not sure what he did, but she was in a better mood when she came back. Dh thinks we have at least a solid hour of whinging every day. I'm tempted to get some multivitamins for her though after everyone's comments on them.
-
OH lordy Cally! The whinging does my head in some days LOL. We get that too - god help you if the wrong person does it, or you dont let him do it himself. Like last night he woke up and ask for a 'bot-bot' of all things! he hasn't had one for weeks. So I ask him what he wants in it, milk or water and he says no to both. I ask him again and I get louder NO's to both. So he starts sooking. I get back into bed saying 'fine, go without then' LOL - mind you it was 2.30am and then he starts sulking and says 'milk' so I get a small bottle of milk for him and then it's too cold  so I warmed it up a bit more and then he's off to sleep again!
Noni, I saw your FB update and glad to hear it isn't cp. FWIW, it's possible that she is the only one with the bites - the other night L got attacked by mozzies at night and had 30-odd bites that turned into huge welts from scratching so I had to dose him with phenergan to settle them and stop the itching. But the other kids were fine. Mind you A looks like a junkie sratching at the inside of his arms all the time from the mozzie bites he already had ROFL. So I have been putting winter pj's on him to stop them and the house smells like chinese opium den ;) from the mozzie coils.
MP, that is a lot for you to deal with  I hope he is on the mend soon, poor bubby boy.
We start swimming lessons too on Monday and I have no idea how he will go as he likes to do his own thing in the pool , but seeing the other kids do stuff too will probably make him do it too kwim?
-
so i went to another medical centre lol, id called ahead and they told me no need to make an appt as long as i got there before 5.30, i got there at 5.20 and they told me the dr wasnt taking any more patients grrr boy was i mad!! luckily a paediatrition who works in the same centre felt sorry for me and took a look at her. she said she was pretty sure it was just bites, deffinately not cp or anything nasty or contagious. she said to keep going with the anti bacterial cream coz she could tell she was itching alot and to give her an anti histamine to help with the itching. ive also stripped her bed, even tho i slept in it and never got bitten u never know, so stripped that off and sprayed the matress with a naturegaurd bug killer, waited a few hours with the fan on and window open and then re made the bed with fresh sheets, blankets and pillow cases etc.. i alsop sprayed some natural mozzie reppellant on her (just an oil i got from avon) that helps keep mozzies away and gave her a dose of zyrtec so hopefully that all helps!
trill - when asha gets mozzie bited they usually end up in huge welts too from the scratching.. she actually has a few scars already from scratching bites!! im worried these will scar too poor chicken :(
winging - we get huuge winging sessions here! asha drives me crazy with her iiiimmm huuunnnggryyy, or im sick i need medicine.. lol cant wait till she learns im bored hahahahaha!!!
-
hi girls!
Noni: relief that it isn't CP!! but wow, didnt realise that she had such an aversion to bites! my cousin is the same, they always got really big and itchy and she also ended up with scars from some of them. poor wee thing, hopefully it will clear soon. could they be sandflies? do you get them there? we had them bad up in north qld and they itch really bad...
Cally: ooh yeah baby! we get doozers of whingeing. pretty much one major crack up each day. some days she can go on and off all day....oh the joy lol! and yep, Leila can crack over particular things as well. if it's the wrong spoon, wrong nappy (yep, they are all the same i would of though lol!), if the dog looks at her when she doesnt want her to look at her LOL! and so on and so forth....ya gotta laugh...or clench your teeth really really tight ROFL!
how often is the swim intensive? like everyday?
Sherie: good on you for getting him into swimming. it is a thing i really want to get Leila into. she LOVES water and with us living so close to a creek i *think* it could be a smart move JIC IYKWIM. also she just has no fear, which although good at times when it comes to water i am a bit freaked out!
AFM: all good here. Today is Leila's first day back at kindy :( feel a bit sad as it is the beginning of a new year/new chapter in her life and there is always sadness at lovely memories being left behind (i always get nostalgic on her first day lol!). she is in a bigger room this year with a few more kids (but she knows them all as they played alot together last year). i reckon she will love it once she is settled as there are two levels in the room and lots and lots and lots of dress-ups, cubby houses, dolls, paints etc etc. and her carer from last year followed the group so not too scary and new.
-
Clare - yes, swimming is every afternoon. It's good as it fills in the time, so this week is flying by. DH and I both hopped in with her yesterday which was good. They're not structured classes as such, there is a bit of direction from a teacher, but she has two others she is teaching so just gives us a bit of direction every now and then. Good in a way as we can focus on what she is interested in each day. K is also moving up to the next room this year. She has been doing things with them already, but she will be able to do more. Hopefully watching them all use the toilet will give her a bit of a push along too....
Noni - so glad that it is only bites. We took K to the hospy last year for sand fly bites, they can look really bad (and super itchy, she had some Claratyne syrup for them).
-
Cally - Yep you can add M to the list of endless whinging about nothing. Some days it just drives us up the wall! :)
Trill - GL with swimming lessons, something I want to do with M as well.
Noni - Thats a relief that it isnt pox.
MP - Oh poor J I hope its not whooping cough. Yuck poor thing. I missed that you are going to NZ, lucky you! GL with the move sounds exciting.
Clare - Hope L enjoys her first day at kindy, yep I know what you mean I get teary at this sort of stuff too lol. I'm still in denial that they will be 3 this yr, how is that possible!!???
-
Hi Girls
***CONGRATS CASSIUS!!!!...Awesome news***
Sorry I haven't been around much. Rory was home for Christmas so we spent as much time together as we could and then I headed to mums on Boxing Day and her internet/computer played up so I only had facebook mobile access. That was painful hehe.
I'm sorry for being such a slacker but please know that I am thinking of you all and hope that everyone had a fantastic christmas watching the kids open their pressies and actually be really into it this year. Sarah was spoilt of course and loved everything she got.
I've been fairly unwell still...just that constant queasy feeling. Slowly getting better tho but not fast enough for my liking.
Sarah is once again whinging around my feet so better find out what is wrong this time in her dramatic little life lol.
Hugs to all
-
Not so much whinging here, but somehow he has the idea that this house is a democracy and everything is open to debate and compromise! eg
Me: Please don't race the (large, loud) truck on the lino while A is sleeping
W: I will just drive it slow and quiet
Me: it is time to leave the snails alone now
W: I will just touch the shell then
MM, I also can't believe they are turning 3 this year! W is going to be a big Kindy kid soon!
Cally, sounds like you a making a bit of progress with the naps. It is slow going isn't it!
Not sure if the star chart is anything to do with the behaviour turn around, but it is certainly making him feel good about himself - we were out walking the other day and he was telling me he was a real good boy and has lots of stars on his chart at home. He is very proud of the chart.
-
arte - this morning when telling asha to stop pushing her bike backwards and forwards on the wooden floors for no apparant reason lol (its quite noisy too) she looked at me and said "Billys awake mum" talk about smar arse!
