Howdy!
Wow very quiet in here.. you must all have lives lol.
Missy.. aww poor Liam, though lucky he has his mummy to give cuddles! Ooow how exciting with the Christmas stuff!!! Im going to put ours up next weekend after our inspection is done Friday. I love Christmas. Have just ordered us some personalised christmas stockings (plus a blank one for baby #3 ) and the kids some santa sacks too.
Tannis.. wow Ash still in 0000 hey! Thats pretty good! Wish Keira was and we could get more use out of her clothes! Oh cute re her smiling.. she is beautiful.. and she knows it! lol
Not much news here. Keira can sit up on our laps without being held. Actually havent tried her on the floor so should see. I wish she would stop growing up so fast.
Mums still here for a few more days and oh remind me next time shes here how much of a burden it is please.. im now washing up and cleaning (like last time) for 4th person. Ehh must look like a hotel maid i reckon.
Kel you poor thing. I reckon you should shove some clothes towards your mum and ask her to put on a load of washing for you. Maybe she doesn't want to offend you by just doing stuff - thats what my IL's say about not picking up Miss M if she is crying - doesn't want to OFFEND us by thinking they could just DO IT...
Miss M is grizzling (needs sleep) so I was just poppin in quickly!!!
Tan - nope got my eyes checked ... I'm a little blind, but only with long distance... So I can see you JUST FINE... lol.. tis damn hot today here too... only 24 degrees at the moment, but 94% humidity.. yuck... I hate November weather...
Hello to everyone else.. better go put her down to sleep...
Kell: Of course all her nice 0000 clothes she can't fit I am still squeezing her in pumpkin patch NB size stripey pants cause they look so cute on her, they are more like shorts now though. Oh Ash can sit up like that too, but can't sit up on her own on the floor...I tried it the other day. I agree with Mel, ask your mum to do something she probably just doesn't want to step on your toes. SIL was cleaning my kitchen cupboards the other day and it kinda made me think....don't you think I can clean my house??? Then I thought well if she wants to clean them then go for it haha. I feel for you though, I don't like ppl staying too long for that reason its alway more work!
Mel: I got long distance problem with my eyes too. I love the hot weather but I feel for Jayden, he doesn't like it too much. Instead of getting Jayden outside early this morning, Chris put him in front of the tv and put a movie on for him and went back to sleep!! Any wonder he is like he is with tv....now he has done the same thing, movie is over and The Simpsons is on....Chris is snoring away and Jayden is glued to the tv.....Too hot to go outside now!
Think we might go to SIL's for a swim but this SIL doesn't have any shade over her pool so I don't really want Jayden in there until later....Ashlea is definitely out of the question. The other SIL has wakeboarding ppl camping at their house (about 40 ppl and tents everywhere) so I don't want to go there again for a swim.
Anyway Jayden is away from the tv now and asking to see his cousin (with no shade on the pool). Ashlea is still asleep, went to sleep at about 8.30am!!
Hey Mummas, bubbas and Daddy.
How is everyone going?
I'm baccccccck! This past week has gone so so so fast and I missed you all!
The move was good. We moved basically all last Saturday. It was kinda stressful and all
that jazz and I felt like DP hardly did anything, but that's another story.
DS1 has been really good with the move. No hiccups or anything with his sleeping, etc so that's good as I was a little worried how he'd go with the move. Lol.
Bubbablue is great. No hassles. Sleeping fantastic in his cot.
As for me, I'm still getting used to it. It's really great to finally be in our own home. It doesn't feel real just yet... it's more like we're on holidays. Lol.
MIL got her dates mixed up so she'll be here next week, which does suit me better cause I needed more time to settle into the house and blahblah.
DS1 had orientation day this past thursday morning when he'll be starting big school next year. I was so nervous about it, but he went fine. He wasn't clingy on me or crying like some of the other kids were doing. A couple of other little kids that he goes to preschool with were there aswell.
It's really funny that he's going to the same school I went to. He almost got the same Kindy teacher that I had, but she retired last month. I did actually have the teacher he's having next year too but it was in the later years of Primary school. It's so weird for me.
Anyways, I've rambled on heaps already. I'll try and catch up tomorrow or some other time. all round.
Well very sick little boys in my house. Callum was at the doc's on saturday morning with a infected throat, Liam had a bit of a cough so at 5pm Saturday night was also at the doc's for Liam. He has abit of a sore throat but has had a reaction to his needles. He has sort of cold/flu and is just horrible. Sneezing no stop and his eye are like a tape. He is tearing up all the time. Poor little one hasnt cried once but has these tears running down his checks all the time. He has red eyes and looks like he has been crying for days. HE slept through to 4am and then ended up in bed with me and callum as DH went to callums bed. So havent had much sleep between callum and liam, but you know what, they both have been so good. Callum has just watched dvds/played with his toys all day and Liam has slept most of it. Has only had about 2 full bottles but hey at least he is having some. Both kids just gone to bed now. So might head off to bed and watch tv. Sorry for no personals.
sounds like everyone has been busy!!! Same here. Apart from swimming lessons on sat morning I have spent the weekend cleaning. allmost all my clothes are washed and my floors are mopped, bathroom cleaned, I still need to clean Isaacs finger prints from the walls that will be tomorrow; they seem to be everywere.
Missy - yep feeling much better thanks.
I was a little upset last wednesday, after isaac cried for around 3+days i was a little stressed, thankfully Kell and julie were there to make me feel better. and AF due next week probably didn't help either hehe...Isaac is still being a sook but im not as stressed about it now.
How are the boys missy? I give Isaac these lolly pops you get from the chemist that are to sooth a sore throat for kids, he likes them and they make him feel better. cant remember what they are called tho. your poor little fellas, i hope they are better soon.
Tennykins- Glad the move went good. yep my DH was good with the heavy lifting but i did all the unpacking. a womans work seems to be never ending hay!
God BIG school!!!! i cant imagine Isaac going he will start in 2012....yeeek...we are thinking about sending him to a private school and the one we were thinking about you need to register him now, how scary some parents register from birth. our local PS is crap they have kindy, 1st and 2nd in the same class and i always hear of people complaining that their kids are left behind in learning. its just too small. if i was rich i would send them to Kings, but at about 20K a yearwhat a joke.
Kell - you poor thing, put her to work, i'm sure she wont mind. My outlaws do the same thing. i'm sure jesse and keira love having her there.
oh and with the ACCC and sale stuff so far we have used it 3 times once at Kmart to get a cubby, in the end they decided to get me one sent from orange FREE to my local store A bike for Isaacs birthday in Toys R us, they ended up finding me one aswell cause i kicked up a stink when i was told they sold out, and i made my sis kick up a stink cause they sold out on first day of sale for a radio flyer wagon she is getting my boys, they gave her a rain check but called the next day and told her they got her one. it pays to complain. a store will get into a lot of trouble if they breach ACCC guidlines.
Tannis- sebbi will squeeze into some 0000 size stuff. but caleb is a budda and only fits a 00. they grow too fast. I have so much baby stuff to sell on ebay now.
Ree sunblock- i have yet to use any, my stuff from the cancer council says 6 months. when isaac was a baby we rang the cancer council sunblock people and asked what to use on a baby under 6 months and we were told no to take them in the sun at all. the twins get sun but not very much at all.
Oh there is probably a thread on BB already but did anyone see the babies swimming on today tonight! tonight? i cried it was so sad. we want to get a pool but decided to waite till the kids are 8 or 9. its so scary. Isaac does swimming lessons and so will the twins.
wow lots of baby movement happening. the twins are still very much jelly babies and quite frankly im quite pleased with that. the quicker they move the quicker you have to tie everything down.
Anyone feeding baby yet? i know mine are older tho. we are NO way ready for food and i doubt even at 6 months they will be. Caleb is hungry but i increased his milk and he seems happier. they will l be 6 months on xmas day but i might even waite till they are 7 months just cause they are prem babies. what do you all think...
well gotta go i am trying to find a cake topper for the christening cake. there is one by "Me to you" its twin bears holding balloons saying babies christening but i can only find a pic no shop to sell it. I also need cake ideas. was thinking a gift box style or something.
well better run its getting late.
Hi to Tasia, Pix, Bear, Zee, Belle, Feeb, Mez, Mel, and anyone else I missed
Tenny: Welcome back! I hate moving....especially when your the only one doing anything! Glad its all over for you....and how exciting being in your own home!!! Congrats hun!! How scarey DS1 is going to big school next year!! Glad we are a few yrs off that!
Missy: Awww your poor boys! Thats great they are being good boys for you though....you know what males are usually like when they are sick haha or is that just the grown up ones hehe. Hope they get better really soon!
Kristy: Well done on all your cleaning! I have to get bitten by the cleaning bug this week! I am sick of doing bits n pieces all the time, just want it all done so I can do nothing for a few days! Great to know the ACCC thing works, SIL or my niece haven't been back but they will go this week I'd say. I did see the today tonight thing....or was it 60minutes?? Anyway it made me cry too...I said when we were looking for a house that I don't want a pool until our kids are older. My nephew (7 at the time) used to climb up on the pool fence to open it and let his 4yo sister in, one day he pushed her into the pool when their mum was busy cutting someones hair in the garage at the front of the house...luckily Ella could swim but it could have been very tragic! Scares me way too much! I can't even leave Jayden in the bath on his own for even a few minutes!
RE: Solids, Ashlea won't start solids until at least 6mths, if BF'ing is still going well I might hold off a little longer. Not sure how it works with prems, if they seem ready at 6mths then go for it but maybe wait a bit longer if they seem happy....really not sure I'd ask the CHN next time you're there.
We went swimming this arve, I dipped Ashlea's feet in (pool was shaded by the time we got there thank god!) She liked it I think but I didn't let her in...maybe next time when I have the camera with me. Jayden loved it, I think we will go a few times a week to get him used to the water more and they have Wii fit so I can play on that....my fitness age is 30 only a yr more than my real age so I'm happy with that.....I really want to get one for xmas but Chris won't let me Its ok that over the yrs he's had a playstation, playstation2 & xbox but as soon as i want something that I'll use for a month and get sick of, I can't have it haha.
Hello to everyone.....Hope you all had a great weekend!
ok.. re solids.. i wont be starting until KEIRA is ready (when she no longer has the tongue reflex otherwise its just a waste of time). I dont think an age really justifies when they are ready to start solids or any milestone really. Every baby is so different. Whether they are premmi, boy or girl.. they are all so different.
Re the sun thing. Funny enough, covering up and not going in the sun (not talking about under 6 months but just in general) can actually do you more harm than you think. My aunty has just been diagnosed with Vitamin D Disease... which is a lack of vitamin D from the sun throughout her life. She would always wear a hat and be covered up when she went out.. now she has to take tablets for the rest of her life for this disease. Theres something they dont tell you in the media!
Mum has been a little better.. lol mustve sent off the vibe to her lol. But she's done the washing up yesterday and helped hang out the washing. lol Kristy i like my IL's now. MIL every time shes over asks what she can do.. haha i love it.
Missy.. oh dear! Big to you and your boys. I hope they get better soon. Poor pets. Stupid weather aint helping im sure.
Tannis.. thats great Jayden loved the water! Oh we've had an Xbox wich DH traded in and got the XBOX 360 too. I wonder if you can trade one in for a Wii? I dont really like the xbox.. all the games are fighting and dark. Star Wars lego is ok but again just fighting crap.
Tenny.. thats great Hayden is sleeping well in his cot and the move went well. Oh good too Elijah's orientation day went well! Good to see you back hun!
Mel.. could be very true. Didnt think of it like that. Just leaving plates and cups everywhere got me a bit ticked off iykwim. Especially when ive always been taught by her and my dad to clean up after myself. Ahh well.
No real news here. Bought the CUTEST little outfit for Keira for Christmas.. oh its so cute.
Anyways best go feed the boy!
I'll just be handing out today not doing much at all so i can pop in and out during the day.
today i will
-Cook a christmas cake
-finish my washing
-clean our room (it looks like a dump, needs to look a bit better)
-might do some more yard work late this arvo i i have time.
missy- how r the boys this morning
mel-how is aricyn too
Kell where did you get your Wii from again i'm gunna call and c if they dave any left to laybuy.
well better go play with isaac, he can help me with the cake. this cake takes aget to cook, 3 hours in a slow oven...
Arrrrgggg ive woken up with a sore throat. Dont you hate that.. Callum seems back to his own self which is good, meds must be working, Liam is abit better too, his eyes still watering but off his bottles and just wants to sleep. But thats what our bodies need when we sick.
Im glad your feeling better Kristy. Oh ill be starting Liam on food at 6 months. He is watching me big time eat and if I let him he would try and grab it. I might evern give him alittle before. Ill see how it goes. Callum started abit before 6 months. I got your text too about the xmas party and yes we will be there. I know you said you will supply everything but Id like to bring some thing. Just let me know. I could do a salad.??? Are we doing pressies for the kids?? Just let me know what you want me to do or get!! Wow Kristy your good. All that work. Good on you. Im not doing much today as im not feeling the best either. Ive done one load of washing and cleaned the toilet ( as Callum keeps missing and getting it all over the toilet and floor) washed the bathroom floor and put some washing away. That is all im doing today. Going to finish my book. Callum at school and hoping they dont call me to go get him. Im sure they wont. He is alot better.
Tannis yes that is just the older men that are sooooooks.....lol Dont tell my DH I said that..hehehe Oh my DH and DD want a Wii but forget it. DH wants IQ TOO ON THE FOX but ive told him if the phone bill gets down and stays that way for 3 months then ill get it but now im thinking no as ive been adding up the bills and boy we have lots.....lol
Thanks kell hun. They are getting abit better so that is good. Just very lucky Liam is good and not screaming the house down. Oh my boy is such a good boy. I some times think some thing is wrong with him cause he IS so good. I know there isnt he is just good. I like my ILS too as they always do things to help out. Oh take a photo of Keira's outfit. I want to see.
Well better head off. Hi the rest of you ladies and man....hehehehe
went to work for a couple of hours this morning, came home and took DS to the docs, and DH then went to work. He's getting bloody pneumonia again - arghhhh - thats why he is such a miserable little thing.
Stuff the diet - I need chocolate!!!
RE: solids - 6 months at least. But when she is ready - after 6 months
Tenny - glad the move went ok honey
Missy - hope your boys are improving quickly!! Nothing worse than two kids sick at the same time..
Kristy - You are supermum I think..... we should all bow in your presence..
Better go put dora on for the boy.. he's hassling me..
Missy.. oh noooooooooo! drink some honey and lemon if you can. Might help. Glad to hear the boys are on the mend. Jesse's eye use to always water, even when not sick and he hadnt been crying. Youd just see a tear through the day. He out grew it when i was around 12 months or so... but now even when hes sick he will get a tear here and there out of his eye still. Oh i will take one.. when i can be bothered lol.
Mel.. oh no poor thing.. hope he picks up soon.
lol.. re house work.. im doing diddly squat! Thursday is going to be my cleaning day as we have an inspection Friday morning.. but the house is pretty tidy usually so hopefully wont take long.
Ooow my kid's Christmas sacks arrived today.. they look soooo cool!!!!! Will take a pic. They have their names on them.. plus one blank for baby #3. Also ordered Keira's christmas ball today at Myer.. so hopefully that will be ready next week sometime.

Mel.. SHHH! Dont jinx me now woman!!! Oh lordy if i had twin.. eh dont even wanna think about it!!!!!!!! Haha.. NO! im not going to have twins.. im just not! lol
Missy.. enjoy your book!
Missy/Kristy.. are we doing something this Friday? I have an inspection between 8.30-9.30am so anytime after is fine for us.
Well ive kinda just realised ive been getting side effects from the pill im on. The past 2 months both times i ovulated i had diarrhoea.. and now as ive got my period, ive got it again. No reason otherwise any of the times. Ive been getting what i suspected to be migrains but not like my normal migrains. Anyone who suffers Aura migrains will know what i mean when i say you lost your vision and get like shimmering lights. Well ive been getting what looks like some has taken a photo with a flash, just constantly in my vision. Ive also been suffering really bad anxiety lately. Id been getting cramps in my feet. I constantly feel fatigued, even though both my kids are sleeping through and im getting 8 hours sleep at least each night. Up until tonight i didnt think much of it, but when i research the pill im on, theyre all side effects and effects others have experienced on this pill. Not to mension pimples that i dont normally get. So am going to go back to my doctor on the weekend when DH is home and get something different.. not good!
actually kell now you mention it i was gunna chat to Dr palmer about the pill also. as i suppect im having side affects too i know we take the same pill. for me its making my excema flair up bad just when i'm due too, & im getting lethargic also . on the up i think it has helped to improve my labido. AF is due tomorrow and im feeling a little off balance tonight and i think i was last month too, but i'm not sure.
something friday sounds good. Oh also i called Target today and asked about my santa sacks and the lady seems to think that they came in allready but might not be on the shelf, but if not than i will either try to get them made or if thets too expensive i'll sell the one i have and buy 3 new ones, but i just love the one i have.
hehe twins kell, a boy and a girl. it would be cool. i used to cut a womans hair and she had 2 children they decided to have just ONE more and they had THREE yep triplets two Identical and a faternal. hehe it could happen. to any of you thinking of more hehe
I didn't end up getting my room clean, but DH did do some more gardening when he got home. there is so much to do before the christening.
