Tingly/numbness in back, is it normal?

Olive is 3mths old and I had a very difficult labour-basically after 50hrs was forced to have an epidural and forceps delivery. My question is that my back has been really tingly and numb down one side since the birth and i'm assuming it's from the epi, is this normal? Does it go away after a while? Should I get it checked? It is really annoying. TIA

i think it can happen but no i dont think it is 'normal'. i rememberr they gave me a phone number to call when i had my epi, if there were any unusual sypmtoms. you might like to mention it to a GP.
