2 weeks later(TMI)

I had my ceaser just over 2 weeks ago and just have a bleeding question. I came home from hospital and had hardly any bleeding from then untill 2 days ago when it came back like a peorid but darker in colour (sorry TMI) i guess and i have been losing some clots as well today and been getting cramps this afternoon and evening. Just wondering if this is normal or should i be ringing my OB cause with DD#1 i bleed for about 5 weeks?

hey Mel.. im not sure i have never had a c/s however the bleeding was very diff with both my vaginal delv.. are you able to call the hospital and speak with a midwife? hope all is well

Thanks Have no idea if i can call the hospital as i havent only just come home may give them a try if not ring my ob tomorrow

I bled with clots after my c/s sporadically as you are. It seems as if the end is near and then I would begin to bleed heavily - i even got caught out going to my in laws without enough pads! I would call the hospital if your worried but it sounds normal compared with my situation. YOu can call the hospital at any time - that's what they are there for and they are usually only too happy to help!
