    Bruising

I'm not sure if this is at all related to having given birth to DD 6 months ago, but since then I have found I'm really prone to bruising all over my arms and legs. There is nothing I can think of having done that would cause all of these bruises, and just as one lot are healing I can see more coming up. Does this mean I have a deficiency of some kind? Is this common for new mums? I'd really like to feel more comfortable wearing skirts and not looking like I've fallen down 10 flights of stairs!!

Bruising easily can be a sign of lots of things or nothing much so a GP would be your best bet hun. After DD was born i was hypothyroid and i bruised easily because one's metabolism is slower so it takes the body longer to stop bleeding and heal bruising.

Definitely see your GP for some blood tests etc. Then you'll know for sure what it's from.
