I was feeling pretty much normal within 2 weeks. I think that it was because DD was in special care nursery and I HAD to get up and moving sooner. I left hospital before DD did and had to run back and forth from home to hospital for 10 days.. I think that because I had no choice and had mind occupied on other things (ie. DD birth defect and getting her home) it really helped with my recovery... hope though that next time I dont have to be so rushed!!
