DTD post partum and I have a Q!!

Ok here goes.....

Tonight DH and I DTD for the first time since my DS was born (6 weeks ago). I was a little apprehensive as I am sure you all can appreciate. I had an episiotomy which I was a little worried about as I thought it may hurt, it didn't though which I was happy about. However, it felt a little uncomfy at first as I could feel where the 'cut' is/was and I could feel that the muscles etc are still a little sensitive. That wasn't the thing that I was wondering about though.... my episiotomy was done on my right side but on the left side felt as though I have a small 'tear' or something just on the 'inside' IYKWIM?!?!

I wasn't told that I had any tears etc so I am not sure what this may be?!? Has this happened to anyone else?!?!

Hi Dan
It could be a number of things including a tear. However if you did have a small tear it should have healed by now even so you may still be able to feel it. Why not get a mirror and have a look.
