    phantom pregnancy

this is a little odd but does anyone ever get fluttery sensations, like a baby kicking in their belly even though they are not pg anymore? I do and it really freaks me out. It first starting happening when DS was about 3 months old and I made DH go and buy a bunch of pregnancy tests. I thought at first it was my uterus contracting (would often happen while BFing but not always) but now surely 10 months post partum it couldn't be that? What the hell is it?

    Trapped wind? Digestion?

It's usually an intestinal thing for me.

Yes, I get it too. I think we all do it's just that once you have had a baby you are more aware of feelings in your abdomen. IYKWIM?

Yep I get that too...never noticed it after ds1 but definitely after ds2, probably a muscle twitch or something

hmmm yeah i guess it could be all of these things, i'm not particularly gassy though, well no more than usual anyway. I guess having a baby growing in your belly for 9 months just makes things sit in a bit differently afterwards. DS was very unplanned and undiscovered for 20 weeks, so I guess part of me is very paranoid about never letting that happen again! Every little funny feeling I buy a test I need to chill out

WOW! That would make me check all the time too! Hope you don't get another sneeky one - unless you want one of course! LOL!

Hahaha most definitely NOT, the first surprise turned out to be lovely but I don't think I could handle another! When I found out I was thinking stuff like this doesn't happen to real people, only in Dolly Magazine! I should get shares in Crystal Clear
