Aww hun, those last few weeks/days are a killer hey. Tehya came the day before her due date, fingers crossed the same happens for you.

You'd think having so many previous pregnancys and babies they come sooner.

Well thats what I thought! I have a very sick little girl here though, so maybe I'm subconsciously not allowing myself to go in til she's better.

I haven't had it done either Rayla, but a girl next door actually had a cement type stuff put into her tubes instead of being tied. Apparently reversal is alot easier.

You could be on to something there Nat. You know it won't happen until you are relaxed. Hurry up and get well little one, Mummy is waiting on bubba

Wow Kathryn, I hadn't heard of that before. Very interesting, although I told Mark he could get done, I've had the babies. If he is so sure that he doesn't want anymore than it's up to him. Secretly (or not so secretly) I think I'd love another but he says that he'd rather give himself a vasectomy than have more kids so I'm guessing it's s definate no from him

Kathryn, I'll have to look into that. My DH would be happy to have more. Not right now, but when this baby goes to school, I'll only be 37 so he'd like another one then. The way I'm feeling now, that'd be a no from me, but I'm scared to do something completely irreversible in case I change my mind later.

Trish, I could quite happily give my DH a vasectony at the moment

HEHE poor you Nat. I suppose you've started doing all you can to move bub along.....
So how many more bubs does DH want?? I wish Mark was like that, he said if I didn't already have my older 2 then he'd think about it, but they aren't going anywhere so that's not going to change.

    Sorry for going off topic.

I do kwym though about doing anything permenant though. Scares me too.

DH would like just the one more I think. He's one of 8, so maybe thats why, but his mum's got the patience of a saint and I definitely dont, so there you go. I'm quite happy to wait for grandkids, lol.

Sorry if too personal, but what do you do for contraception? I'm really starting to worry about it now.

Have you thought about the mirena IUD? It lasts 5 years and you can BF while you use it.

I did Chloe, but I read a thread on here about it and got a bit scared. I'm already so moody and really want to be able to get that under control. Also the no libido thing - its pretty non-existent as it is, lol.

DH had the snip as apparently it's a much more minor operation than having your tubes tied, with almost identical effectiveness and reversibility rates. Not that that really addresses your question about having your tubes tied, but it's something to consider

OMG really Nat. Umm mahhh. Shhhh don't tell Mark. Maybe your DH put pin *****s in them LOL. Yeah I have to very low libido happening and I don't even have the drugs in my body to affect it. I'm still bf at the moment so don't want to even think about going back on the pill. Plus if I stuff up it's all on me then and I don't want that responsibilty. Temptation may get the better of me

Wow cement stuff???? What will they think of next?? I dont know anyone who has their tubes tied Nat. They did offer it to me though cos I had a csection but had done a bit of reading and it scared me a bit. Think its so much easier for our dhs to do it instead. Im like you Trish..thinking of another. Thankfully we are both keen...will just have to see how we go.
