How long till you felt "normal" again after baby?

Just a general question as to how long people started feeling like their Pre-baby self again?

Kiara was born 18 weeks ago and only just recently have i felt like i have my old sex drive and emotion back...

Yasin is almost 2 and I still don't feel like my pre-baby self lol. I've accepted now that in some ways I'm always going to be differant.

I don't know if I ever totally got back to feeling how I did pre-baby LOL! As far as sex drive goes I don't think I was much interested until Kynan was about 12 months... then I got PG again and it all went out the window LOL. You're doing well I think!

It's really hard to tell when you're feeling back to your old self, 'cause so much has changed! With both my babies, I lost my sex drive during the first trimester, but regained it when morning sickness left. I didn't like BDing much during the first couple months or so, after baby was born, but when we had sorted out our daily routines again, things began to get back to "normal". But I had a very easy pregnancy and delivery both times, no tearing or stitches, so it was easier for me than it is for some women. Emotionally, I didn't have too much trouble, except for feeling overwhelmed and exhausted occasionally. (But that still happens now, so I can't blame that on the baby.) Sounds like you're doing well. I have heard of women who don't have sex for 12 months or more post baby. I think I'd go crazy.

After No 1 it took nearly 12 months, but after No 2 I was back into the swing after 8 weeks and enjoying it way more than before having my kids!!!!

Normal?? I don't think I'll ever feel normal. It's been 91/2 months and I only really now feel like having sex - Poor DH.
Would I trade it for anything? No way

My DD is 11 months and it was only this month that I could say that I felt nearly normal. My lady has healed and my hormones seem to be getting back on track. I only have 4 more kgs to go before getting back to pre-pre weight. Albeit I did have a miscarriage 4 months ago and this may have delayed my recovery on a hormonal level. I have also been taking natural progesterone and this seems to have curbed pmt that I got really badly after giving birth and restore the old sex drive.

I think you are doing well
