After feeling quite indifferent about my lina nigra (that dark line that appears around your belly button during pregnancy) I’ve grown quite attached to it now. It reminds me of being pregnant and I think of it as my badge of honor for being a Mum. Anyway, my DS is now nearly 10 months and although it’s faded significantly since I was pregnant you can still see it quite clearly. How long did it take for your lina nigra to fade away?
i understand how you feel attatched to it.. i am too... i love to see it when i hop out of the shower... reminds me of that special time... my little girl is nearly 8 months and mine is faded but still there and seems to have gotten to a point of not fading any more.. i hope it stays forever.

i didn't get a linea niagra, but i did unfortuantley get a 'snail trail' of hairs from my belly button down a few centimetres and it didn't disappear til 2 months ago.
I got this only with my first baby and it was gone by 2-3 months......if yours hasn't gone at 8-10 months then I'd say it's going to stick!
My sister has a very faint one, and she has NEVER been pregnant.
Mine has almost gone already and I'm gutted, it's my only reminder of pregnancy rather than baby (well, that and being kicked awake at night, but DS is doing more fingers-in-nose now).
mine took bout 7 mts to go ... i cant wait to get pg again and see it again .. mine waz crooked and not just a straight line .. so it was kinda sad to see the wonky line go
