Linea Nigra ( sp? )...does it dissapear?

hi all ,
Just wondering if that dark line that forms down your belly during pregnancy actually dissapears after childbirth??
Its been nearly a month and the line is still there on my stomach as dark as ever..

Mine took quite a few months to disappear, but it did go eventually. I also found that the skin inside my belly button was brown, and no it wasn't dirt. But it sort of washed off eventually.

I didn't get this, but from what I have read and heard, it always fades considerably, although it doesn't always disappear completely.

I've still got mine (WM is three months old nearly).

I'm with you on the inside of the navel, Trish. Mine looks just the same.

Yup.. same here. Brown/black belly & button. Scrubbed it off in the shower a while ago and was promptly embarressed thinking I should have done it earlier! LOL. I thought it was just the colour of my skin! But the line took a while to fade.. I just checked.. and yup it's finally gone. Still have a bit of a brown belly tho, and still loose skin
