Nearly 6mths on ...discharge question

Sorry if TMI
But its been nearly 6mths since I gave birth and I still have very heavy stringy discharge ( when I get AF it looks like blood clots )...I KNOW i should see a doctor - but since pregnancy im sick and tired of people looking at me down below
Has anyone else had this ??

I have this too!!!!!!! I'm so happy I'm not alone!!!

I'm going to an OB today to ask about other things but I'm going to ask him about this too as I'm getting really annoyed with it. I was told by my normal doc that it's nothing and it will go away but it's still here!!!!

My appointment isn't for a few hours still so once I get home I'll post what he tells me. Sorry I'm no help at the moment but hopefully I can be soon.

Apparently the mucus is associated with lochia. He said it sounds like I have an overactive glad that's producing it. He did say it should slow with time which for me it has but not to the degree I thought it would. He also said when I'm due for my next PAP that they could check it out then if I'm still worried but there is nothing to worry about unless there is an odour which could be a sign there is an infection. That's the only concern.
