Ok so DD2 is just over 4 months and exclusively Bfed. AF returned when she was 9 wks old to the day and then 28 days later showed up again so i was expecting her to show her ugly head again last Tue but i am still waiting.
Is it normal for my periods to be irregular if i am BFing? I wasnt expecting to get them back so soon but i did. I was very regular b4 this last pg and they were 28 days apart. My last ones were 28 days apart too so i assumed i'd stay regular again. Should i be doing a pg test or is this normal. I dont feel pg but if this is the case i would be very early and the chance would be very slim iykwim, we could count the no of times we've DTD and we are using condoms. I'm a little scared about testing JIC as we are not ready by any means for a no 3 jsut yet. Should i worry or is this normal.
Lucky for me AF didn't show up that soon, but when she did I was very irregular. I would say that you have nothing to worry about. It sounds really normal to me.
I was/am in exactly the same situation. Previously my Af was every 28 days even while BF but for some reason this time around they are all over the place. Having said that, that doesn't mean I don't get my hopes up everytime AF is late. My AF have been anywhere from 2wks apart to 6wks apart, not that that is any help to you at the moment. I would wait a few more days and test if you think there might be a chance.
The exact same thing has happened to me Hoody. I am still waiting for them to come back, not that I am upset they arent here already, but its just annoying not knowing when they will appear again. When I went to the Baby Clinic a couple of weeks ago she said that becuase I was breatfeeding that I shouldnt have had them back yet and that I was unlucky to get them. She said that more than likely I wouldnt get them back again for a while. The thought of being pregnant again did however cross my mind too, but its way to early for another one!
I did a Home pg test and got a so at least i know i'm not pg I guess its just the waiting game for AF to show up. I hate been irregular and not knowing
i didnt see AF for a longgg time after i had Krystal (cant remember exactly, but i think close to 12 months) but i have not had constant AF each month since, i probably have one every 2 months? even that is a rough description. im not fussed tho, i am happy to not welcome her back monthly just yet!
