Pelvic Floor - not back to normal

Has anyone else has their pelvic floor not go back to normal by 6 weeks?
Would I be able to tell if I had a prolapse (I saw a physio yesterday and she asked whether I'd had a prolapse..)

I guess I really didn't do as many pelvic floor exercises as I should have, but still thought it would be more back to normal by now.

I pretty much have to do them lying down to tell that I'm doing it properly and hold them for any length of time, so I do them in the morning after Milo's first feed, sometime during the day when I get time, and again at night when I go to bed. And more often in between if I get a chance!

Hi Rayray. Milo was a pretty big boy, so maybe he just streched things a little more than would normally happen. Don't know about the prolapse though. I didn't do any exercises until after Lindsay was born (he was a big bub too), but is sounds like you're doing enough of them now. Maybe you should tell your Doc at your 6wk checkup (if you haven't already had it).
