How did you feel after weaning and birthing?

Matthew is 12 months old and we finished breastfeeding 2 weeks ago. Now I feel like I have been hit by a mac truck... in an AF crampy, moody way. I haven't had a visit from AF since Matthew was born and was wondering if anyone else felt so crappy when finishing breastfeeding as well? I can't think of what else it could be?

I was so upset when Angus weaned. He decided he didn't want it anymore but I don't think I was ready. I cried for days, every time I had a let down.
One little thing I may add is that I also felt miserable when Mason weaned himself too but I was already PG with Angus and didn't know it. You sus Nell?

*huge hugs* Nell... I haven't been through either but I often think what it will be like. Thanks for raising this topic.

I hope things settle soon for you, it must be pulling at your heartstrings I would imagine?
