Question Question about AF (TMI warning)

AF started back for me 6 weeks after I gave birth to Jazminda. This is the second month of me having AF and it started on 11 of Feb - it is now the 26 of Feb and AF is not letting up.

I have recently started the pill again (after being off it for 12 months). I stopped taking the pill on Saturday (24 of Feb)thinking that it was because I did not start on the sugar pill in the red section as to why AF was continuing but it is now coming into Tuesday and I still have AF - it's quite red - not a bromnish red but a real vibrant red and very heavy to the point that I am in so much pain that it's not funny. I am going to see my Dr when I can get an appointment but has this happened to anyone else or am I just the lucky one?

    Hi

I didn't have quite the same experience as I didn't go onto the pill, but my first AF after baby was horrendously heavy. It returned with vengeance about 6 weeks after I had fully finished breastfeeding.

The first lasted for about 14 days and for the first 5 was massively heavy, I was using 'super' protection and having to change hourly, even had to set my alarm to wake me up overnight to change several times!

If it is happening with the pill and there is pain though I would go get it checked. I didn't have pain as such, just that awful feeling that your insides are falling out as it's so heavy!
