Talking Sick of looking like a 'Frumpy Mummy' at 26... so I went shopping!

Well as my title says I'm so sick of looking like a 'Frumpy Mummy' at 26... so I went shopping!

I bought a nice pair of 'butt lifter' jeans , I hate jeans on me, but they were the best I could find... at least I have a nice butt in them!

A long grey woolen sleevless jacket.

A short beige woolen sleeveless jacket thingy.

A blue flannel looking frilly/pretty shirt.

2 for 1 3/4 sleeve, V neck cotton on tops - grey and white.

2 singles, 1 blue, 1 brown, long for layering.

1 black short sleeved black top with crocketing at the top (that apparently shows off my BB, so DH tells me )

I think I have my winter staples... this may just make me feel a little better about myself

Going for a hair cut tomorrow , my hair was down to my bum, cut it just before Christmas to around about my bra-strap. Tomorrow I am going to... just below my shoulders I have never had my hair that short, ever! I am sooooo excited!

    Sorry for my rambling....

Good on you. Nothing better than a good shopping spree....except maybe a haircut.... which you already have planned!!! I'm sure you'll feel heaps better afterwards.

    You go girl!

That's awesome DaintreeDream. I too can't wait to do shopping for new clothes, shoes, and make-up (which I hardly wear). I am sick of looking unfashionable . I need to be like before (before I became a mother that is. Lol).

    Thankyou!

Well I got my hair cut - the hairdresser was sooooo slowwwww. It took forever. But at least she did a good job I love it.

My haircut teamed with my new flannel frilly top... I feel great

Good for you!! That's great to hear.
I just got my hair cut this morning, had it 3/4 of the way down my back and now it only just sits on my neck... still getting used to it!

Good for you DT,I seems like us Mum`s are always the last to buy anything new for ourselves.

Oh you have to love a good hair cut change!

When DS was born life became a whole lot more stressful and chaotic and i gained heaps of weight and felt completely frumpy! Once he was old enough to still recognize me with shorter hair and was over another surgery I treated myself to a VERY short do, my hair went from bra line to ear line! Who Hoo.

Now I actually feel like the outside and the inside matches!

Good on you for focusing on yourself for a change - something us mums tend to not do enough of.

Bet you look more like a yummy mummy than a frumpy one!

    Good for you!

Although, I must say, after meeting you a couple of times now, I would definitely not descibe you as frumpy!
