My left wrist (non-dominant hand) is killing me. It feels like my tendon that attatches from my wrist to my thumb is a painful mess when I pick Keenan up. (It feels different to a sprain)
I usually use my left hand to support his head, and this pain has been around for about three weeks...
Anybody else get wrist pain from their baby? (or am I just a freak??!!LOL)
My left arm has been sore since I came home from hospital - it can be like a dull ache or really sharp pain when I move my arm a certain way - I asked my Dr at my 6 week check up (thinking it was something to do with the drip I had in my arm) & he said it should go away. It is still here & so I thought it was from reaching out of bed to rock the bassinet & also when I carry her I tap her bum with that hand to get her to sleep. I have made a conscious effort to not use my left arm but the pain is still there. I will ask the Dr again when I take Eliana for her 4month shots on Wednesday.
Do you remember hurting it? Maybe you have pulled the muscle somehow. It could be a ganglion(sp)...I have one in my left wrist that joins my hand to my arm. It became a lot worse when I was pregnant, which is common. I didn't have a lump their for a while and then it just came up. It has gone back down again and doesn't hurt anymore so dunno whats happened there. Maybe just ask your GP about it.
I think I've figured out what it is....I was holding Keenan on my left hip for quite a while yesterday while we were outside, and my wrist (left one) has to go at some funny angles to support him and keep him 'up' on my hip.
