    Stretch Marks Appreciation Group

I'm a little over seeing woman feeling self consious about their stretchies.

Sure, they're not pretty. But they are there because our bodies had to accomodate, care for & grow our beautiful little bubba's. Our skin had to stretch and not split into two bits, despite it feeling that way sometimes! And they are a reminder of what beautiful things our bodies can make! They are not disgusting.

I have them ALL around my belly button and on my inner thighs... I've also got smaller ones running inside my leg to my knees. I know, right? My knees... how the heck...
I've also got one mother right on the front of my pelvic bone that's a good inch wide and an inch plus some more long. She's very impressive... I should give her a name *strokes chin* I should call her Nigra, because when she first appeared I thought it was my Linea Nigra thinger appearing...

    Be proud! They're gorgeous things

Little reminders of the beauty of having a little person inside of you.... I look at mine and think of how my tummy used to be nice and big and round

I had stretchies b4 my girls that had faded, now they're back with a vengeance BUT i have an excuse now, i have 2 gorgeous girls and no-one has to know they were there b4 them!

Talking about odd stretch marks.. i have them on my shoulders from when i used to swim competitively, you can't see them until summer when i get a tan and then they go all silver

My bub was due Easter Sunday, and when i was preggers i thought my tummy looked like a giant easter egg with the stretch marks like the flashy wrapping. Now, it is deflated but the marks are still kinda easter egg shaped.
