Hi- i am enquiring for a friend who just gave birth to a little boy.
He was posterier for two days of labour and finaly turned right at the end (but not quiet all the way- so the dr needed to use the suction thingy)
My friend now says her back is really sore and she feels like she needs to wee all the time. This is her second bub- and she doesnt remember feeling this way after her first. Could it be the result of bub being posterier for so long? i have told her if he is in alot of pain or really worried she should go to the dr.
My little boy was a posterior birth (they tried unsuccessfully to turn him with the vacuum thing) but I don't remember back pain and the need to wee. I do remember not being able to stand straight up for 3 days after he was born. I could only walk bending over and holding on to the back of a wheelchair. Hope your friend's symptoms clear up quickly.
I had a 3 day postierier labour (although it turned out to be a ceaser) I had back pain afterwards still do heading to the chiro next week for alignment ( i do have shermans disease though which could play a part as well)
Perhaps try a chiropractor.
ooooh ouch Posterior. DD was posterior for me too for the whole birth. Sooo painful!!
No advice sorry but I think she should go and see a GP to discuss things. I know that I cracked my tailbone again during the birth, maybe she has done something similar?
It hurt for weeks and still does now and then if i sit down too long
I have had a similar experience and was diagnosed with a prolapse of the uterus, bladder and rectum. It sounds as if your friend may have an issue with her bladder, she should definitely get it checked out if it feels like she needs to wee all the time. All the best!
