Oh no, i am not a happy girl today!
I woke up with the sorest throat, am run down and tired....
DH was sick last week and i thought awesome, i didnt catch anything and now it is starting, i know how it usually goes = sore throat, sinus infection and headaches - lasts for a week. Usually shockingly painful and only feel like laying in bed.
It hurts to eat, so of course i dont feel like eating, which i know isnt good for me, bub or my milk supply - same with drinking...
I dont know how i am going to cope with looking after a 7 week old and being sick,
Has anyone else gotten sick post natally this soon, and how did you cope with it?
Oh no, hope it doesn't develop into something too nasty. Have you got anyone who can give you a hand so you can spend a few days in bed with bub? Can someone prepare your meals etc? Best to get a few days of rest in and get over it quickly than have it linger for ages.
I haven't really been too sick at all yet with bub.. except for recent morning sickness! But I know mum would give me a hand.
No we dont have any family nearby (closest is 800km away) so that isnt an option.
And DH cant take time off work (he couldnt even take time off when DD was born).
I feel like i have been going full steam for 7 weeks, on my own (DH is great at night when he gets home) but even overnight i am feeding etc so there isnt too much he can do iykwim...
I hope too it doesnt linger on, and i hope DD doesnt get sick as she is due her immunisations on saturday - poor thing...
