When to expect PPAF if not BF?

It's been 8 weeks since Leo was born and I'm wondering how long it will take for my cycle to reset itself. Obviously I wasn't breastfeeding. In fact, I took a pill to stop my milk coming in.

I had about 20 days of lochia, then about 2 weeks of fertile CM. I had 4 days of spotting a week ago, not what I'd consider a proper period. Could that be the first one? Based on the fertile CM timing, I would have expected a proper period to have started in the last couple of days (estimated about 14 days DPO without temping).

How long can this take? I figure the hormones are still working their way out. I still have mild SPD and colostrum.

Hun after my son was stillborn it took 6 weeks to the day for my AF to return. It can take a while for all the hormones to settle so hopefully it returns soon

It shouldn't be too much longer It is normal to have lochia for that long and stop and then a bit of spotting as you clear the last little bits.

No personal experience from me but 2 people I know haven't fed past around 2wks & af returned for them between 12-15wks pp. Im sure af will return in the very near future

I got a little milk after Isaiah but I had only just finished feeding Harmony...I guess I know now why she suddenly self weaned too...

I am just ovulating now.... it is SO SO hard to not jump on that train...

So it took almost 5 wks after bub to get a proper period, but there was lots of little spotting in between...

I'm now starting to wonder if those 4 days of spotting was PPAF - now getting more fertile CM.....

I'm just a control freak and want to know what's going on. We're going away in a couple of weeks - would be ironic if AF decided to turn up then :/
