The wind has picked up round these parts... (possibly TMI)

So about day 2 after giving birth I found I had the worst wind/flatulence for nearly 2 days, and the midwives said it was completely normal and everything just getting back to normal. It all stopped after a couple of days.

For the last week, I have the worst wind I have ever had in my life, and it's freaking me out Is this an after affect of birthing, or possibly something else? I was on a rather low carb diet before and during pregnancy, and am now having more carbs due to BF - could that do it? I also seem to have been lucky enough to get a hemorroid as well, but have that under control - do they go together?

I'm having more fibre to stay regular..... but this is driving me nuts! Plus it's embarassing to say the least! Anyone else experienced this after having a baby or could it just be coincidence?

I always find 'roids go hand in hand with constipation, and that leads to more wind. Try something like metamucil to keep yourself regular

    good luck ...

I was exactly the same hun, managed to get through pregnancy and labour without a roid, only to get one a few weeks later I wouldn't worry too much about the wind, your bowel has been pretty squished up for awhile and it just resettling into place and getting used to having a bit of space again.
