help - first period A/B or something else?

Hello,
warning probably TMI!! I have my baby via c/section 5.5 months ago. Last month I had a very heavy yellow (really yellow) discharge and I went to the GP got a smear and all was ok. I now have the heavy bright yellow discharge again and a bit of pain in the bottom right of my tummy. I am fully breastfeeding - do you think this could be a 'period'? I feel ok...not sure if I should see the ob or not.
Has anyone experienced something similar?

I don't think it would be your period considering the discharge is bright yellow.
Did the dr give you any indication as to what it may have been last time you went?
Perhaps another visit to your gp may be in order, best to get these things checked
