Hi, My period has gone missing with no explaination! Done multiple home tests - all negative - blood test done and it was negative - so definately not pregnant. No explaination for missing period. This was to be my 3rd cycle after Emergency D&C in April due to miscarriage. Those 2 periods were fine - just a little longer than usual. My husband and I started TTC after the second cycle - but in the sense of it will happen when it's supposed to happen. When my period didn't turn up I thought, wow we might be pregnant, but then everything was negative. This has only ever happened once before in my life and that was in December of last year - but that was only for 2 weeks. Did ultra sounds and blood test - but everything appears normal. I've had all the feelings of getting my period, but no show so far???
This once happened to me when i was about 17yo. My AF was gone for 3 months with no explanation. i wasn't even sexually active then, so i couldn't think i was pregnant. My Dr. put it down to stress and that the body can react to stress in numerous ways. So it could be stress, maybe??
I've been under some heavy stress for about 5 years, and I've been lucky enough so far that my AF never went missing - I have thought that maybe that it's, but I still wonder, my stress level's are way down now though - maybe my body isn't used to working without stress.
When AF arrives we moan and groan, when it's late or disappears without a reason we worry, when it disappears and we're pregnant we are ecstatic.
I sometimes think that we must have been male in our previous lives and done something real nasty to have comeback as woman. We are paying for our wrong doings.
