Hahaha if I wasn't on my phone I would edit the thread title to exactly that

I think clary sage is awesome for menstrual issues. I have run out now though and I got AF today and it's particularly painful. I have been rotating panadol and nurofen all day and if it weren't so hot, my heat pack would be my best friend too. I also take evening primrose for the second half of my cycles to try to even me out a little and I have heard magnesium can help too...dark choc has magnesium in it, and chocolate is awesome for the soul. Hope you're feeling better soon.
The only thing that's worked for me is not having a period. :( I have a few months before things get awful again
Definitely taking painkillers beffore it starts and continuing on schedule can take the edge off
Wine is good too. So is having a husband who will be your slave. And chocolate.
After three babies my uterus is out to make the rest of my ovulating days a living hell.
Has anyone found their period any heavier than before babies??
I have just finished period number two since having my last bubs and the pain and bleeding are unbearable and omg mood swings leading up to it are terrible!!!
I too am looking forward to menopause :)
Ahhhh yes wine :) my best friend!
Wine. Chocolate. Orgasms can be good if you are in the mood.
I used to do a lot of lying around and groaning. :dunno:
To be fair, I don't think it's my uterus that hates me so much as the errant cells that like to shed from the sides of my bowels and elsewhere when they're not supposed to.
I've always resorted to stopping my periods before too but the mirena was giving me award winning acne so I took it out. Almost regretting that now.
Yes mine is so much heavier since having kids. The gp said it was because of the placenta scar sites.
I have no wine either but also I am on call so even if I had some I couldn't indulge.
Mersyndol day strength is the same as panadiene
Xxx
I'm confused, what do other people have to do with orgasms? ;)
I can eat cold food only when cramping for some reason.
Apparently drinking red raspberry leaf tea daily helps balance out the uterus and can reduce period pain. I gave mine away as you shouldn't apparently drink it in the TWW/1st trimester. You can also take it in tablet form.
i hope you get relief soon.
I'm so glad there's a tea related remedy, I'm a big tea drinker so I'll got some of that.
Naprogesic works well for me - if I take it the day before I am due and then consistently every 6 hours. I also take panadol on top sometimes which is ok (and occasionally neurophen which is very naughty as it can cause ulcers) if I am really in pain.
This only works for me now, post lap - prior to that, very little took the edge off - double doses of pain killers and very hot baths/wheat packs and generally crying in pain and trying not to pass out was all that worked back then.
