when did u get ur second period after baby?

Evening all.
DD2 is 5 and a half months old, i had a period that started on the 24/12/09 very very heavy but lasted like a normal period and i havent had one since!
DD2 is fully breastfed, i've taken a few pregnancy tests but they've been BFN.

is it normal to have a period and then have them go AWOL on you?

There are other threads asking similar things, this is very common for cycles to be out for a bit when they return

i had a normal period 3 months after DD was born (lucky me lol) then nothing for the next 3 months! - She was exclusively BF and i can honestly say that its only been my last 3 cycles where things have gone back to some sort of "normalcy" in terms of frequency
