bleeding still post baby!!

i dont know where to post this..but my daughter was 9 weeks old yesterday. i had been bleeding right up to about 2 weeks ago..i had some sort of discharge in the past 2 weeks. sorry if tmi, but only yesterday i started bleeding again and its like bright red blood and im getting period pain as well and feel a bit 'off'. i had the implanon implant in 2 weeks ago and was wonderingif maybe that has something to do with it,i didnt think u got ur period on that though....does anyone know? alan??

It could be entirely possible that it is from the implanon. Some women will get bleeding at the start and then nothing for the duration and some will get bleeding on and off similar to AF the whole time.

Expect your menstrual periods to be irregular and unpredictable throughout the time you are using IMPLANON?. You may have more bleeding, less bleeding, or no bleeding. The time between periods may vary, and, in between periods, you may have spotting.

You should discuss any questions you may have about irregular bleeding with your Healthcare Provider. Be sure to let him or her know if you think you may be pregnant or if your bleeding is heavy and prolonged.

ok this is what happened to me; i bled for 6 weeks then it stopped for 2 weeks then it started again and went for 5 weeks, went to the doctors to see what was going on and he said it was my first period mixed wiht some left overs from post birth bleeding!! hope yours dosent last that long!!
