Some of you may know that I have been finding feathers in and around my home over the past few months and up until a week ago I believed that my Angels or my baby who is with the angels had been leaving me calling cards so to speak.
That was up until I discovered my cat had started killing birds and dragging them under the house and just bring bits and pieces in - for example yesterday I founf the remanants of 2 feet and part of a wing - BTW my cat has 2 collars on him with bells so there is nothing else I can do to help warn the birds that my moggy is on the prowl!
I also discovered that some of the birds who go to feast from my dogs food bowls have also come off second best. Well I guess that explains an aweful lot of the feathers I had been finding.
So feeling a bit disheartned to discover all my precious "feather signs" could have just been a result from my two naughty dogs and a very naughty cat I have been asking my Angels to let me know they are around me in a different way.
I have been asking for signs that I am on the right track and that i will one day become a mummy to an earth bound baby.
So there I was lying in bed last night and just before I was drifting off I got a smell of the most beautiful kind wafting (sp?) up my nose. This woke me up good and proper and I wish I could describe it better but it was like beautiful perfume and roses. I have very distinct tastes in perfume and do not tend to go for florals so it was definately not coming from me or my bed sheets.
It didn't linger long and even though I had my window open we do not have any fragrant flowers in our garden close to this window.
So I don't know, it could very well have been a sign that my Angels are with me it could have been my brain playing tricks with my mind, who knows, I do live in a very old house that has "visitors" from time to time it could have been Annie or another visitor.
I am so sorry that your feathers turned out not to be what you thought they were. I think that if you were asking for a sing and then this smell doesn't make sense in any other way then I woudl take it as one.
I believe that your little ones are always with you and this may very well have been their way of letting you know that. It definately got your attention - wheras most people can't smell anything once they start to go off to sleep. The sense of smell is the first to shut down during slumbers so you wouldn't have normally sensed that smell at all.
NaeNae, I know exactly the smell you're describing, I have smelt it too. I believe it was one of my guardians/angels with me at the time, comforting me. xxx
