    Can you say some prayers...

One of my nearest, dearest most beautiful woman friends today is having a bilateral mastectomy for aggressive breast cancer. She is 38 with 3 young children and an adoring husband.

This afternoon as I type she is going to theatre - we will know more this evening.

This tumour was not detected by mammogram - she was given the "all clear". It was detected by ultrasound and then almost missed. Joc is motherless as her mother died from this same cancer when Joc was in her early 20's.

Thinking of you sweetheart, candles lit, prayers, meditation and positivity are coming to you & your family.

    All my love,
    Deb

Thankyou for asking Nae. Thankfully it seems right now that there is no node involvement so that is excellent. Final histology on that will be in Friday. I was there with her today and she was just relieved that yesterday was over. She is amazingly upbeat and just grateful that it would seem it was caught early enough.

So I am just so so so thankful that this news is the news we had prayed so hard to hear!

    Thankyou everyone for caring...
