we have had a falling out with family and now are stuck with no godparents for Jack

i believe at least one needs to be 16 or over. my friend had her 14 year old bro as godfather for her son, but only able to because there was an adult as well

Just wondering how it went Kat, did you find someone you wanted as goddparents?

It realy depends on the church and priest, etc. My family priest was quite happy to have two female godparents etc, and occasionally I have seen two under the age of sixteen. However, if under the age of 16 I know that they need to have completed their holy communion, reconciliation and confirmation to be considered.
