I figured this was the most appropriate section to post this seeing as its related to crystals/gemstones and their healing properties.
Background - Bestie and I were chatting about her up coming babyshoower and she was mentioning she didn't want it all cutesy so I told her about a couple of the Motherscircle/Blessingway things and she particularly likes the beads idea.
I am definately not up to speed with Crystals and their properties so I am turning to my BB friends in the hopes of attaining a list of good crystals that can be worn by a pregnant woman through the last weeks of her pregnancy and her labour.
So far I have:
Rose quartz
Moonstone
Clear quartz
These can be protective crystals, good luck crystals, healing crystals, love cyrstals, keep focused crystals ANYTHING that can be related back to pregnancy, labour and mother and baby.
The reason I am asking is so I can include a note on her baby shower invite for people to bring a bead nad offer them a list of suggestions if they don't know about crystals.
Thank you so very much everyone.
OH ALSO

I have also discovered that the Angel for birth is Archangel Gabriel and he has two assisting Angels - Armisael who is the angel of the womb and also Temeluch who is the protector of children at birth and infancy.
I am mainly posting these in case someone else might want to add to them OR may find them helpful for themselves or someone else.
I'd like to add that Hematite and some agate's can also aid in the prevention is miscarriage as well - one of the things I found out when I was researching around this time last year when I had some bleeds with DD I don't have my old list of meanings at the moment - they're on my desktop computer which has a virus that stops me from accessing any programs, it's on the to-do list for getting things fixed around here lol
It hasn't happened yet Arcadia, it sbeing held the end of October. She still wants the bead ceremony so I have collected as many of the above mentioned crystals as I could get in 8mm smooth rounded beads.
The plan is to use it as an icebreaker.
I will make up some cards to go in with each individual crystal and each will have an affirmation. What will happen is each person will go around the room and in turn say
"My name is Sassy, I met M2B at work, The bead I have selected is X and is used for ABC and I believe (insert affirmation)" then that person will thread the bead onto the string and pass it to the next person ....... until all have placed a bead on the thread.
Well thats the plan ... we all know what they say about plans
