So, there was a change in plans and they've now taken him to Port Macquarie hospital rather than JHH. I'm taking that as being a really good sign. Hopefully he gets better from here and the only place he goes to from Port Macquarie hospital is home.

He hat CT scans fine today at came back fine. However, it's been discovered that he has a heart murmur. He is having an MRI and spinal tap done tomorrow.
My family have a history of heart murmurs so it isn't uncommon for him to have one but it's still a shocking discovery. Poor little man. Fingers crossed everything is okay.

Praying your family get some answers and hes home soon. Its scary my niece stopped breathing twice when she was a week old and its heartbreaking x

Thanks so much everyone.

My nephew had a lumbar puncture today. The nurse said the fluid that came out was very clear, which is usually a good sign. He was given happy gas and was giggling away. The nurses love him as he is a real sweet little guy. I called my mum and my nephew wanted to speak to me. I got teary speaking to him.
He is having an MRI soon. We thought it was today but it's looking more like tomorrow morning. He has to have anti biotics until Monday so he will be in the hospital until at least then.
We're driving up there to surprise him on Sunday. I can't wait to see his little face and kiss him all over it!
